Fantastisk utsikt. Stenhuset har ett stort lyxigt kök, en stor terrass och badrum med infallsvatten i Saltz vatten. Det är sällsynt att hitta poolen som en naturlig förlängning av huset och terrassen. Detta magnifika stenhus på 4 hektar privat mark med panoramautsikt över Val di Chiana, inklusive LagoTrasimeno, är omgivet av tomten med nyligen planterade vinstockar och olivträd. "Persilja, salvia, rosmarin och timjan" till hands på terrassen för din italienska matlagning.

Huset ligger på en kulle ovanför Sarteano (2 km bort), en traditionell och verklig toskansk stad med 5000 invånare med cirka 10 restauranger, barer, supermarknad, slaktare, bagare, färsk pastabutik.

Renoveringen av A - Z slutfördes i juni 2016 och uppdaterades våren 2019. Huset med 3 våningar har 3 dubbelrum (varav två kan sova 3 personer) och ett enkelrum, 3 badrum, 1 toalett, 1 utomhusdusch. Lyxigt och mysigt kök med öppen spis och ett långt träbord som sitter 10, vardagsrum med balkong med utsikt över Val di Chiana, Lago Trasimeno och Chiusi. Från köket går du direkt till terrassen utrustad med trädgårdsmöbler och en grill. Infinitypoolen är en integrerad del av terrassområdet, varifrån du har en fantastisk utsikt över dalen. Nedre våningen, som har sitt eget kök, är lämplig för dig som vill ha en kvasi separat enhet.

Renoveringsfilosofin har varit inriktad på naturliga material med tonvikt på massivt trä och travertin. Toskansk stil med ett nordiskt inslag och en "touch" från Mellanöstern. Utrustad med massiv ek och travertingolv, armeniska handmålade plattor, Phillip Starck sanitära anläggningar. 4 cm massivt träbord och 90 cm bred SMEG spis i köket. Varje element i interiören har valts noggrant av ägarna. Dessutom är vissa unikt anpassade för huset.

Du kommer att välkomnas och plockas upp av en mycket vänlig Sarteano-expert, och barnpassare eller privata kockar kan tas om hand direkt. Rengöring sker i mitten av veckan.

Du kan gå bakom huset i skogen eller åka cykel eller besöka toskanska sevärdheter som. La Foce - känd för sin park eller städer i närheten: Pienza, Montepulciano, Siena, Radicofani, Cetona, Chiusi. Varma bad i Bagno Vignoni, San Casciano dei Bagni och San Filippo.

Huset är lätt att nå, bara 8 km. från Chiusi / Chianciano Terme-avfarten från motorvägen mellan Rom och Milano, A1. Endast de senaste 300 m. är på en skogsstig. Tågstationen Chiusi ligger 10 km bort med direktförbindelser till Siena, Florens och Rom.

Fabulous

Me and my family (including a 1.5yr old) stayed here for 6 days and it was great!! The house and the property is spacious and they have thought of everything you would need!! Lucia was lovely and helpful and her restaurant was delicious. We would happily book here over and over again :)

Great stay and Great Location

Location & quality of the stay were excellent. You are basically at 1-2h from all places to be seen in the south part of Tuscany. The Trasimeno lake can be seen from the windows. We really enjoyed our two weeks vacation with my family.

Amazing week in an amazing house!

We had a really nice time in Sarteano and in the house. We were a group of friends and did a lot of dinners at the house (homemade pasta, pizza, bbq, etc) and the house was absolutely perfect for it. The kitchen was so well equipped and had great amenities so it was no problem cooking and prepping for a large group. Also, the rooms and the amount of bathrooms was way better than in any other house I've stayed at with larger groups because usually you have 1-2 full rooms and the quality and amount of bathrooms and bedrooms was unmatched in comparison to other places I've stayed at with larger groups. Just don't make the mistake of following Google maps up the mountain because there is a much better and easier path which is not on the maps and was shown to us by Lucia . Would def recommend this house to friends or even stay there again!

Amazing villa!

The villa is beautiful; very clean, spacious, with highly equipped luxurious kitchen and comfortable beds! The views from the villa are breath-taking and the pool area is lovey. The are many nice places to visit but we especially enjoyed Montepulciano, Cetona, the hot springs at Bagno San Filippo and the hike from the villa to Castiglioncello del Trinoro. Jens was extremely friendly, prompt with communication and helpful. We would definitely recommend a stay at this property!

Wonderful week in Tuscany

We had a fantastic stay at Jens and Lise’s villa. From the start, communicating with Jens was very easy. He’s prompt answering your questions to make the stay as easy as possible. As others have described, the villa sits high above the valley giving you spectacular views. We spent many late afternoons with local wine just staring out at the gorgeous countryside. The villa itself is very clean and comes with all necessary amenities. Even with extreme Tuscan temperatures, the air conditioning (and the pool!) kept us comfortable. Sarteano makes a great base for visiting some of the smaller, less crowded villages. I highly recommend the villa and Jens’ hospitality to anyone.

A great experience in Tuscany

We really can't say enough positive things about our villa experience in Sarteano. The cool and quiet of the early morning and the great view of the sunrise were wonderful. The home is private and very comfortable and the refreshing pool was an enjoyable and frequent gathering spot for our family. Sarteano is charming and a great location to launch daytrips throughout Tuscany. The host and his local staff are exceptional and go above and beyond an excellent standard of service.

Amazing property!

This villa far exceeded our expectations, and we were sad to leave! Communication with the owner was exceptional, and check-in was quite easy. The owner arranged a cooking class for us with Assumta during our stay, which was great fun - highly recommend this experience! The villa itself was well-appointed with everything you might need during a stay. The bedrooms were roomy and comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and modern. The views were amazing, with the villa situated on a forested hill overlooking a valley. We would highly recommend this villa for a trip to Sarteano!

What a treat!

This property and the host are nothing short of exceptional. Our hopes were high for our stay here in Sarteano and our expectations were definitely exceeded. The photos of the house and landscape are impressive but experiencing this place first hand is breathtaking. This is a very special place in all of Tuscany and we are so grateful we were able to experience it. The house itself is top of the line, everything functions as it should, and every square inch is clean. Communication with the owner was stellar and Jens even provided some very useful recommendations for activities and eateries in the area. The road to get to the property is windy and bumpy but not long and very well worth it. We hope to return here someday! Thank you for everything.

Charming villa!!

Beautiful Villa on the hillside overlooking Tuscany. Stunning views. Updated furnishings, a wonderful kitchen that opens onto the patio and glorious pool. We spent every night on the porch star gazing with a glass of wine. Short drive to town, close to Montepulciano and Pienza! Both Jens and Lucia were extremely friendly, prompt with communication and helpful. Lucia's restaurant was one of our favorite dinners out in Italy. We can't wait to come back!

Magical stay in Sarteano

Our first trip to Tuscany and Sarteano is the sweetest village steeped in history and beauty. Jens is such a pleasant attentive host with a great team. The house is beautifully designed and comfortable with spectacular views and a stunning infinity pool set in the forest surrounding the property. Quite secluded which gave plenty of peace and tranquility yet nearby to the most charming village. We had a wonderful stay with our children of varying ages. Stunningly beautiful house! The views, the interior design, the fabulous kitchen, all perfect

We all loved this house! It is gorgeously designed, inside & out. The views are spectacular, & the location is the ideal spot for a quiet home base from which you can explore Tuscany on short day trips. There is hiking, including a gorgeous hike to a fabulous lunch at Hotel Monteverdi. We also had a wonderful chef, Assunta, come one night to the house who taught us all how to make fresh pasta, among other delicious dishes. This was a perfect vacation. I hope to go back someday. Highly recommend!!!!

Unique Villa in Tuscany

Everything about this villa is outstanding. The location is amazing with fantastic views and amazing privacy. The owner and managers were both responsive and proactive in making sure everything was easy and comfortable. The villa is equipped with very modern appliances, sound system etc. Day trips to Montepulciano, Montalcino, and all the other spectacular sites in the Sarteano area were easy and convenient. Finally, the hike over the mountain behind the villa is special and, if you are a birder, extra special- bring your binoculars!

Slice of HEAVEN in Sarteano

Four weeks of bliss in Tuscany and Sarteano was the perfect location. Unspoiled by tourists yet close enough to Siena, Florence, Pienza, Montepulciano and more. The villa is perfect; beautifully appointed, comfortable and clean. The pool is delightful and the views simply gorgeous! Don't miss sunrise from the upstairs bedrooms. Exceptional home in a great location.

The view from this beautiful property was beyond lovely. The home was very clean and well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked with useful items and we appreciated the number of bathrooms available for the bedrooms. The town of Sarteano was a very nice small town with easy access to many other sites and areas to visit. Lucia was very helpful and helped us get a wonderful chef for an authentic Italian home cooked meal. He was exceptionally professional and the food was marvelous. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner at Lucia’s restaurant where the ravioli cannot be missed! This beautiful rental property was perfect for our dream vacation in Tuscany!

Splendid stay!

We had a wonderful 5 night stay in this magnificent villa. The pictures accurately describe the beauty of this place but you truly need to see it to appreciate the magnificence of the villa and the surrounding countryside! The kitchen is beautifully stocked with excellent utensils and cookware as well as a state of the art coffee maker. The owner was responsive to any inquiries prior to booking and assisted with securing a private chef ( Assunta) for our final evening. We met with the property manager Lucia who guided us to the villa where we were greeted with a welcome basket! Such a nice personal touch! If you love to stream music there is a Bluetooth speaker which adds to the peaceful nature of this oasis. The weather was a bit cool for our use of the pool but the ambiance added to the tranquility of the surroundings. This villa is 5 star and exceeded our expectations!

Paradise in Sarteano

As soon as we saw the villa appear in its secluded location at the top of the drive, it took our breath away. We then opened the doors onto the balcony in the lounge and seeing the lakes, mountains and forests beneath us made us realise why we’d booked this villa. The week’s stay helped us recharge our batteries, idyllic and peaceful. The villa was well equipped, spacious and exceptionally clean. Sarteano centre is 2 miles away and has a lot to offer and easier by car due to the hill climb back to the villa. We explored many beautiful places during our stay: Montepulciano, Pienza, Casciano. We would definitely recommend this villa to others and wished we could have stayed longer.

Fantastic house with incredible views!

My family and I had an unforgettable stay in this beautiful house: everything was great: the house itself, situated in the Tuscan woods with breathtaking views over the valley, the bedrooms, the bathrooms, the beautiful living room, the large well fitted kitchen, the lovely pool. It had everything you could wish for. The contact with Jens was great troughout the whole period, from the date of reservation until the end of our stay. He is a very nice man. Celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary with our daughters and sons in law we made unforgettable memories.

Jens’ Place

Very well outfitted and comfortable. The property is in very good condition and has a splendid view from high on a hill looking over the Tuscan landscape toward distant mountains. While it is not air conditioned, the nights were cool when we were there due to the relatively high altitude. The pool and sitting arrangements are first rate. The kitchen is well-equipped and comfortable. Overall, a very nice place to stay. We had 5 adults, and 4 children ages 10 to 16 and the accommodations worked fine. If a renter has fewer people, they could rent the top 2 floors of the house and leave the bottom big bedroom with its separate kitchen out of the rental
