Stand alone accommodations on beautiful Lake Dardanelle only 6 miles west of Dardanelle, AR. The hosts residence is on the property, about 75 feet across the driveway. Relaxing front porch on a very quiet area of the shoreline. It is a 400 foot walk (1 minute)down a trail to our dock. You can fish from the dock. The cottage is beautifully decorated with new furnishings and recently remodeled bathroom. Separate bedroom with king size bed. (The garage is used by the host for storage and is not part of the rental). The cottage is equipped with central heat/air, full size stove, utensils/dishes, full size refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, linens, hair dryer, iron/ironing board and clothes hangers. Convenient to shopping and restaurants 6 miles away in Dardanelle, Russellville is 18 minutes. Mount Nebo is 3.4 miles away. Both Mt Nebo and Mt. Magazine have lots of opportunities for hiking, biking and outdoor activities. Mount Nebo offers Monument Trails for mountain biking. Lake Dardanelle is just a walk to the shore or 2 miles to the nearest boat launch at Lake Dardanelle State Park., only 0.6 miles off of State Highway 22. Quiet and peaceful area with plenty of room for trailer parking.

Nice place, great for a couple's get away.

The place was nice, clean and quiet. The only downside for me is the bedding was very scented and for someone that is sensitive to fragrances, it made sleeping less than desirable.

Lovely Cottage

The cottage was perfect for my wife and I to have quick little get away. It is right on the lake and close to several state parks for hiking.The cottage was clean and the owners were very friendly andres responsive.

Another great stay!!!!

I had a great four day stay to do some fishing and take a break on my drive to TN. As usual, Amy and Jerry were awesome. Jerry knows I'm a rookie fisherman so he loaned me some seasonally appropriate lures. I mentioned to them I wrenched my back my 1st day of fishing. So they gave me a heating pad. It was a lifesaver! A great place with awesome hosts! I'll be back in the spring.

Just right

Very nice host. Place was clean. Tucked away in a quiet beautiful wooded lot with a lake view! So relaxing. We went hiking but I could have sat there all day and read a book.

Perfect couple mini vacay...

Short walk to dock was perfect distance. Set the mood for the great fishing experience! We saw all sorts of wildlife while waiting for fish to bite! Deli up the street and Buffett in town were amazing! Also, checked out some shops while in town. And could not have been done without the great advice and guidance from Jerry and Amy!

Beautiful home and friendly hosts

We were more than pleased with this clean, quiet, and beautiful location! Our hosts, Jerry and Amy, were welcoming and made us feel right at home. It was smaller than most rentals, but for the two of us it was just the right size. We’ve been renting through VRBO since 2017 and this home didn’t disappoint! Highly recommended!

Awesome fishing trip!!!

A 10 Star experience! The hosts did everything to make my stay perfect. I told them I was a rookie fisherman looking to catch some fish. The host sent me an extremely detailed email explaining the current fishing situation so I could have the proper lures and such. He also provided three detailed maps with suggested fishing spots! And they worked. I caught some bass and had a great time. I'll definitely be back!

Clean, Comfortable, Quite, Convenient!!

Don't hesitate to stay here. The host is more than accommodating. We brought an older bass boat and he offered the use of some of his tools should we happen to need them. He also moved a vehicle to allow for us to pull our boat in easily without having to disconnect it. The property is located on the water, and their are a few nearby boat ramps. We used the free ramp at the nearby state park since it was quite windy. That offered us some protection as it is in a bit of a cove. There was room to park boat and trailer as well as a pull through driveway to pull in park and then drive out. The area is quiet and convenient to restaraunts in Dardanelle, Russelville and a quick drive to Paris about 30 mins. We did not get to fish as we had liked since we were there for other reasons primarily. Fishing was secondary. But, when coming back for fishing I would stay here in a minute, without hesitation.

Beautiful lakeside home

This home was beautiful, super clean and very cozy. It sits on lake right beside the Arkansas river channel and there were several barges that went by while we were there (fun to watch). The king size bed was super comfy and the walk in shower was so nice. It was super peaceful and we loved it. There was a fire pit with a grill with outdoor lights that was so neat. Would definitely recommend!!

Beautiful Space in Beautiful Area

We were so pleased with our stay here. The property met all of our needs. Everything was super clean & the property was beautiful! The owners are extremely friendly & very detail oriented. We cannot wait to return in Warner weather so we can really enjoy the lake.

Great Hosts

Jerry and Amy were wonderful hosts! They were so very proactive in their communications, reaching out acknowledging moments after I booked the property in July 2023 and so gracious with an offer to check in early on my day of arrival in November 2023. Property was immaculate. Appreciated the quiet location on Lake Dardanelle and its convenient location to local state parks, restaurants and shopping.

Great Get Away

This property was amazing as were the hosts! Pictures did not do it justice. We have stayed in many places but this property was way above all of the rest! Looked brand new! Well kept & so clean! Owners have replaced the Queen bed with a King! Had everything we needed to make it a great trip. So peaceful & quiet. Loved sitting on the dock! Can't wait to go back!

My husband (Jerry) and I (Amy) have lived in the Russellville-Paris-Mena area for more than 50 years. We have adventured to many places in the state during this time. We have two adult children and three grand children. Our personal interests include: food, cooking, fishing, hunting, hiking, running, walking, water-falling, site seeing, power-boating, scuba diving, canoeing and kayaking.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We were living about an hour west in the town of Charleston, I am a radiation therapist (recently retired) I took a locum tenum job in Russellville during vacation from my normal job in Fort Smith. Subsequently, I decided I would like to take a full time position that was open there. My husband was agreeable as long as we could find a place on the lake or with a very good view. He is an engineer for a company in a nearby community. After looking for a house or property in a number of area communities we discovered this property. We cleared it by hand, contracted the building of the cottage to live in while we sold our Charleston property. As luck would have it our property there sold quickly. We moved to the cottage and started construction of the house we live in now.

Our clean and modern cottage is convenient to many of the local attractions. It is a 1 minute walk on the trail to our dock on the lake. It offers a quiet peaceful, very low traffic environment. It is close to the town of Dardanelle (6 miles) & Russellville (7 miles) for restaurants and shopping. It is equipped with DSL/wireless internet and Direct TV (smart TV). It is only 0.6 miles off of State Highway 22 in a quiet and peaceful area with plenty of room for trailer parking. 2 miles from nearest boat ramp. 3.4 miles from Mount Nebo.
