Le Gîte du Château de Jean

An invitation to travel through time, to history and... to a relaxing holiday! Immerse yourself in the incredible history of the Château, destroyed and then rebuilt in the 16th century. Named after this historic building, it was Jean De Jean, Procurator to the Seneschal of Toulouse in 1604, at the time of Capitouls of Toulouse, who undertook the first works, then it was a new buyer, Jean Toulza, who founded the wing where the gîte is located. Marie-Paule and Jean-Jacques, the owners, have been able to breathe new life into this place full of history, and offer you a holiday at the Château! They have kept the old arcades, now present at the top of the stairs of your house, as well as the exposed bricks and beams. Dressed with family furniture, it is the perfect place for a cool holiday! On site, you can swim in the swimming pool and enjoy many hiking trails, in the shade, in the park. You will also be in the heart of the Fronton vineyard, the wine of the people of Toulouse! The Ville Rose is 15 km away, the Calicéo wellness center is 13 km away, the Natura Game leisure park is 8 km away, the Château de Bonrepos-Riquet (inventor of the Canal du Midi) is 15 km away, the forest and golf course of Buzet-sur-Tarn are 10 km away and Albi is 45 km away: plenty to keep you busy during your week of vacation! Gîte on 2 levels: - Ground floor: living room (condemned fireplace), kitchen, separate toilet. - First floor: mezzanine (sofa bed and library), 2 bedrooms each with 1 double bed 160 * 200 cm, shower room, separate toilet. Outside, you will have access to a private terrace with garden furniture, barbecue and relaxation lounge. The swimming pool is shared with the owners, as is the park.
