Love the white brick house.

Comfortable home away from home . Great small town location in easy driving distance to PDX. Would definitely recommend.

Recommended for a Family of 5. Located in the very Friendly town of Camas and Close to the Columbia River. Will stay again at our next Family gathering. Thank you !

Great location

The house is clean and bright, has everything you could need. Convenient location to Portland, the gorge, and Vancouver. Check in and out was easy and simple. It was my partner, my self and two elementary age kids.

This is a nice and clean property located in a quiet residential area close to the historic Downtown of Camas and with quick access to SR14. The living room is spacious, the kitchen is well furnished, and the beds of the 2 bedrooms are very comfortable. The owners were friendly and helpful and they answered our questions quickly. We only stayed a couple of nights during the rainy season, so we didn't have a chance to also use the home's backyard, which would provide plenty of play area for younger kids.

Our family stayed in this home for almost 2 weeks. The host was extremely communicative, responding to messages within minutes. My husband and I were shocked by how INCREDIBLY CLEAN this home was; the bathrooms, kitchen, main living area, the beds, etc. Everything was beyond expectations. If we ever visit the area again, we will definitely be staying at this home. Thank you so much to the host for making our first family getaway a success. :)

Camas getaway

Everything went well. The house is nice enough and had all the things we needed. The kitchen could be a little better stocked for cooking supplies, but we made do and everything was fine. Nice neighbors and neighborhood. Very responsive hosts and let us check out an hour later after we asked. Recommend.

PERFECT

We are actually as of tomorrow, will Ben staying again at the WHITE BRICK HOUSE. Absolutely 💯 perfect. Everything we needed to enjoy our 10 day previous stay was at hand. Easy check in and check out. That is why we are back for another stay. Then possibly again next month. Thank you Lana and Stan.

Disappointing

I stay at many properties throughout the year, but this one had several issues. Front door won’t lock when leaving the location. Tv didn’t work. Batteries dead in thermostat. Master bed leans to one side. Could use some work. If things were fixed I would most likely stay again.

The property inside was was very nicely decorated. The master bathroom had a smaller standup shower. I’m a larger woman and could not get out from under the spray nozzle while setting my hair. I tried the other bathrooms, bathtub shower combo and couldn’t figure out how to make it come through the showerhead.The main concern I had was the large garage doors did not seal, and there was facia missing on the back side of the garage. We are familiar with bats and we would’ve felt more secure. Had the garage door leading into the house didn’t have a 1 inch gap at the bottom. As mentioned in another review, the tile in the kitchen has peeling paint. I don’t think that’s safe with preparing food. I tried to negotiate with the Vrbo owner about getting half my money back as we made the reservation when we thought our daughter was movingout of state and the job fell through. Since it was after cancellation, the answer was no. She would’ve only lost one day of revenue and potentially made more if someone reserved it for those 2 days. I get it. It is a business but where is the compassion. Thank goodness I don’t have children, the backyard was not safe to play. I would not recommend this property.

We stayed at this property for 2 nights, 4 adults and 1 teenager. It accommodated our needs fine, but I don’t however think I would return and I can’t say I would recommend it to anyone. There were some issues that I think need to be addressed. Smoke detectors were removed from the hallway and the master bedroom.There are zero outlets to use in the bedroom, no way to plug in and charge my phone in the bedroom. The handle of the microwave was broken off and just set back in place.The fridge has water and ice in the door and just not hooked up.The laundry room is in the basement, a very steep curved old stairway with no hand rail made it a little scary to carry linens down to start them washing.The bed in the master is on wood blocks, that resulted in a nasty wound on my toe when I got up to use the restroom in the middle of the night.The countertops in the kitchen need to be refinished. The coating is worn off resulting in a sticky surface. Not pleasant. Some of the dishes were not clean, crusty old food stuck on them. The burner on the stop was very easily turned on, the first few times no one noticed and all the sudden the stove top was HOT! If you weren’t paying attention and why would you be if no one intentionally turned it on, something or someone could very easily been burned. While each of these individually weren’t a big deal, when you have all of that in one visit it makes for an unpleasant stay.
