Our two double bed rooms offer a view of the Wright Brothers Monument and over look our seasonal pool. All rooms have private patios or balconies. We have a microwave and small refrigerator as well as a coffee maker in each room. Free coffee is also available 24 hours a day in our lobby. The hotel front desk is staffed 24 hours a day. Convenient beach access is located right across from our parking lot.

The location is perfect. The pool was lovely but too cold to swim in. The staff were outstanding. The quiet was very appreciated.

Great location, that’s about it.

Room was gross, AC did not work and we had to Instacart fans just to be able to sleep. We had to check in with a guy on a computer screen, no one was at the desk. We sent multiple emails to the host with no response. Room smelled horrendous and found trash around bed from previous guests. All in all, if you don’t care about the cleanliness and only about location this is great as it is just a short walk across the street to the beach. If you care about comfort and cleanliness I would skip. The pool area was nice but my kid never felt safe enough out there long to be able to swim. I would skip and stay elsewhere.

Would rather me come with Covid than refund me for the whole trip!

Wouldn’t refund my whole trip due to unforeseen medical conditions. Would rather me come and stay with Covid vs refunding me for the whole trip. I decided not to travel for everyones well-being. Now I have no vacation money for when we get better.

Nice getaway

Husband and I needed a getaway. Location was great. There was a problem with AC in our room when we got there so they moved us to another room. Nice getaway.

Do NOT RESERVE THIS PROPERTY!

Reserved via VRBO about two months ahead and prepaid. Arrived around 8pm and they didn't have my reservation! They said this happens sometimes, that VRBO doesn't tell them when someone reserves a room. Really? Why would you continue to use VRBO then? Luckily, after an hour of calling around because they were completely booked, the very nice front desk person, Ronald, found us another room at a Days Inn, which was actually much nicer (and more expensive, but we didn't have to pay anything). Not Ronald's fault. He was great. Bad on VRBO!!

Very Happy Customer!

It’s Kill Devil Hills at the Outer Banks of NC. And even though you can’t see the beach from the hotel, it is just one block away to walk up the stairs on the dune and down to the beach. I will stay here again.
