No communication-ruined vacation no refund yet!!

Upon arriving we were refused admittance to site by security, host contacted stating pipe burst-no apology, and no refund to DATE!!!! stay away!!!!

Everything thing was wrong with this property. It was a dump. Bedbugs in both beds. Filthy room. TV didn't work. Deadbolt on door and slider didn't lock. Balcony railing was loose and dangerous. Room 3306

I mostly prefer this end of hotel zone as it’s less crowded. The bus makes it convenient to reach the main area easily. There isn’t many food options on this end of hotel zone. It would be helpful if the room I stayed in has a working hot plate or a way to cook.

The Apartment is part of the larger complex ( Cancun plaza condo ) We loved it ! Clean lovely apartment with views of the pool. Perfect position in the hotel zone. I was a little worried about communication after reading a review . I contacted the host via what’s app and had no issues at all . Would definitely stay again.

I booked & paid Feb 28. Apr 5th, I messaged the host asking for the direct address to make shuttle arrangements and if we could check in early. A week goes by & no response. I read the fine print and it says I will receive the check-in information 3 days prior to check-in. Now its 3 days before check-in and I still don't have the info. I call Vrbo and she tells me I’m not considered a stranded guest until it 48 hours before my stay and I have no response from the host. SO, I call back the next day and the guy tells me I’m not considered a stranded guest until its 24 hours before my stay, check-in is at 3 pm and its 10 am. WTH! As we’re on the phone the host decides to respond. I ask for a refund, because at this point is it even a real property? This guy never answered the messages from April 5th! He tells me no and to contact the app. Since he ended up responding- last minute- we couldn’t get or money back! We stayed, and it is a real property, as advertised. Thank God! The location is on the beach in the Cancun Plaza, which is a building of condos. The beach was clean, and we had a beautiful view from the room. Ours (2308) had rock hard beds, no hand soap and stained (yet clean) sheets. I took a risk on this property as it only had 2 reviews when I booked for April 2023. This is definitely a one-night stay option. The hosts lack of communication and Vrbo’s dumb 24hr stranded guest policy will keep me from booking in the future.

Nous n'avons passé qu'une nuit dans ce logement. Étant arrivés tard (on a cherché un bon moment avant d'y arriver car je n'avais pas fait attention au nom de la résidence!) et partis tôt (avion à reprendre), nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la piscine ou de la plage (en plus temps maussade). L'appartement est sinon agréable et la vue très belle. Bon prix pour le secteur
