Joseph is a wonderful host. He was extremely helpful responding to questions in the first days as we settled into his lovely VRBO. Joseph mentioned that his twin daughters decorated the house, which we found to be welcoming and festive. The house was clean with an outdoor grill and hot-tub and a 10-minute walk to the water. The AC was amazing. It kept us very comfortable when the temperature ran hot & humid.Our shih tzu was also welcomed with a wonderful fenced-in yard to explore and chill out in. He had access to a dog bed as well as comfy dog designated space in the living room. We thoroughly enjoyed out time there.

Joe communicated with us ahead of our reservation, making sure we were set for our arrival and entry into the property. He takes pride in his property making an impressive effort to decorate the inside and outside for the holidays. We were welcomed with some treats for the humans and our two hound dogs!

Pet friendly and welcoming!! Dog appropriate gear provided, water bowl, poop bags. Such a cute place! The pictures dont do it justice! Nice yard, beach walkable distance. My bff and I took my mom. Tons of beds! We will definitely be back!

A small place but right on the beach with a ton of stuff all around it to do. 10-15 minutes to the airport and the main stripe. I would love to stay there again.

Super cute & fun get away

This house was great for our family & there were lots of nice touches, like the playground in the yard, the board games & cookies, and all the lights and decorations. Our kids also loved the jetted tub! The beach is a short walk away and there's a community center down the block with a larger playground and tennis courts. Perfect spot for families like ours!

Great house, great location

We loved staying at this great house near the water. It was very quiet and the neighborhood and surrounding areas were very nice. Plenty of amenities and dog friendly. Owner was very sweet and accommodating. I hope we will make it back in the future for a longer stay.

Perfect family reunion spot

My adult children live in the area, and my husband and I live in Ohio. This was a perfect place for our family to get together. We could even bring our dogs! This was our second stay at this house and we will be back again.

Joe's Beach Cottage is Wonderful

My husband and I really enjoyed our vacation in East Lyme/Niantic CT. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet. Niantic is nice w/great restaurants and the best used book store I've ever experienced! Joe was very nice and answered all of our questions and keeps a lovely house.

Quaint cottage in Niantic

We loved both the neighborhood and the fenced in yard for our four legged “baby” Gracie! The house was both comfortable and whimsical! Joe has created a charming retreat!

Great cottage getaway

We stayed for several nights, the place had everything, Joe is a great host and very friendly. Since we had never been to the area he spent some tome with us, providing us with things to do and see and gave us his favorite food spots. Thanks Joe

Lovely getaway

We had such a great experience here! Joseph was so gracious and responsive and went above and beyond to make our stay great. His place is so cute with a mix of whimsical and really convenient touches. Our dog loved the yard, too! The neighborhood is gorgeous, too. We wished we had more time to explore the area and to take advantage of all the house has to offer.
