Recently updated and redecorated, with all the comforts of home, this adorable vintage cabin makes you feel like you've stepped back in time! There is a queen bed in each bedroom, and the bathroom has a shower/tub combo. Kick back in the living room to watch a good movie on the mounted flatscreen TV. You'll be less than a block from the go-carts and mini-golf. Use the free WiFi to research a new outdoor adventure then take advantage of the nearby resort-side activities.

THINGS TO KNOW
Seasonal bbqs are available from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. BBQs are propane and tanks are provided. We strongly encourage you to review your tank level in the morning and if a replacement is needed please reach out to your local contact for a tank replacement.
No fires or fire pits are ever allowed due to the heavy timbered area and county restrictions.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Great rustic cabin. Very homey and comfortable beds. Would gladly rent again.

The location is walking distance to everything. House sits back off road. We enjoyed the front of house for family visiting.

Cute little rustic cabin!

My sister and I stayed for four nights. The cabin was cute and rustic. The beds were very comfortable. Water pressure in shower was better than most places we have stayed in but the hot water runs out pretty quickly.

Better than other places I've stayed

This is a quaint cabin that is walking distance to the lake and other activities. It was so easy to talk to the folks if I had a question while there. Fully furnished, kitchen was great, beds were SO comfortable. Sitting room has movies and a small TV. The floors "creaked" but personally it brought back memories. I'd recommend this to anyone, with or without kids.

Wallowa getaway

Husband and I brought brother from Texas to see the beauty of Eastern Oregon. The cabin was perfect. Had everything we needed. Saw lots of wildlife and hiked every day. Nice and cozy for all of us. Roku works perfectly and was great in the evening after a day of fishing and hiking.

Rustic but comfortable

The cabin is a comfy, rustic cabin that lends itself well to adventurers that aren't into sitting around and watching TV. (Which is good... because we never found the Roku remote). The bathroom was small but clean and the bed was probably the most comfortable I've ever been in. I felt like the cleaning fee was pretty ridiculous and a little hidden in the listing. But, overall, it's a sweet little cabin in a SUPER sweet, safe, enjoyable area with fun things to see a do.

Limited Hot Water

The property was located near all of the activities that my wife and I wanted to see. The only downside to this rental was that the hot water heater only worked for about a five minute shower before turning ice cold. Then it took an hour for the next person to get a five minute shower, and again, the water became immediately ice-cold.

Nice little cabin

Short version: good enough busy very close to go-kart track. Overall this was a nice rental. It was hard to find as they didn’t include a unit number in the address or description and many of these units look alike. I had forgotten what the unit looked like and the cell service wasn’t good enough to download the pictures. We finally tracked it down via the wifi signal haha. The only real drawback to this rental is that it is very close to the go-kart track which is active fairly late (past 9pm) Otherwise everything was as good as it goes for a little old cabin in the woods.

Worst mis-represented place we've ever stayed

Terrible, in immediate need of updates. Only one plug in kitchen, you have to move microwave to plug in coffee maker, then move coffee maker to plug in toaster, ridiculous. No cupboard available to put away groceries. Only one closet in whole cabin that was already filled up with linen. Bathroom is a disaster. Bath tub is a fall risk waiting to happen. To say nothing of the go-carts next door!!!

Location is great, improvements needed

This property is perfectly located for all Wallowa Lake has to offer. We walked or biked everywhere we wanted to go. Other reviews mentioned the noise of the go-cart track but we have been to the area several times so it wasn't an issue. Keep in mind this is an older cabin so lacking in electrical outlets. You need to get creative in order to use small appliances in the kitchen. No saute pans provided. As stated in the listing this is a pet friendly unit and, unfortunately, it smells like it. The living room furniture desperately needs to be replaced. Some type of shelving in the bathroom would be beneficial. The 4 star rating is the awesome location.

Hiking adventure

My partner and I had a lovely three nights in the cabin. It was beautifully clean and stocked with everything we needed for a getaway. The cadet heaters kept us warm at night, and we spent the days outside enjoying the fall sunshine! What a perfect escape. Thanks to the folks who maintain this property- we can’t wait to return.

Good location is the best thing about this place

The place was clean (rugs have never been washed) and orderly. however the place is very old and wore out. No insulation in the place. No air conditioning, no fans. You could set in a living room and look through the crack of the board and see daylight. This is not a place at I'll ever rent again. Tried to use my tablet but to many bugs landing on the screen. For that kind of money, I expected a lot more. It's an old wore out cabin dump.

Nice rustic cabin

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The cabin was very comfortable and located close to the shops, tram and restaurants. It was nicely furnished with all the amenities, especially appreciated the hair dryer and measuring cup.
