Welcome to Hemlock House on the shores of Lake Flower in Saranac Lake, NY.

Hemlock is 8 minutes from Mount Pisgah, 30 minutes from Olympic venue Whiteface Mountain, and 55 minutes to Titus Mountain.

Enjoy boats, dock, fire pit & lakefront steps from your front door. Various canoes/kayaks and paddles included w/ rental.

Walk to Saranac Lake or take a short drive to Lake Placid, Whiteface Mt., Keene & the High Peaks for dining, shopping & events.

Hemlock shares 100+ feet of private lakefront w/ an adjoining apartment, Cedar. Hemlock is available for booking months in advance of Cedar to allow guests to book both units. Cedar will be available starting May 2023, and is currently occupied by a permanent tenant.

Cozy Cabin/cottage

Nice spot!! Check in was fairly easy. Comfortable and cozy living area. Bed comfy!! Close to main attractions too.

Peaceful lake house

A cute lake house, within walking distance to town. There is a main road across the lake, so if you are searching for complete silence this isn’t the place for you, but it is beautiful. Also, there is an apartment attached and someone that occupies it, I didn’t catch that in the original listing, so if you are looking for complete privacy, this also isn’t the place for you. I still am giving a great review because it is a beautiful house and area and they allow dogs!

Clean, comfy and convenient

Driveway was true to description. Entryway had a build up of ice that ice melt couldn't take care of.

Lovely cottage but very noisy

This is a very lovely, very rustic cabin on the water. As mentioned by a previous guest the traffic noise is an issue. It is located across a narrow part of the lake which is on a major route to supply Lake Placid. The truck traffic is 24/7 and woke us in the bedrooms on the lake side.The other bedroom adjoins an attached cottage.What was disconcerting was an inside connecting door to that unit and the walls are so thin the tenants comings and goings were disturbing.The lakefront property is beautiful with lots of chairs and fire pits. If you are looking for a peaceful interlude in the Adirondacks this is not the place but if you want to be close to the village, this is it.

Cute house on the water

We had a nice relaxing stay at the Hemlock House. It has a cozy cabin feel and the beds were comfortable. The view of the water is so nice. Thank you for adding to our fun trip.

Great Stay

We stayed for 5 nights and had a wonderful time. The location was great, we were close to town and an easy drive to lake placid and surrounding areas for hiking and sightseeing. Property was exactly what we were looking for and we could even bring our pup which was an added bonus.

Beautiful Fall Stay!

We went up for a couple nights to enjoy the fall foliage. This place is absolutely perfect! Everything on one level which was great for my parents. Home was immaculate. Beds were super comfortable. The lakeview from the deck was gorgeous. Going back in the spring! Loved it!

Beautiful cabin

This is a great little cabin! We stayed in the winter and the fireplace is such a treat! Three great bedrooms and an amazing location. We will have to return in the summer!

Great cabin on the water

Was a great place to stay, loved waking up looking out to the lake. Appreciated the flexibility to allow our college student to stay with us for Easter when she originally planned to stay in her dorm! The house was clean and we loved the gas fireplace with the chillier weather, super cozy!

Saranac Lake Getaway

The property is in town but feels a little secluded at end of driveway. The building has an old camp feel with nicely upgraded kitchen and bath. Very comfortable for a getaway.

The house was cozy and well-stocked with everything we needed.

The house was very close to town which we hadn’t expected based on the photos. It would definitely be great as a summer rental in order to walk to restaurants, etc.

Comfortable & Updated

We were very happy with our stay at the Hemlock cabin. The kitchen, bathrooms, etc. were very nice and updated. The largest bedroom felt like a comfortable hotel room. We would definitely rent again!

Great time at Flower Lake

We had a great time! The house was amazingly clean. There were 5 adults and we all had plenty of room. But the best part was the private yard, dock and most important the beautiful lake!

Great Lakeside Getaway

We loved this cozy cabin! Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, easy access to the lake, were all great. The house is located close to town, with plenty of places being a nice walk away. There's a lot to do within a close drive as well. Groceries are conveniently located on the drive into town. We loved getting ice cream from Mountain Mist.

Winter getaway

We had a great stay at this cozy cabin on the lake. The cabin was very clean and spacious. The beds were super comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location in Saranac Lake was very close to the Main Street shops and restaurants. We were also close to many hiking trails and other towns such as Tupper Lake and Lake Placid were within a 20-30 minute drive.
