Quiet with lots of privacy. Beautiful view on a 4 acre property. A rarity in this area. Extra large private room and bathroom with PRIVATE ENTRANCE. The room is part of the house but secluded from the main house. Super clean and spacious. The room is equiped with a queen size bed with a dresser and night stands. We border Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, and 20 minutes to Downtown Bradenton and Sarasota University Town Center. We are 15 min to the nearest beach, 10 min to the Bradenton Speedway, 20 min to Sarasota Airport, and 11 miles to the nearest hospital. Close to several wedding venues, i.e. 5 minutes to Baker's Ranch and 10 minutes to The Barn at Lone Oak Acres.

Danny and Vanessa are wonderful hosts and the accommodations and property are fantastic! I stayed in the room attached to the back of their home. It is very clean and well maintained. It has a private entrance and a patio from which you can view their lovely property. Be sure to say hello to the cow and goat that feed on the grass behind the fence of this property! I would certainly recommend this location to anyone.

Adequate

The room itself was as described and fine for what we needed. Vanessa accommodated our request for a fan in the room. There is a private entrance around the back of the home, and the bathroom is located across the hall from the room. We were told the bathroom was for our use only; however, upon returning one day, the toilet seat was up and there was urine left in the toilet. I assume it was used by one of the family members, but still it was a bit unnerving. All in all not a bad 2-day stay.

My second time

This is my second time staying with Vanessa and Danny and of course it was amazing Clean , neat , private, serene. What was more anazing is the fact that the day before we were leaving the state was preparing for a hurricane . Vanessa's communication and care was above and beyond . I would recommend this to everyone. Thank you again , see you next year

Great experience!

I needed a clean, safe alternative to the crappy local hotels for my two-night business trip. I was not disappointed. The host, Danny, met me when I arrived late Friday night. He showed me my accommodation and explained how to handle everything. It's clean, well-appointed, and has everything you need for a base for your vacation or business trip. I'll be back for my next trip to the area.

Nice Room, thoughtful extras

Nice, clean, large room. A few snacks and complimentary bottles of water, too. Also rents space on property to mobile homes, but absolutely no noise or commotion from those while I was there. If you couldn't see them, you would not know they are there.

Relaxing stay

The room felt like very comfy with anything you could think of from coffee maker to microwave with extra silverware and coffee. There were 2 closets as well. The bathroom is across a hall but the main door can be locked as well as the bedroom. We had easy access to sites in the Sarasota area as well as a wedding. Vanessa and Dan were very responsive and helpful.

Away from typical tourists stuff

Quiet, comfortable, clean. Everything taken care by the host. Easy to travel about in that area--not in a town. If you are looking for that---this is the place and the price is reasonable.

Country Getsway

We had a relaxing time in a rural setting. Almost missed the driveway and found it a bit difficult to drive out. Wash towels weren’t refreshed on our 2nd day, but extra towels were provided. The hostess was very friendly and greeted us when we arrived. All-in-all it was a very pleasant experience.

Peaceful

We stayed here while in the area for a race at Bradenton Motorsports Park. It was nice having a clean, peaceful place to shower and rest at the end of a long, hot day. The room had everything we needed and more. We had good communication with the owner checking to see if we required anything before and during our stay.

Real Florida Setting

Vanessa and Danny were excellent hosts. Bedroom and bathroom perfect. Access to laundry. You need to supply your own laundry detergent - HEI type. Manatee River launch 1/2 mile south. Would definitely stay again.

Why pay beach prices?

Great alternative for those who don't need the hustle and congestion of Siesta Key or downtown Sarasota. Quick, 30 minute drive to these locations and more! Hostess is there if you need something. Quiet for those who need a good night's sleep.

My husband and 3 kids live on the property along with our small Yorkie and two cats. I worked for many years with seniors as a social worker. I retired early to take care of my children and hosting guests. My husband was a chemist and now works for himself as a handyman. We always strive to find more time to be with our kids knowing they will grow up and move away before we know it. We decided to work for ourself to give more time to our kids. We enjoy hosting and making sure our guests are comfortable during their stay. We take pride making our place clean, welcoming, and comfortable for our guests.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

This property is in an area that has a nice mixture of homes with acreage and HOA communities. There is an outlet mall nearby with many places to eat. We are half a mile to the Manatee River where you can launch a boat or go kayaking or canoeing. Our property is one of few properties left that have acreage.

Our property is beautifully landscaped, private, and quiet. Our guests are welcome to walk around the propert and off the property to the nearby park and river.
