Make yourself at home at this well-equipped, oceanfront condo and experience the beach-cation of a lifetime! This family-friendly condo has a fully equipped kitchen with a combined living room/dining room, washer and dryer, and cable TV. The ocean view primary bedroom is located upstairs and has a king-size bed, just for lazy mornings to just watch the sunrise from your bed, with a walk-in shower. The upstairs guest bedroom has two twins with your own private bath that has a tub/shower combo. The third bedroom is located on the main level with the living area and has a queen bed and a shared bath with a tub/shower combo.

Guests of this condo will enjoy exclusive access to the Golf and Beach Club of Amelia Island with year-round privileges and resort amenities including the private and gated Beach Club of Amelia Island, the oceanfront pool, and access to the beautiful, oceanfront golf course at the Ritz Carlton (at significant discounts to standard greens fees). The Beach Club bar and grill, cabana, and towel services are open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

All new flooring through out the downstairs and all new mattresses.
The owners of this condo are members of the private Golf Club & Beach Club. Guests can enjoy the resort amenities which include:
•Private Pool - Non Heated note: no fitness club access
•Tennis & Pickle Ball Courts - MUST call the club to schedule court time
•Private Beach Area-5000 Summer Beach Blvd complimentary towels, chairs/umbrellas small fee. Food & Beverage concession. (Memorial Day - Labor Day)
•Access to the Ritz Carlton's beautiful oceanfront golf course: Must call to schedule tee time.
•The Amenity card fee is $125 + tax and applicable fees.
•Amenity Cards must be purchased, activated and obtained through the local Amelia Office.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.
This rental is located on floor 2.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Needs TLC

The positives: nice location and view. The negatives: dirty/stained sofa and dining rug. Whole house needs to be painted and carpet replaced. No towel bars just some plastic and metal hooks. Coffee pot big enough for 2 not 6 people. Not enough drinking glasses. Cookware needs to be replaced. Saggy, unsupportive mattresses. Some bedding was stained as well. Wouldn’t rent this unit again until some changes are made.

106 Sailmaker Villa

The unit is poorly maintained. The tile flooring is old, cracked in some places and dirty looking. The refrigerators freezer door was missing its handle. The refrigerator door water/ice dispenser was dirty. The toilet in the twin bed bathroom upstairs was not anchored and moved around when you attempted to sit on it. I know that the owner doesn’t have to provide at TV for the bedrooms but that 15” sitting on the dresser is a waste. I would not recommend this particular unit to anyone. The unit is a 1/2 Star at best, and the complex itself would be a NEVER EVER for me. The only plus for this place is it’s proximity to the beach.

Below Average

We have stayed at Sailmaker for the previous 5 years and this is by far the worst unit we have seen. All the furniture including the beds are very old, not in good condition and is very uncomfortable. The water dispenser on the fridge does not work, the settee on the balcony has broken legs and the dishwasher does not clean very well thus we had to hand wash many items after running the dishwasher. There is a large hole in the wall by the sliding door which was hidden by a basket. There are many water stains in the ceiling. There were almost no glassware except for some old plastic glasses. We did buy glassware for our use but we took them with us when we left. The web page shows a gas fireplace in the pictures and written word but there is not one. Cannot recommend this unit to anyone.

Beautiful view, Sweet condo!

The view takes the cake at this ocean front condo….you have a view of the dunes complete with turtle activity and the Atlantic beyond. It is a second story condo which gives the elevation for the Ocean view. The condo itself is comfy, clean, and prettily decorated. Would definitely return!

We have stayed at Sailmaker for 5 years and 106 is the most out of date and uncomfortable of any unit we have stayed in. We definitely will not return.

Wonderful views, but poor up keep by owners.

This was not my first rental in Amelia Island. Let me first start off by saying the the views and location of this rental are by far my favorite on the island. However, I was quit disappointed by the maintenance of the condo. There were water marks on most of the ceiling from leaks, there was damage through a wall near the sliding glass door that was covered by a basket, the dishwasher barely cleaned the dishes. I don't believe this is any fault of the management association, but I would not give the condo a higher rating. Other units I have stayed in when it was Amelia Island Rentals seemed to have a cleaner vibe. However, the views were great (though the balcony was not cleaned or swept off when we arrived) and the beds were fair.
