Nice place

This is a very nice place to stay. Close to the Brenner children’s hospital, restaurants and shopping. The host was awesome and answered any message quickly and very helpful. Would recommend staying here.

Trash Pile and Host was MIA

Rented house due to proximity to Baptist Hospital. Upon arrival at 7:00PM (4:00 check in time advertised) the house was still being cleaned. There was also a trash can in the driveway that was overflowing with trash and another 15 bags of trash piled against the house. Calls to the host went unanswered and the voicemail was full and could not accept any messages. Messages through the VRBO app also went without a response for nearly 2 days. The sofa in the living room is damaged and there were multiple light burned out throughout the house. The house is very dates but it was clean (although not for mote than 3+ hours after the advertised check in time.) We elected to leave early rather than stay for the last night that we reserved. The host responded very promptly to questions prior to making the reservation but was MIA thereafter. Bottom line, the property needs attention and the host does not appear interested in providing any customer service once the fee is paid.

Great weekend stay!

My family and I stayed here for a conference at the Benton Convention Center. Quentin made our check-in and check-out process very easy! The house was clean and welcoming. The back yard was perfect for our dog to stretch his legs. Everybody was very comfortable and anything we needed was a 5-minute drive away! Would definitely stay here again when we go to the conference next year!

Frustrating

We unloaded all our stuff and then discovered the house was overrun with mice. There was even mouse poop on the bed sheets. Also found dried dog poop and urine in the lower level by the laundry room. We had to call VRBO Customer Service to demand to be moved to a different property. They were very helpful and resolved the issue. This house needs to be deep cleaned and the mice exterminated prior to renting. I would check on that prior to paying and confirming a reservation

Birthday celebration weekend getaway

Our family had a weekend trip planned to celebrate my father’s 75th birthday so I brought my adult son and ten year old twin daughters and we had plenty of room in this quaint 3 bedroom upfit home. We have rented from Mr West in the past and his properties always impress!

Second stay

This was a second stay at this property and, overall, we had a good stay. The property is in a nice, quiet neighborhood with easy access to restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, downtown Winston-Salem, etc. My grandchildren were attending an acting camp at UNCSA and it was very easy to drive them back and forth to camp. The house is small but was adequate for us. It was clean and had most of the necessary amenities. We reported an issue with a broken chair and the property manager responded promptly to our question/concern. We would stay here again.

Excellent and close to everything!

Our stay at this home was great! It is close to everything you need and so comfy! We felt safe and the area was very quiet. The beds were very very comfortable and there was plenty of space for us to spread out. We will definitely stay here again when we return!

Do not stay here

We walked into the house smelling like weed so bad you could get contact high. Beds were slept in and not made, had stuff on the sheets. Nothing was clean, all lights were left on like the people had just ran out before we got there. Now they won’t refund our money!

Great cozy home

This home is a great little place with a very short drive to downtown Winston-Salem. Everything was clean. The beds are comfortable. Bring your own trash bags and paper towls though if you want to keep it clean. We left the rolls we bought for the next visitors. Other than that, the home was great!

Acting camp

My sister and I stayed here for 5 days with two of my grandchildren who were attending Acting Camp at UNCSA. Overall, the stay was great, mainly because the house is in a nice neighborhood and in a location that made getting my grands to and from Camp a simple process and accessing grocery stores, restaurants, etc. quick and easy. The house itself was small but more than adequate for 2 kids and 2 adults. The house was clean and had all the necessary amenities (linens, dishes, utensils, kitchen supplies, etc.). The yard was well-maintained and we spent time relaxing on the front stoop and in the yard. The only downside was the lack of towel racks/hooks in the bathroom and lack of chests of drawers (even small ones) in the bedrooms. We would stay here again!

Comfortable home

I stayed here with my sister while I was in town to move my elderly aunt into a nursing home. Location was convenient, home was clean and comfortable. Too busy to really use kitchen but it was well equipped. Owner was great and communicated promptly!! Thanks.

Family visit

We stayed at this wonderful home for a visit with family. The house was exactly as advertised. The cleanliness was superb! Location was excellent; close to everything. The owner was quick to respond if needed. We would stay here again and recommend this property to anyone looking for a lovely stay in Winston Salem!

Perfect for our needs

It was a perfect little house for its vicinity to wherever we want to go. Fully stock kitchen. It was clean and suitable for our needs. Grateful we were able to bring our dogs. Fenced in back yard. For these fall nights, a fire pit would be awesome.
