Primärt utformad för två personer (Endast 1 queen size-säng), kommer Cabin in the Pike att sova fyra (en soffa sovhytt). Både sängen och soffan ligger intill varandra i ett öppet loft.

Secuded peaceful cabin

My wife and i enjoyed this cozy cabin that has everything you need, away from the hussle and bussle. We spotted deer , wild turkey's from the deck.

Beautiful

This how is amazing. Loved every little thing about it. Hiking through property seeing turkeys was wonderful. We will be back next year. The property owners were the best we ever had. Very friendly like family.

Picture Perfect!

The cabin is quaint, cozy, and clean. Perfect place to land after spending the day in flight or running the mountain roads around Sedalia, CO. Hosts are gracious and respectful. Lots of wildlife to see from the deck. VERY RELAXING!

Cozy peaceful mountain stay

Coming from the flatlands of Illinois this cozy cabin was everything we had hoped for. A Hiking trail just outside the door, sightings of mule deer and turkeys, afternoon thunderstorms and cool mountain air. We had a lovely stay and look forward to visiting again!

Beautiful and Restful

Awesome cabin!

Perfect cabin for 2. Very clean and cozy. Owner, Tom, was great and very helpful suggesting activities in the area. Hiking to Devils Head was fabulous. Also golf at Arrowhead did not disappoint. Will definitely return.

Amazing cabin escape!

We had an absolutely incredible experience at the Cabin in the Pike. The cabin itself is full of charm and all the amenities you need. The wildlife experience was amazing as we were visited by hummingbirds, deer and even a bear! Tom is an awesome host and is very responsive to any need you may have. He even brought us a vase from his house for some flowers we brought with us for a special occasion to borrow for our visit. This place is a gem and quite special. We will be back!

Anniversary Celebration

Excellent cabin with everything provided that you might need. Location is central to many great activities as well as restaurants and still remains remote enough to feel disconnected. Customer Service is far and away better than what was expected and what you receive in most instances today.

Just perfect

We had a relaxing stay at the cabin in the Pike thanks to our wonderful host. It’s a quaint cabin tucked in the woods surrounded by nature. Really a picture perfect setting. It’s clean and well stocked which is so appropriated. There is plenty to explore in the area. Colorado is a beautiful place. But with hiking, swimming, and daily visits from a family of deer and other woodland creatures right on the property we spent most of our time at the cabin. It was perfect.

Incredible Stay

Wow, just wow. What an incredible start to our Colorado vacation! We absolutely loved everything about Cabin in the Pike. And did not want to leave! It is in the most beautiful location nestled in a hillside amongst the trees. The cabin has so much charm and is just absolutely lovely. Plus it was spotless. And so comfortable! Tom the owner was such an incredible host, and so knowledgeable about the area. We cannot wait to return!!

Our First Cabin Vacation!

We've never enjoyed such a relaxing and quiet vacation as that of the Cabin in the Pike. We weren't sure as to what to expect since our past vacations always included attractions to see, this was Nature in its true beauty. It's amazing how wonderful the immense silence we experienced was the entire time. This is what a vacation should be; relaxing, reflecting, and reconnection with yourself and spouse. Thanks to Tom and Deb for offering such an incredible property. This is a place we will return.

Perfect Honeymoon Location

We stayed here on our honeymoon and could not have been happier. We were able to go do daily things in Colorado Springs, Denver, and even Estes Park. Tom and Deb give a great book with tips of where to go. That lead us to a beautiful place up the mountain with a BEAUTIFUL view that we will never forget. The cable happened to be out when we were there (which wouldn't have been a big deal), so they gave us their personal dvd collection to use while we were there. They are the sweetest; they made our stay even better. We could not have picked a better place. We hope to return soon!

What a wonderful place!

If you want to unplug from the world for a few days, this is where you want to be! The cabin is beautiful, clean, and very well-supplied (you just need your own oil/spices). The grounds are gorgeous and amazingly well-maintained. We took advantage of the multiple decks and went swimming in the lovely pool. There are great trails on the property that lead back into the Pike Forest. There were beautiful fields of flowers and butterflies and we came across a wild turkey family and a black bear! The owners and the caretaker of the property were very kind and helpful. You can travel deeper into the forest on route 67 or reach civilization in 10 minutes if you head east. We highly recommend this property!

Wonderful Cozy Cabin in the Pike

We had a fabulous week in this lovely, well stocked, centrally located cabin in the woods. The location is perfect for seeing the sights on the eastern range of CO while providing a very relaxing and serene wooded environment to come back to every day. We enjoyed spending time on the decks relaxing, reading and taking in the lovely mountain views. The owners, Deb and Tom, are wonderful hosts and are nearby if you need assistance. The cabin is well stocked with amenities to meet the needs of most guests. A pleasant surprise was the two terry robes waiting for us in the bathroom (the views from the tub are gorgeous!). The cabin is very pet friendly and our golden retriever loved hanging out on the decks too. He actually would wimper every morning to be let out to sit on the deck! I would recommend this cabin to family and friends without hesitation and plan to stay here again when we come back to visit in the future.

Perfect Get Away

This cabin is perfect! The area is beautiful and my husband and I were able to spend our days driving nearby scenic drives while staying away from the dreaded coronavirus! Don't forget to bring your own spices for cooking; usually places we rent have those types of things but b/c of the current health situation, you will need to bring your own. This cabin would be a perfect place for honeymooners, it's very private and you have access to many acres of hiking. I was impressed with how tidy everything here was. The very sweet groundskeeper keeps the plants watered and the pool clean. I didn't get to meet Deb or Tom due to social distancing but we had their numbers if we needed anything (which we didn't) and they were near by if we had any issues. This place is truly a gem and one of the best mountain retreats I've ever been to. If you like to take scenic drives, make sure to drive over Squall Pass. Would love to come back and spend a much longer time! Thank again.

Great little mountain cabin

Perfect size for solo or couple, or even small group of 3-4 people. Clean, equipped with all appliances and kitchen amenities you'd need. Window AC unit was a nice surprise, kept things cool during a late summer heat wave, as did the great little 'mountainside' pool which was great for a dip after some hot day hikes (on the property, which has trails going into the Pike!). Tom and Deb are great hosts; Tom stopped over for a quick in-brief to give the lay of the land and cabin and were available for any questions throughout the stay. The best part was unplugging - sitting on the deck sipping coffee in the morning and listening to the wind blow through the pines and aspen - great! But with full wifi and DirectTV, was able to keep up on any news and football scores/games! The cabin is a short distance from lots - in addition to those listed in the page, a great drive down and back up the Platte River valley, golf at Arrowhead, hike Devil's Head trail and fire tower overlook, Red Rocks, and of course Denver. Also some prime 4-wheeling territory close, based on seeing some of the nearby road traffic with lots of trucks hauling cool 4-wheeling vehicles. The property (with cabin and lodge) are off a canyon road, easily accessible in summer by regular car. Tom and Deb were great and easy to deal with, great communication. Looking forward to a return visit someday!

Perfect location!

We enjoyed 4 nights at this cabin, steps away from the Pike National Forest. It had everything we needed! We loved having coffee outside in the mornings watching the deer and turkey. This cabin is out-of-town enough to allow connection with nature, but close to shopping and grocery stores in case you need something. Tom and Deb were great hosts!

After a 26 year career in the USAF, Tom and Deb decided to move back to his native roots. We love the area with so much beauty and peace. We just want to share this experience with everyone.
