The most beautiful room.
Do you see the pictures? They are exactly precise. It's a beautiful room with very high ceilings, statues, ornaments and enormous mirrors. The apartment is right around the corner from the train station (which I really liked, by the way--there's mist, there's a piano, there are restaurants, and a history/art exhibit on important resisters from all over the world). It's across the street from a school and behind a wall. Once you enter, you will see an untamed garden. The apartment stays cool even during the scorching day. The bathroom is the price you pay for this extraordinary room, though. It is impossible to take a shower without banging some part of your body and without "making friends with" the shower head cord. It's teeny-tiny, but the showerhead itself is relaxing. As a single traveler, I didn't mind the tiny bathroom--I could keep the door open. I like to sing, so the acoustics in the room were great because of the high ceilings. The communication with the host was at first confusing--not enough information was given about how and where to retrieve the key. (A stranger helped me figure that puzzle out.). After that, however, there were no more communication problems. In fact, the host sent a friend to welcome me with cookies and to help if there were any more questions. We continued to communicate easily through WhatsApp.
