We loved the fact that the host had everything and more that we needed. All the rooms were immaculate and spacious including the pool and lanai area. We hope to return in the future.

The Mackarosa was a beautiful and clean property with plenty of room for our group of 6. We had 4 kids - 17, 16, 12, and 8 who all loved the pool and the bedrooms. We ate breakfast, lunch, and a few dinners at the house and found the kitchen to be extremely well-stocked with plates, silverware, pans, serving dishes, etc. Having a washer and dryer was huge for us because we were able to pack clean clothes to go home and stay on top of towel usage while we were there (they provided plenty of towels for our crew). All basic supplies were provided and we so appreciated that all of our needs were met while there. The neighborhood was quiet and restaurants and stores were a quick drive. We visited all sorts of places during our stay - from Disney to Sanibel - and had a great time exploring. Definitely recommend the quick drive to Tarpon Springs to visit the Sponge Docks or heading out to Clearwater to see all the excitement there. This was a great location away from the crazy of a bigger more touristy spot. Thanks for providing such a wonderful home within budget for a large family.

The house and its fitments were ideal plus the area is pleasant. We now call it our second home , after several visits. One suggestion that we would make is for two more sun beds. We were four adults this time.

They thought of everything!

Beautiful home, very clean. They literally had everything there that you need for a day at the beach or lounging at the pool. Great outdoor space! Very family friendly especially for little ones. They had the essentials like soap, toilet paper, spf, coffee, laundry stuff…everything! I highly recommend this property!

Tolles Ferienhaus

Wie hatten super drei Wochen im Haus. Alles war top, Haus war perfekt ausgestattet. Es war sauber und alles hat funktioniert. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren um die Ecke einzig der Salzwasserpool war etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber nach 2 Tagen hatten wir uns dran gewöhnt. Strand in Clearwater ca eine Std. fahrt . Vermieter hat auf unsere Anfragen sehr schnell reagiert und uns dadurch geholfen. Alles in allem ein super, toller Urlaub.

Relaxation in the sun!

This home has everything you need, the owners are great to work with. The cleanest rental we have stayed in. The location is central to everything we like to do and see. Not far from the gulf also close to great golf courses!

Great Home

We stayed here for a long weekend and the home is really nice - very clean which the wife loved and updated furniture. The patio is spacious and the kids enjoyed the pool.If I were to make one addition, I would add instructions on how to use the TV. I could not find the local channels to watch the College and NFL games on Fox, ABC, NBC and the host didn’t know how to find them. We will definitely rent this house again.

Wonderful

Our stay was wonderful! Outstanding house, very clean and well decorated. The beds were very comfortable. The patio area and pool were wonderful. Lovely and relaxing neighborhood. Very friendly and attentive host. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the utensils we needed. We would definitely visit again!

Just perfect

Our family of 5 adults enjoyed our time very much here. After seeing the listing I knew this was the one. It looked amazing online and it was in person. This is a high quality home with great space, furnishings and amenities. It wasn't missing a thing. It has a nice garage with a remote garage door opener.

Beautiful Home! WELL stocked! Great location!

My wife and I stayed for 5 nights. Beautiful house, super clean, stocked with everything you need, clean and warm pool. They even had items to use at the beach like umbrellas, chairs, beat bag, coolers, toys, and golf Clubs etc. We will definitely be returning to the Mackarosa!

We had a wonderful time at the house. This house was so beautiful and well stocked. Kids that visited had a wonderful time in the pool. We grilled out and caught up with family and friends. Recommend to stay here, hosts were wonderful. Thanks for letting us stay at your home.

Definitely will book here again

The house was gorgeous and very clean. Everything we needed and more was available at the house. We enjoyed the pool everyday of our stay. Neighbors were very friendly. They stopped to chat, let our family let their dogs and one even gave my husband aloe from his own plant growing outside. This was my families first trip to Florida and we'll definitely be back to stay at this amazing home away from home.

Marvelous Mackarosa

"Marvelous" isn't a word I use often, but here it applies. My wife insisted on a house with a private pool and after searching available properties, Mackarosa sounded best so we reserved a weeklong stay. Great decision. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our time there from the quietness of the neighborhood and overall cleanliness of the house, to the convenience to local eateries and our friends, and especially that pool. Even when not in the water, just sitting by it is relaxing and makes for an enjoyable morning/afternoon/evening. Next time we visit, we'll make every effort to stay at Mackarosa again.

Perfect Home in the Perfect Place

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your wonderful home. As soon as we walked in the door we could smell the cleanliness. I don't think I've ever stayed in a such a well maintained rental home. In person, the place is even better than the pictures. Your home was able to accommodate every need we had and it was located right in the middle of every where we needed to go. Thank you again! Can't wait to stay again the next time we come to town.

Fantastic. Macarosa villa

We love staying at the Macarosa Villa. It’s a fantastic home and well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is in a nice peaceful area and the best thing for us is that it is situated just around the corner from our American friends. The couple who look after the property are always there to help with any problems and are very friendly. This was our second stay and will be returning again to this lovely property
