Villas Azul is the only accommodation in the area that offers both direct walk-to beach access and stunning panoramic ocean views from every room. A conscious blend of relaxed luxury getaway and inspiring adventure in a tropical paradise.

Just steps away from your accommodation, there is beautiful swimming pool area with a palapa that has a full kitchen, BBQ and bathroom. High Speed Internet is available in both your accommodation and the palapa.

The space:

Newly built in 2020 and inspired by Balinese architecture, this villa option accommodates comfortably up to 4 guests and is steps away from our swimming pool area.

This villa option includes 1 master bedroom with a queen bed, coffee bar, refrigerator, ensuite bathroom and air conditioning. Next to it, there is a spacious living room with fans, dining room, kitchen, and a full bathroom. In this space there is a sleeping loft for two guests. The villa comes with bed linens, bath and beach towels. You will find breakfast goods in your private kitchen: eggs, bread, granola, local fruits, yogurt, orange juice, milk, coffee and tea.

Enjoy panoramic ocean views from every room of the villa and its terrace, where there is a table and seats.

Just steps away from your accommodation, you will enjoy our 40' (12 meters) swimming pool and the palapa, that has a full kitchen, BBQ and bathroom.

Guest access:

Enjoy a walk to the beach down our walking path through a beautiful rain-forest jungle, where it's common to see howler monkeys, toucans, sloths, hummingbirds, blue morpho butterflies, and capuchin monkeys, to name a few. At the end of your walk you will come to the most magnificent beach.

Enjoy the swimming pool, explore the property, encounter a sanctuary of wildlife, and release the worries of everyday life to rejuvenate your mind and body. We can’t wait to welcome you here.

Almost Paradise

Overall this property is exceptional and better than photos or past reviews could express. Our family of four arrived after dark on Jan. 1 for five nights. We were met by David who had provided excellent directions and had communicated all of the details in advance. We woke up to amazing views of the ocean and all sorts of animal noises in the jungle right beside our villa. We enjoyed many hours on our front porch looking out over the ocean. This is a truly wonderful place. Our week was full of animal and bird sightings and relaxation on the beach. The Villa kitchen and other rooms were well equipped for our family with AC in our bedroom and fans in the living room and loft. Our teens enjoyed having their own comfortable space in the loft with full bathroom amenities. David was available throughout our stay and assisted with helpful information and reservations. We recommend this to anyone looking for relaxation, lovely strolls on a nearly empty beach and access to great restaurants and activities near Uvita. We are directly on the ocean front with full ocean views from every room and just a ten minute walk through our private rainforest path to the beach. Find us between the villages of Uvita and Ojochal. Our location is in close proximity to multiple dining options, yoga studios, waterfalls, hikes, surfing, and more! Spend your days relaxing by our 40' (12 meters) pool, exploring surrounding rainforests, incredible beaches and local waterfalls. Nearby activities to choose from include surfing, horseback riding, kayaking, birdwatching, whale watching, diving, snorkel, massage, and more. Our villas are on a high point overlooking the world-famous Ballena National Marine Park, where you'll be able to access the mostly deserted beach and natural pools through our private rainforest walkways. A true luxury and zen-like experience! Getting around: The best transportation option is to drive your car or a rental car. There are also buses that go to Ojochal, Uvita and Dominical. There's no night buses.

Villas Azul is the only rental property in the entire area that has full ocean views from every room and is a short walk to the beach. We have no immediate neighbors making it extremely private. Our unique location on a hilltop peninsula halfway between Uvita and Ojochal places us minutes away from rainforest activities and fine restaurants.
