Welcome to the Prairie Rose, our second home and place we love. Each space in this single story home has original items we salvaged from this 100+ year old house. We hope you enjoy your stay and can feel the character and history of this special place.
There are virtually no other homes in Pawhuska that give you the ability to avoid the difficult parking, easily take a break during the day and still offer you the true authentic home experience. If you are coming to Pawhuska this is where you want to be!

Charming & Quaint

My “over seventy year old” high school girl friends & I really enjoyed our stay at your house in Pawhuska. It was cleverly decorated & very comfortable & fashionable. Just a couple of suggestions for safety from us - 1) A handrail by the front steps would be a real help to your “mature” guests & grab bars in the showers would be most helpful. Additionally, the showers floor tiling & grout need more attention from the cleaning crew. The beds & bedding were excellent & the layout of the kitchen Is very good & we enjoyed the patio. Thank you for a lovely stay.

College friends annual getaway

We all loved the look of the property when we first saw the pictures and in person did not disappoint! We came to Pawhuska to experience everything-Pionneer Woman and we loved it all! The moment you open the door, the home is beautiful and open and rooms for each of us! Love it!!!

Beautiful charming home

We had a wonderful stay enjoying Mother/Daughter/Grandaughter time in Pawhuska. The home was exactly as described. Beautiful and clean. We enjoyed the short walk to all the fun Pawhuska shops and restaurants.

Wonderful Experience!

We had a wonderful time in Pawhuska this weekend.This was the cutest house super close to downtown. Very clean and awesome host. We will stay here again!

A great stay in Pawhuska!

This house was a fantastic find. It was clean, welcoming, and had plenty of room for our crew to rest and enjoy each other. Its a quick walk to downtown for shopping and eating and offers a peaceful place to relax.

Clean and comfortable

July 4th perfection!

Our house was so clean and quaint in a quiet neighborhood, just minutes from the Mercantile! The entire weekend was like being in Mayberry! I can’t say enough good things about this home! It was just the cherry on top of a lovely holiday!!

Amazing

This was our annual girls trip, the house and location were amazing. The 100+ year old house was super clean and accommodating for our group, very relaxing and cozy, I would 100% recommend this house for a trip.

Lovely Restoration

This restored house was the perfect setting for our cousin retreat of four in a super quiet neighborhood. There was a bedroom for each with shared bathrooms and living area. The game table on the closed in porch made for a great area to spend the evenings with a little friendly competition. Very clean! We would definitely stay here again!

Great location! Very clean!

Property is as advertised within easy walking distance of downtown. House was very clean and beds quite comfortable. Decorations give house a homey touch. Toiletries in the bathroom would be a nice addition. Overall, great place to stay!

Perfect Place in Pawhuska!

Loved our stay in this amazing house! Everything was bright, open, big and super clean. Decor was perfect and made you feel at home. The short walk to the main square in Pawhuska was wonderful if you didn't want to drive. Highly recommend this stay!

Wonderful!!

Wished we had been able to stay longer! The place was a so cute and comfortable!! There were 4 couples, each had our own beautiful bedrooms! The decorations are so well done. I hope to get back here again sometime!!!

Great location to everything

House is just as it's pictured. The rooms are set up perfectly, 2 beds and 1 bath on each side. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were the most comfortable but just fine for a few night stay. We would stay here again!

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood

Lovely home close to downtown and the PW Mercantile. Quiet neighborhood with minimal traffic. Plenty of space to move around and comfortable seating for everyone in our party of 5. Very clean and well kept home. We look forward to staying here again next year!
