Excellent Location

Villa was convenient to market, restaurants and parking. Loved flexibility of multi-level rooms. Kitchen items were very basic.

Tranquil Stay at Casa Chica

There are so many positives staying here. First, the location. The home is conveniently located close to Chollas Market, Oxxo and some good restaurants. Short walk to two pools (one is a lap pool) and easy walk to the beach. Second, the house is well-appointed. Two full master suites with A/C units and TVs in each with full baths including soaking tub as well. We loved the outdoor areas with BBQ gas grill and dining area. So much room to spread out. We'll be back!

Poor host, fair house and wonderful Loreto Bay

Loreto Bay is so uniquely charming that just being there is a five star experience. On the other side, the experience of staying at this particular house was more nuanced. The house itself is nice and fairly priced for what it is. The cleanness is impeccable, showing a five star managerial team. In contrast the host is closer to one star. 1) The house shows much closer to the beach on the map than where it really is; 2) The communication help from the host was zero - the door code was emailed to us only when we landed in Mexico, although I requested it a few days in advance, as I had no way to connect to internet in Mexico before entering the property. I asked and I was ignored. I also asked whether we could check in before 4PM and again - no answer. Finally, I was instructed to call the manager in Mexico, although my phone service does not cover Mexico. Again - the host didn't seem to care. Finally, the door code provided by the host was wrong and fortunately we could get the correct one from the manager, who, again, was wonderful, just like Loreto Bay itself.

Unprofessional property manager

This was an awful stay , the house was the perfect size , conveniently located , had new linens, beds , kitchen amenities (no microwave as advertised as it was in the hot water closet ) and new furniture. All a plus , however it had no hot water the day I arrived , 2nd day and it was only until I contacted VRBO on the 3rd day that the property manager VaCasa started to address no hot water . I contacted the proper manager by, phone , text and email numerous times on the 2nd and 3d day only to be told a different story each time . At one point I was told by the property manager “I’m in Cabo San Lucas , what do you want me to do ?” Another time I was told to wait in the house all day (Monday) for the plumber to arrive and I did only to question at 1:30 pm, when do you think the plumber will arrive ?” I was told they are not coming . It was then I contacted VRBO and a plumber arrived in 2 hours. The plumber fixed the hot water for Monday afternoon and Tuesday but Wednesday morning there was no hot water on the day I have to fly back to France . Monday was the day I was to celebrate my birthday with friends but I spent the day requesting hot water . To add insult to injury the property manager sent me an email Tuesday night requesting help cleaning the house . I have been renting homes in Mexico for 30 years and I’m well experienced when it comes to travel but this experience won the award for do not stay here.

Great Time!

Stayed in FN320 for 28 days. Location of the unit is well located to all the amenities. Unit was very clean and any issues were attended to on a timely basis by the maintenance team. Before we rented it was confirmed there was no toaster/toaster oven or bottled water. To our pleasant surprise there was both. Also there was no mention of a mid stay refresh prior to our renting but again we appreciated this service. The mid level deck with the BBQ (which could use new burners) was well used by us on a daily basis rather than the main living which was quite dark due to a shortage of natural light. All in all a good stay and we certainly would consider renting in the future.

Tranquilidad Total

Muy bonita casa, muy bien equipada y super cómoda, la ubicación excelente. Cerca de la tienda y de la oficina de seguridad, esto nos ayudó mucho al llegar ya que el código que me enviaron no funcionó pero el Sr. José muy amablemente nos apoyo y la Srita. Ethel Villa estuvo al pendiente de nuestra llegada.

Only problem was keypad didn’t work on arrival. Couldn’t get in touch with on site manager until the next day so had to leave the door unlocked when out.

We spent 9 great days here!

This was our third rental home to try in the Loreto Bay Villas development. The location of this home is great and close to the main street where the shops and restaurants are. This home is right next to the Cholla Mini-market which is super convenient when you need to grab a few things. It’s also not very far back from the street which was really great for parking and unloading. It does not have a view of the water because of where it is located, but has a beautiful view of the mountains! The home is basically two apartments stacked on top of each other and is absolutely perfect for two couples with the identical two king beds and huge bathrooms on separate levels. It has a washer and dryer which is super convenient when trying to pack lightly. It has an inner courtyard with two bikes and we were able to store our paddle boards there when we needed to. This rental was great for my husband and I and we stayed for 9 days. It had great internet available on the property. My only critique is that the property’s linens were really getting shabby and could use an upgrade. The towels and sheets were getting pretty old and dingy and the sheets had a lot of bleach stains and we’re all mismatched. The comforter had a bunch of stains on it and was really worn out. Additionally, there were a couple of things that needed to be repaired when we arrived (A/C and a leaky toilet), but the local staff and the vacasa team had them fixed immediately and were incredibly responsive to our requests. We experienced really excellent service! Overall, we felt the property was a great value for the price and very comfortable for us.
