Everything was as advertised, clean, spacious, comfortable, and easy communication with the owner. Nice back yard and pet friendly. It is located close to downtown and many nice restaurants.

Hunting Adventure

Booked the stay because it was close to the ranch where we were hunting gators and hogs. It was a great place for us. Plenty of room, nice beds and well equipped. If you are not used to the local water, bottled water is a must.

Great retreat in Arcadia.

The house was well furnished and had a extra toiletries and other amenities. In the center of town and close to everything. Great open backyard to hang out at.

This house is exactly as described in the listing. We needed a place to stay for an event that we were attending in Arcadia. This house was just what we needed. Parking is ample, but right off a main street, so be careful :). This house has everything you need.

Nice clean house- beats a hotel by a mile

The house was very clean and tastefully decorated and the owner replies immediately when contacted. Tall people need to duck to get into the bathroom,lol. The house is right on a somewhat busy road but it was not loud. We came for the rodeo and it was a great stay, about a 5 minute drive to the rodeo and several small but excellent restaurants nearby. I would stay here again!

A godsend of a host and a beautiful home to stay in during the hurricane

I could gush and gush and gush over what being able to get this house when all hotels were closed for the impending hurricane. The host was wonderful to my in-laws and even had her son wait two hours in line for gas so he could come fix their TV. The house itself was flawlessly decorated and the price was right. I know my mother-in-law will have a hard time going home. So if you’re looking for a great place with the perfect host, this is it. I’d give it six stars if I could and thank you so much to the hosts for everything

Short visit with family

This rental is as advertised and worked well for what we needed. It was clean and had plenty of towels and extra bed linens if needed. It is on a busy highway right in town but the driveway offered plenty of room to be able to turn around without having to back out in the road. You are close to restaurants and shopping as it is very centrally located in Arcadia. Janie was very easy to communicate with and was very prompt with the only minor request we had. We would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful oasis

My family and I would definitely stay here again. Place was well stick with important item such as towels and rag and cleaning supplies. The owners were very friendly and caring. The place was very clean and ready to receive guess. They have a nice set up Outside and the grass was cut and neat. The home is close to everything in Arcadia. I do not regret staying here will definitely be booking again in a few months. There is plenty of hot water for a hot shower. There a clean fridge and stove. Stop reading my post and hit book already you won’t regret it

Awesome Owner/Host

House was clean, which is always most important to me, & had everything needed in excess. Owner/Host was very sweet & accommodative with our unique & complicated situation. There were a few minor issues but 99% of them were totally uncontrollable by the owner. Neighborhood was a bit shocking based on pics provided. It’s a rough looking area but we didn’t have any problems. For some reason, there were no couch cushions on the back part of the couch to lean back on, which was weird. They just weren’t there. I used some pillows from the extra bedroom so it was fine for a short stay. There was a ton of construction directly in front of the house & the road was blocked to a one lane & one way only traffic. The second night there, which was a Tuesday, the construction crew began working at midnight & worked for 2 hours. It was VERY loud & the internet went out completely when they started working. They must’ve messed up something. It never came back on the rest of the time we were there, which meant no tv at all. Traffic was heavy & loud, being only a few feet from the front door. It must’ve been a detour road cuz there were semi’s & other big trucks, like gravel trucks, coming through non-stop. I’ve never seen so much traffic on such a random back road in the middle of nowhere. But since it was just a short layover stay of two nights it wasn’t a huge problem for us. We weren’t there for vacation. We just needed to be close to the hospital for our son’s procedure.

The house was ok size. Kitchen is really small, cookware is very limited and floors were dirty. Host was responsive and addressed my issue of no rags or hand towels.
