Spring visit

We went to visit our daughter who is a student at Lees-McRae. Great location, gorgeous views, easy parking at the door to our condo. Quick to get to downtown Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountain and more.

Beautiful slopeside view

Property was clean and beautiful slopside view on Sugar Mountian. Beds were very comfortable. Very nice layout and efficient use of space. Individual towel racks in bathrooms were useful. Washer/drayer worked very well. Good communication to make access to property hassle free.

Beautiful views

The Banner Elk area is beautiful. The convenience to skiing is great. There should be more attention to detail with regard to cleanliness. We enjoying using the clubhouse amenities. Great sauna, hot tub and heated, indoor pool.

Would rent again

This renovated home is beautifully done and comfortable. Great layout, nice view and wonderful amenities. The cleaning of the kitchen and bathrooms could be improved upon.

Great location

Perfect spot to ski in/out. Beds were comfy, showers were hot, everything was nice and comfy. Some pots and pans were still dirty when we went to use them.

Amazing NC Ski Trip

We had a great time and liked this modern and cozy ski in & out condo. I would definitely consider coming here again. We didn’t get to spend much time at the country club amenities but that seemed pretty nice addition. Only hick up was the code to enter didn’t work and we were stuck at the door for a while before they couldn’t help us. Also there were only 3 towels and I had to beg for more since we had 7 guests and they finally brought us more. Overall a great place and in a great location.

Upsides and downsides

So it's worth noting that my wife and I disagreed on how much we liked the place.Heating is separate floor radiators, so it takes a little adjusting to get right, which I'm completely fine with, but wife would have strongly preferred central air with a thermostat.Snowblowers might be running outside, which is white noise to me, but bugged the wife.It's a Vacasa property, which has its pluses and minuses. On the plus side, you get 24/7 instant responsiveness through text, which is great. On the downside you get some slightly silly corporate artifacts like a 10-digit door code no one could possibly memorize.

Great mountain getaway

What a beautiful place to enjoy the mountains! The decor was beautiful and the balcony was the perfect resting spot to enjoy cooler temperatures. We loved staying here. Everything we needed for a great vacation. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, and great amenities. Would definitely stay here again.

Sugar Ski 226

The condo was clean and comfortable for a party of six. Four adults and two kids. The unit is located at the top of Oma's Meadow ski slope next to the ski lift. The slope is rated blue and pretty steep so keep that in mind if you are looking for a ski in - ski out like we were. Since we are beginner skiers, we opted to drive down to the base and use the beginner slopes the first couple of days. It only takes about 5 minutes to drive down to the ski lodge. Before our 4 day trip was over, we were skiing down and riding the lift up to Oma's Meadow. The ski lodge offers breakfast, lunch and dinner if you don't feel like leaving the slopes.
