Welcome to Granola Bear Cabin! This brand new build cabin has a fully stocked kitchen to cook all your meals, a private indoor pool, and provides high-quality sheets, towels, and comforts of home. This is the perfect cabin to sit back and relax with friends, or have a fun getaway with family or explore the area! From relaxing in the living room with peaceful wooded views, to cooking in the fully equipped kitchen. This smokey cabin will make any vacation memorable! YOU WILL NOT WANT TO LEAVE THESE VIEWS!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: 1. What does the kitchen include? - The kitchen is fully stocked with normal kitchen items plus a crock-pot, rice cooker, roasting pan, waffle maker, toaster, blender, Keurig, tea kettle, various size pots & pans, turkey baster, mixing bowls, glass pie pan, and baking sheets.
2. Do you provide any baby items? - We provide a pack-n-play in one of the bedroom closets, a high chair and children's serving utensils.
3. Are pets allowed? - Yes, up to two dogs are allowed.
4. Do you provide a grill? - Yes. There is a gas grill outside.
5. What linens are included? - We provide linens for beds, bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, and pool towels.
6. Is the hot tub cleaned after every stay? - Yes. The hot tub is drained, cleaned, and refilled after every stay.
7. Is there a fire place? - Yes. There is a fire place in the living room and in one of the bedrooms.
8. What time is check-in and check-out? Check in is at 4pm and checkout is 10am. We provide contactless check in and checkout.
9. Where is the nearest airport? The nearest airport to the cabin is McGhee Tyson airport in Knoxville.
10. How many parking spaces are there? The parking area in front of the house can accommodate 4 cars.
11. Do you decorate for the holidays? Yes. We decorate for Christmas after Thanksgiving until January.
12. Do you need four-wheel drive? In Winter months four wheel drive might be needed at times, but the county is very good at clearing the main road to cabin.
13. What is the temperature of the private, indoor heated pool? The temperature of the pool is 80-81 degrees.
14. Is the waterfall in the pool room operational? It is not. It is for decoration ONLY!
15. Do you provide toiletries? We provide starter rolls of toilet paper, paper towels, and garbage bags. It is the guest’s responsibility to provide these after the starter quantities run out.
16. In case of a power outage, does the cabin have a backup energy source (generator)? Unfortunately, this cabin is not equipped with a backup generator.
