This newly remodeled, four bedroom LAKESIDE HOME with gorgeous sunsets is in a fantastic location. Situated half way between Sault Ste. Marie and St. Ignace, it is the perfect gathering spot to enjoy all that the Upper Peninsula has to offer. The property has a large yard and is located on a private lake. This home sits 1 mile from the Chippewa County Airport and is only a 15 mile from the Soo Locks. For the winter months, it is conveniently located within a few hundred yards of some of the best snowmobiling trails in the Upper Peninsula!

Lakeside stay

Our family stayed for six days and used the paddle boats to do a ton of fishing. Spacious house with games for the kids to play.A central area if you are planning on visiting Soo Locks or Mackinac Island.A charcoal grill was available and a fire pit (bring your own wood as it’s hard to find wood for sale in the area).Host was responsive to our needs during the stay.

Very nice updated open concept, 4 bedroom home with a great view of lake.Fully furnished kitchen with everything you would need for your stay. Decorated tastefully! Very happy with our stay and the communication was very good. Highly recommend and would stay here again on our next trip to the area.

Winter Vacation

We had a wonderful stay at this vacation home! The house was spotless upon arrival, making us feel comfortable and welcomed right away. Getting together with Grandpa

It was a central location for a shooting competition that the whole family participated in. The house was big enough to accommodate all of us. House is handicapped accessible for grandpa and lots to do for the great grandkids.

Perfect House for our families

This was a wonderful experience. Great location and everything we needed for an extended weekend in the UP. Only suggestion is to bring a sound machine if you are putting kids to bed earlier than the adults as the walls in the house are very thin. Our 8 year old asked if we could come back in the summer to enjoy the lake :-)

Amazing views..

It was a very well maintained home, property was super clean.. The views over the lake are amazing especially watching the sunset every night.. The house stayed very cool with the concrete floors and the home is so spacious it fit are family perfectly.. The only downfall is the mosquitoes at night makes it hard to enjoy a bonfire.. Will definitely rent this home again.. Thanks Mike and Ashley..

The property is very well kept also clean, and has everything you will need..

We had a blast at the lake house enjoyed the beautiful sunset over the water looks amazing.. It’s so relaxing there nice and quiet and neighbors are very respectable.. We enjoyed grilling burgers and brats on the grill and watching people fish and kayaking around the lake.. Also got a glimpse of the beaver swimming around in the lake.. The house got pretty hot this year would suggest central air besides that had a amazing trip.. Will rent again for next year.. Thanks Mike and Ashley

Mosquitoes

The property was really nice except for the mosquitoes. We arrived after dark and the bugs just followed us into the house. Did not communicate with property manager.

We think this is the best rental in the area.

The house is spacious and comfortable. We have rented alot of houses over the years. This house is one we rented last year, this year and plan on next year. The location is great. It is quiet and the lake is awesome. I agree with others that there are a couple things like a step outside the sliding door and maybe some finish molding on the floor but those are such minor things. Overall it is a great house to spend time if you want to just hang out.It is very clean which is very important to me. Michael and Ashley are really nice and ready to jump on any issues that might come up. I don't think you can ask for much more. Thanks Michael and Ashley!! Don and Cindy N

We were a group of four women and loved the set up with the bedrooms and bathrooms. Very spacious. Great appliances, beautiful decor, wonderful view. Excellent communication with host. 1.5 miles from the airport which was handy for a very early flight. Thank you Vanessa, for sharing your home
