Om boendet

Lägenheten ligger ovanför en säkerhets Showroom mittemot St. Marys sjukhus (där Prince George nyligen född!) och bara en minuts promenad från Paddington Station.

Det finns flera trappor att klättra efter att genom ytterdörren så tillgång till funktionshindrade eller äldre kan vara begränsad.

När ni kommer till lägenheten kommer att välkomnas av de kaklade terrakottagolv, stora takfönster och exponerade tegelvägg i vardags / matrum. En kompakt, men välutrustat kök väntar dig också. Detta har nyligen renoverats.
Det finns också en liten takterrass för grillning eller solbad (om vädret tillåter). Rökning är begränsad till detta område!

Också på första våningen i etagevåning finns ett badrum med dusch och ett stort sovrum som omfattar 4 enkelsängar. Av särskilt intresse är utsmyckade gasspis. De stora panoramafönster vetter ut mot upptagen, kosmopolitiska Praed Street.

Upp en trappa du kommer att hitta ytterligare tre sovrum, badrum och ett verktyg garderob, där tvättmaskin och torktumlare finns. Två av sovrummen är medelstora och inredda med dubbelsängar, medan den tredje är mycket mindre och har våningssängar. De flesta rum är utrustade med klockradio och hårtork. Golv på den övre nivån är hårda med undantag för badrummet som har svart och vitt kakel.

Infälld belysning är med i hela lägenheten. Det finns centralvärme men ingen luftkonditionering även i fallet med en värmebölja kommer vi att ge fläktar.

Vår hushållerska, Maria S., finns tillgänglig på begäran för extra städning (på egen bekostnad). Hon lever mycket i närheten så kan kallas om några problem skulle uppstå.

Great place to stay for a family

We stayed here with our teenaged kids and my parents and it was the perfect place to stay for the 6 of us. Great, central location making it a good home base for getting around all areas of London. The space is a bit dated, but still a great place to stay.

Great location!

The space was very nice. Bathrooms were very comfortable, bedrooms were nice and had fans in each room. The kitchen worked for our minimal needs and the TV room was nice for watching the Olympics. For me, the best part was the location. Being next to the hospital, close to Hyde Park, tons of restaurant and shop options right outside the door, and Paddington station was great for the Underground and Heathrow Express. There is also a hop on hop off bus tour stop right around the corner that serviced a few of the different companies. Adrienne was very easy to communicate with and supportive as well. Thanks!

Great Spot! Highly Recommend!

My partner & our 4 kids (ranging in age from 10-16) found the flat to be a great fit in a very convenient location - walkable to great spots like Hyde Park/Kensington Gardens and easy access to public transportation at Paddington Station. We had a great time and highly recommend staying with Adrienne.

Outstanding location, quality, and host!

My wife, daughter (her, husband, 4 kids 8-14), and I stayed for a week at this flat and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The flat was in excellent condition with all amenities in full order per the VRBO listing. The flat is located just 3 minutes walk from Paddington Station, which made it extremely convenient to use the train, Tube, and buses. Lots of nearby food shops, coffee shops, and restaurants (we highly recommend F&B). Adrienne was one of the best hosts I have ever encountered. She made the rental process very simple and was always prompt to reply to any questions. Fair warning: you do need to climb 2-1/2 flights of steps and there is no elevator. This was no problem for any of us. The best recommendation I can give is that when it was time to leave, my 8 year old grand-daughter asked if we could just buy the flat and move here because she liked it so much.

Perfect location and amenities!

Four of us came for a weekend of football, and the location could not have been more perfect! Steps from Paddington Station (Heathrow Express, Paddington Tube stop) and surrounded by coffee shops, pubs and restaurants. We all had our own bedroom, with plenty of space and a common area to gather at night to swap stories. The flat was clean and perfectly suited our needs. Adrienne was a great host and we appreciated her pre-visit communication. Five star rating all the way and we just might have to make this an annual trip!

Paddington central

Location, location, location. You can’t beat this location. As long as you can walk up two flights of stairs, this location is perfect. Across the street from Paddington station and St Mary’s hospital. Never too noisy even though centrally located. Enough space for two families, six kids and four adults. We were able to take the tube everywhere. The station was only one block away from this flat. Great corner pub at the end of the block and a bakery close by too. Easy check in with punch code key pad and lock box for keys. No air conditioning. Fortunately the London weather held under 80 F and fans were provided. Windows were kept open to keep cool. Not too much street noise despite being across from the hospital. Would recommend to large groups.

Great flat for our group of 7

This property was perfect for our family group of 7. It was clean and though sparsely appointed, had most everything we needed during our week stay. The host was accessible and checked on us a time or two during the week. Your group all need to be able to climb the 39 steps up but beyond that it was a great, convenient place to stay during our week in London.

Short visit to London

We visited London for four days. In total we were eight people - 4 kids and four adults. The location was perfect and the response by the owners over a small problem was quickly resolved. We would absolutely stay here again!

Logement agréable au centre de Londres

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans ce logement. Confortable, lumineux et bien équipé. L'emplacement en face de la gare de Paddington est idéale pour découvrir Londres. Arrêt de bus juste en face, métro à 2 pas. Commerces, restaurant, pub, tout accessible dans le quartier. Et à 10 minutes à pied le magnifique Hyde Park. Merci a Adrienne pour la communication rapide et efficace. Tout s'est très bien passé.

Great location!

This is a great spot for group looking for a be out and about in London - easy access to the tube, easy to-and-from Heathrow. Amenities are basic, but we were looking to stay in at any point in time. Nice to be two floors with two full bathrooms.

Wonderful Location and Space!

This is a quick walk from Paddington station. It made our Heathrow arrival very easy to get to the flat. Although there was massive construction on the street directly out front. The beds are neat, it was spacious. The flat was clean. It was adequately stocked. We did have to stop for toilet paper as one roll only in each toilet. But this was a wonderful quick getaway.

Perfect location for a short visit

Location was great, only 20 minutes by Train from Heathrow and 5 minutes walk to multiple metro lines. Recommended for a short visit because the noice from the street might get annoying after some nights.

perfect location and spacious!

The location could not have been more perfect, a breeze to get from Heathrow on the Heathrow Express and then a 3 min walk to the flat. The stairs did not bother us going to/from the apartment once we located the light switches! The apartment is spacious and was perfect for the 2 families we had staying there (4 adults and 4 kids). The bathrooms are updated and showers worked well. The kitchen was well-stocked. The living room furniture is a little tired but we weren't in the apartment that much for it to matter to us. Plenty of shops, restaurants all around this apartment. Would definitely stay again!

Modest place in convenient location

Because we are a family of six, our priority was to find a place near public transportation and with two bathrooms. This flat well fit our needs and we appreciated the spaciousness. It is literally one block from Paddington Station. We used public transportation for our entire week in London. And we appreciated the convenience of two bathrooms. All of our minimum needs were met. The neighborhood is quite busy, as expected in the bustle of a large city. Many small markets nearby with a larger one a few blocks away. Many restaurants nearby from fast food to full service. Our favorite stop was a lovely little cafe just a couple doors from the flat called Bonne Bouche. Absolutely delightful! However, this is not a luxury accommodation. The 39 steps it takes to reach the third floor flat is dingy and unwelcoming. While I expected an older building, the worn furniture and linens were disappointing. We had a hard time understanding that a water compartment in the dryer needed to be emptied after each load. But we're from the US so it may just be our misunderstanding. Overall, a modest accommodation in a very convenient location.

Great accommodation

Overall an excellent property. Communication with owner was excellent and very prompt. Location is fantastic as it is only 1 block from the underground and rail station. I would recommend this property!

Very nice flat in a great location

We had a larger group and found the two flats to be a great place to stay. Very near the train and tube . Also near Hyde Park and many pubs, shops and restaurants.
