This two-story log cabin home has a five-seater hot tub cleaned weekly, double deck lounging patio with expansive views of the Mountains. Enjoy the gas fire pit from the cozy secluded patio or the wood burning firepit on site with wood logs prepared for your stay.
Location could not be any better, this home is secluded at the top of the mountain with views galore! Only 1 mile from Beech Mountain country club and ski slopes. Town has free sledding hill and snow tubbing.
If you enjoy fishing, check out Buckeye lake and recreation center. The lake is fully stocked for trout fishing and is only 3 miles away. Boat rentals are available and so many hiking trails to choose from in the area.
Blue Bear Cabin boasts 2600 sf of living space. This three-bedroom home has many areas for relaxing. First floor offers an area to entertain or hang with the family. Get cozy on the sofa and enjoy the glow of the gas fireplace while watching a movie on the 65 inch smart tv, or dabble with some friends playing pool on the solid slate table.
Feeling hungry, head up to the second level and entertain in the open kitchen fully stocked for ease kitchen. Enjoy the picturesque views of the mountains from the large windows.
Step out onto the covered deck for some ambiance and turn on the gas fire pit for relaxation and lounge reading a good book sipping coffee. Feeling up to grilling out? No problem we have a gas grill on site for the person that wants to cook at home. All propane is provided by us, last thing you want to think about is having to grab a propane tank.
Inside there is a second fireplace and large eating area boasting exposed pine tongue and groove vaulted ceilings. The dining room holds a 7-foot table to make game night more enjoyable. All games and puzzles have been stocked for you and your family. So, no need on packing them.
Two king size bedrooms are located on the second floor one with master on-suite. Both rooms are fully furnished with high-end bedding and walk in closets.
The third bedroom has the same luxury bedding but set up with two sets of bunk beds located on off the rec room. Need extra sleeping space? No problem, there is a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room equipped with a gel memory foam mattress. This home comfortably sleeps 10 but sleeping bags welcome if you are trying to squeeze a few extra kids in. 😊
Lastly, we understand that sometimes work calls. We have the home on WIFI delivered by a 100-meg fiber connection. There is a desk and chair set up for workspace if you need to dive in to finish up something at the office.
If you want to leave the mountain for some fun things to do there is always tubing and ziplining at Hawks Nest. Or if you are looking for a winery one is right in town at Benner Elk. There is so much to do or so little depending on your prospective.
Either way staying at Blue Bear Cabin you just have to worry about outfits you need to bring.

Quiet and peaceful. Views and wildlife to enjoy, plenty of Skiing, hiking trails and off road biking. 1 mile to lifts, tubing, brewery, golf and Winery's.

Be sure if you are visiting in the winter and snow season to have 4 wheel drive or snow ect button in your car. Getting around the mountains in the winter is difficult if you car is 2 wheel drive.

Home fully equipped and ready to enjoy as you walk in the door
No shoes or ski boots in the house.

Please take the trash to bins on the street and put the flag up. Any trash left out on a patio or in the home may be subject to a fine.


Load dishes in the dishwasher before leaving. Please turn it on so the cycle can start.

Please ensure all fireplaces are turned off with the switch on the wall.

Pets are welcome on a case-by-case basis with pre-approval. There is a $175 pet fee for additional cleaning.
Please be sure to contact us to discuss the dog. We do not allow puppies or cats. We are allergic to cats.

This home is a nonsmoking home. a $250 fee could be assessed if smoking took place in the home for a deep woodwork/carpet cleaning.
