Open Concept 4 Bedroom Cottage, Just Steps Away From South Shore Beach

Come and stay at our large open concept, 4 bedroom cottage on a one acre lot overlooking the ocean. Enjoy amazing views and unforgettable sunsets on our wrap around deck that is over 1,000 square feet. This lovely summer home is fully equipped with all the amenities you need including a large living area, full kitchen, washer/dryer, BBQ, ping pong room (in case it rains) and a fire pit. Two of the bedrooms have patio doors opening onto the deck. The large master bedroom also features an en-suite bathroom and large walk-in closet. The fully equipped kitchen is appointed with fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, cutlery, dishes and linens. The cottage also has lots of indoor and outdoor open space for the kids to play.

The beach is only approximately 100 steps away from the edge of the yard, so you will have the freedom to come back and forth from the cottage as you please. The beach has PEI’s famous red sand and is safe for young and old. You can walk for miles on the beach at low tide with shallow tidal pools for the kids to play in. On your strolls you will encounter star fish, often see seals sunbathing on the rocks in the distance, and can try your luck digging for clams on the sand bars. You can wade, swim, or just lie back, sunbathe and enjoy the sun and water. After a fun day at the beach you will be ready to wind down with a home cooked meal in the large eat in kitchen or patio and then enjoy roasted marshmallows over the fire pit as the sun sets over the water.

The cottage is located in Argyle Shore on the beautiful south shore of PEI, minutes from Argyle Shore Provincial Park and picturesque Victoria-by-the-Sea. The cottage is centrally located so exploring other parts of beautiful PEI is easy. Golf, fishing, shopping, great local restaurants and theatre are all a short drive away.

This is truly a home away from home.

Immense cottage steps away from a beach

The cottage is huge with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. Check-in was a breeze using the lock-box on the main door. There is immense space for 8 people (who can sleep comfortably) and enough space to have 14 for dinner and drinks. The kitchen is well stocked and large. There’s a huge front deck and grass yard for kids to play on or for adults to relax. All in all an outstanding cottage and location. The only improvements would be the addition of an AC/Heat pump since it can get stifling in the summer heat and faster internet as with 8 people, it’s almost unusable and cell-phone coverage is spotty. The property manager responded to our questions or concerns efficiently.

South shore beach house

We had the best family vacation here! The house was perfect and the view was spectacular! It was everything we could have hoped for! The property manager was quick to respond to our only inquiry. All of the amenities were wonderful - and so much space outside on the deck and lawn! I would definitely return again!!

Best beach on the island!

We had never been to PEI so we spent very little time at the house and most of our time exploring the island. Next time we come to visit we hope to come to this house and spend more time enjoying this beautiful home and gorgeous beach. The only downside we experienced is that the internet service was not good enough for the one person in our group who had to continue working during our vacation. They found plenty of coffee shops in Charlottetown that met their needs though. The weak internet service was not the fault of this particular house. We talked to other people in the area and they said it is a common problem. None the less we would love to come back to this amazing property and no work allowed next time!

Fantastic week in PEI

We had two families in this cottage and it was extremely spacious with all the rooms and the large open entertaining area. The cottage is steps to a beautiful red sand beach where our children swam and explored the beach during low tide and went clamming and looking for starfish. The neighbors embrace you like you are a local and are always willing to give guidance about the island. The location is fantastic as we were pretty central to Charlottetown, North Rustico, etc. the cottage is remarkably clean and we were all impressed with it cleanliness and amenities. I love barbecuing and this cottage had a Weber bbq and a large standalone propane burner for your lobster boils on the large deck. All in all a great family location that I would highly recommend.

Super big, and fully equipped Cottage for a large family! This cottage is as described, steps away from the water. The red sand beach is ideal for those that love digging for clams, finding starfish etc. If you’re looking for a sandy beach, that is easily accessible for small children or the elderly, I would suggest a drive to a more sandy beach :) The owners of this cottage have done an amazing job at making sure you have everything you need for a relaxing and fun vacation. The cottage is in a more rural area, but is only 30-40min drive to well known attractions in Cavendish and Charlottetown. There are not a lot restaurants in the area, and the grocery store is about a 30 min drive away, and so we would suggest doing groceries before arriving to the cottage. You will not be disappointed with this cottage.
