Not a great hotel
I booked this as a cheap baseline for a short stay near Boston; I intended to keep looking, but never had time and ended up keeping this. It's just a cheap hotel room, not the kind of thing you usually find on VRBO (and operated by a third party that uses an automated system that has some bugs, and they aren't that easy to get in touch with). It's not in a great neighborhood, right by a busy highway, and the soundproofing is basically non-existent; I checked the window several times, thinking that it must be open, but no, it was just loud even with the windows closed, and it would have been a rough night's sleep if I hadn't had earplugs with me. Lots of other little things were not great: there as a 1-inch gap at the base of the door to the hall that let in lots of light and noise, they don't offer recycling, etc. And there were very few amenities in the room (as you would expect for a hotel); I've grown accustom to having some basic kitchen supplies (plates, glasses, silverware, paper towel), this only had the hotel basics: a microwave with a too-bright display, a refrigerator that wasn't plugged in when I got there, and a coffee maker that was missing the pot; not the kind of setup I'm used to after many great stays at other VRBO rentals. I stayed in 4 other rentals on this trip; this one was in the middle cost-wise, but was by far the worst place, so likely I could have found something better if I had kept looking. Main positive: Relatively close to the airport.
