This cozy second-floor suite sits above our family’s horse barn and offers a unique blend of quiet comfort, countryside charm, and personal hospitality. Guests love starting their mornings with fresh homemade Amish pastries, relaxing outdoors with sunset views, and ending the day around the fire ring under the stars.

Whether you're here for a romantic weekend, a solo reset, or just some time away from it all, this is a place to slow down, unplug, and breathe.

My husband and I took a few days to getaway for our Anniversary Everything is beautifully kept and it was very clean. So quite and peaceful. Communication with the owners was very pleasant and they were very accommodating. Definitely woukd stay here again.

What a lovely place to visit. Miriam and Ben took such care in making sure that we were comfortable. The apartment was immaculate and peaceful. The views spectacular! Be sure to have your camera ready at sunset...Oh, and the pastries in the morning were so delicious! Such a great way to start the day.

This is our second time staying at this place and we really enjoyed our stay. We love it even more than the first time. The place is spotless, well stocked, very peaceful, and comfortable. Communication with Mrs Miriam was great and the little personal notes and the pastries were not only delicious but a beautiful touch!! This was our second time here. It was very relaxing and quiet. The accommodations were comfortable and clean. We just wanted a quiet weekend away from home so it was perfect. Its away from commercial areas but still close enough to dining.

Amazing as always….I have lost count of the number of stays at the Lapp homestead. Each time that we stay there is better than the last time…..It was very hard for us to leave….but…..we will be back soon!

Spoiled by fantastic hosts. The rooms were immaculately kept and had all the small necessities that one may forget bring. We loved the view of the setting sun every evening from the living room. The baked treats every morning took the stay from wondered to a memory that will last forever.

Cozy Peaceful Get away

Very beautiful accommodations. Beautiful Amish family farm. While it's not a true bed and breakfast, every morning you will find delicious pastries at your door. There is no TV and no Internet which allows you to break from technology. I love that while my son, not so much. We were provided with great remonendations of places to eat and visit during our stay. If you are looking for quiet, this isn't the stay for you but if you don't mind the sound of children playing and other noses, this place is perfect. I personally enjoyed it. If you have allergies to animals, didn't forget your allergy tabs as you are staying upstairs in the barn. There are horses and goats below you. Overall, amazing on-site hosts and much relaxation. I would definitely stay there again.
