Get Condo!

My family had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful place. The kids had a good time at Sea Colony. There’s so much to do great for a family vacation. And the condo is charming, with everything you need. The owners were lovely! We will definitely book again!

Great layout and affordable

Secluded top level 2-floor 4-bedroom 3-bath condo with all the Sea Colony amenities at a very affordable price. With a few upgrades I am sure prices would go up. Enjoy the beach!!

Lousy property management

The unit by design and decor was great. Location and amenities excellent. The Master BR had not been dusted in months, the towels were out away wet, and worst the a/c was broken - repeated calls went I unanswered -the unit was 86 degrees. we had to call Vacasa in another town because we were promised an answer and the local place called without ever returning a phone call

Great location, but...

We loved the location, but the unit has issues. There was trash on the floor. Not enough pillows or coffee mugs. Sliding door to porch is inoperable. 2 of 5 TVs worked. Towel bar in hall bathroom falling off wall.There is more. I cannot recommend this unit.

A great place to stay with family and friends

Our traveling party consisted of five adults and a toddler. The unit had plenty of space for everyone, including the lovely screened in porch area. The location in west Sea Colony was great: the fitness and aquatic centers were a short walk away and there was a tram stop close by to access the beach and amenities in the condo towers. Being on the second floor meant hauling all of our things up the steps BUT the trade off was getting to feel like we were up in a tree house, surrounded by the foliage. The decor is tasteful. I wish there was a half-star option because while we greatly enjoyed our stay, there were a few things that could definitely be improved. 1) the mattresses. It would be generous to call them “firm.” I think “hard” is a more accurate description. 2) kitchen supplies. I fully recognize that a lot of people prefer to eat out for every meal on vacation, and while we certainly enjoyed several local restaurants, we also cooked a few meals “at home” to save money. The knives were extremely dull and one even seemed bent. The pickings were fairly slim with larger cooking utensils (spatulas, cooking spoons, etc). We could not find a cutting board. 3) cleaning supplies. This is mostly the lack of a broom and dust pan. One of our toddler’s favorite things to do is sprinkle goldfish everywhere and we do like to clean up after him. To be fair, there was a vacuum but a broom is a lot easier for what we needed it for. There is a general expectation in renting someone else’s home that you should tidy up after yourself. This is a beach house. There is sand. A broom is necessary to keep tidy. We definitely would stay here again—though maybe next time we’ll bring a mattress topper.

What a great week!

My family of 6 (plus a 2 yr old toddler) stayed here for a week and it was such a perfect getaway and we fit perfectly :) its walking distance to the gym, several great pools and also the outdoor activity center which has pickle ball, bocce ball, shuffle board, basketball courts and more. It’s close enough to all activities but also has the feeling of privacy and being tucked away. The screen porch faces the woods which we loved 🥰 The tram will take you to the beach area and found times on the tram tracker so we didn’t have to wait too long for it. Really appreciate the essentials being in the house when we got there (toilet paper, dish soap, soap, etc) so we don’t have to go to the store same day as arriving. Very comfortable place! Thanks for a great vacation, will be back :)

52009 Canal Court-Bethany Beach Delaware

We liked the layout of the condo. Plenty of room for the whole family. Especially liked the screened in porch, but it needed a good cleaning. There were several areas in the condo that could have been cleaned better, but overall it was livable as a vacation rental. Good location near many of the amenities and in a beautiful wooded area.

Some good and some bad

We have been vacationing with our extended family at Sea Colony for 10 years, in many different condos. This condo is a great layout & location- athletic complex, pool, fishing pond, and tram stop are all a short walk away. It backs to the woods and Assawoman Canal. It's spacious, private, quiet. Good mattresses. NOT good- The cleanliness of the condo was very much lacking. We don't expect perfection, and we've never had to clean a condo upon arrival, but 6 of us cleaned for over an hour- dirty rings around the toilet bowls, dirty sticky fingerprints on every touchpoint (light switches, edges of doors), the screened-in patio was unusable due to pollen covering every surface, someone's laundry left in the dryer, the fans and blinds were caked in dust, ect. It needs a deep cleaning! My closet was full of random piles of stuff, such as old blankets and pillows, not folded, just thrown in a heap. Lastly, the condo is not well equipped. The non-stick cookware is scratched and flaking. Halfway through cooking pancakes, we discovered that there were no spatulas. No broom of any kind. A broken lamp that would fall if touched, comforters that were too small and only covered the top of the bed, and the living room TV didn't connect to cable until we brought a cable box from another room. I'd recommend bringing kitchen supplies, blankets/pillows, a broom, and cleaning supplies. If you can get past all that, the space and location are great! With some TLC, this condo could be great!

Great Location and Convenient, Home In Need of Service

We loved how convenient the location was to the pool, fitness center and generally great for a large family such as ours. We adore Sea Colony and have rented there for several years. The home was not properly cleaned and some areas contained black mold which was a hazard to our infant and toddler.

Great home for a family vacation

The house was just perfect for our family trip. We were 4 adults and 2 kids. Incredibly spacious. Loved the location. It was close to the fitness center and everything else we needed to walk to. The tram stop was convenient and there was plenty of parking for our 2 cars all week. I definitely would recommend this home.

A Quiet Getaway

We enjoyed a week with our adult children & teenage grandchildren. The boys worked out in the Fitness Center, just a block away. My wife & I took some long walks each morning in the shade of the tree lined streets. Adding ceiling fans in the 2 bedrooms in the loft would be nice, but we used the floor fans to help keep the rooms comfortable. The maintenance staff was responsive & courteous when we discovered a few problems--Zack fixed things quickly for us. Overall, we would rent this condo again.

The condo provided rooms for every guest. The layout was beautiful, great vacation!! This stay was relaxing and wonderful. The indoor pool was great and the staff and community was very friendly and kind. Great community. Looking forward to returning soon.

Beautiful quiet well appointed home

Beautiful quiet well appointed home. Loved our stay and enjoyed this rental very much. Well furnished, comfortable, and everything was clean and comfortable. Good location.
