The square is surrounded by shops, food markets, and cultural landmarks such as the Castillet, Saint John the Baptist Cathedral, Campo Santo, Hyacinthe Rigaud Museum, and the Palace of the Kings of Majorca. These iconic sites will immerse you in the fascinating history of the city.

Free parking near the Castillet: available from 6:00 PM to 9:00 AM, as well as from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, and from Saturday to Monday after 9:00 AM. Rates to be paid at city parking meters. Some spots are free 24/7.
Possibility to park your vehicle for just 2 euros per day in nearby parking lots, such as Parking Poncin, located on Rue Pierre Dumont.

By taxi: ask to be dropped off at the corner of Rue Mirabeau and Rue de la Barre.
By bus: Line C to the Castillet stop, then walk to Place de la RĂ©publique (5 minutes).
