Decent stay for the price

The condo is a nice stay for the price, the view of the ocean was great, but it the condo could use a few simple upgrades (like newer sheets and pillows). The management group was very nice with checking in on my family during our stay.

Horrible experience

Horrible. The AC was barely working the whole stay. There was bird poop and a water bottle filled with urine on our balcony. It was so hot we ended up booking another hotel half way through our stay because we couldn’t get anyone to help. I’m still waiting on a reply from the company to try and make it right but now they won’t even take my calls or messages. Go anywhere else. I promise it’ll be better!

Vrbo needs to get their stuff together!

My wife and I rented a 6th floor condo on Daytona beach for the 4th of July weekend. We’ve used Vrbo in the past and had great experiences until this time. Less then 24 hours I was contacted by a rental company saying can’t stay at that property because of ac issues but they have a similar property available which turned out to be NOTHING like the original property so I declined that property. They gave me an upgraded property which was cool but I get a call a couple hours later saying the same exact thing is wrong with that property ac issues. So that company refunded my money ALL but a 73 fee that they still want to question me about. Lost a customer! Keep the 73!

Hopefully the amenities are fixed soon.

Overall comfortable place to stay. Walls were dirty or gained along with the refrigerator. Mattress was old but comfortable. The area with the bed needs a fan or some other type of AV system since the couch block the AC wall unit by the balcony door.

Cute!

Cute little condo. Oceanfront, private, sunrise perfect balcony! Beach access via public access North side of building. Parking tower closed but parking is no big issue, with parking spaces provided directly in front of facility for unloading. Grocery, liquor, pharmacy, clothing, gift shops, and restaurants across the street, all within walking distance. Comfortable bed. 2 TVs with satellite provided. I do plan to return.

Just Okay

It wasn't the cleanest. There were bugs smooshed to the wall and the pullout had crumbs from the previous people. The furniture has seen better days. It could use a bit of an update.

Interesting

This was an interesting place. I dont have high expectations or requirements for a place to stay, but while this wasn't the worst it wont be a place I would stay again. To start with this is a just a room essentially in a hotel that has sold off rooms to stay open. Their parking is extremely limited and we had to park next door in the public parking lot. As far as the room itself it, whatever is used to clean the floors makes your shows stick to it. The curtains have rust stains, they have 2 pots one rusted no pans, so not really sure how you would cook much. Walls are really thin so you can listen to your neighbors yell and fight all night. And the thing that bother me the most was the extremely uncomfortable bed. The sofa couch was better than the queen bed but not by much. The positive was the view of the ocean with the sunrises.

RENTERS BEWARE!

After check-in, when asked about the cleanliness (via text), I mentioned that the unit as a whole was in poor/fair condition...the curtains had stains and didn't hang well, bedspreads were in poor condition, the couch was filthy and unfit for use. The furniture is old and dated, dirty and should be replaced. The door to the balcony was very difficult to open, and glass could use additional cleaning. Overall our experience with Vacasa was not good and we will not be using your services in the future. I contacted Vacasa Guest Experience Department about items that needed attention or repair - knowing it was not going to be done while in the unit, I asked for some monetary compensation for the inconveniences and was told they "looked in the unit" and there is "nothing wrong with it" and there would be no resolution. Overall, the entire property is in rough, very dated condition. Do not rent this unit.

Sunshine view

The best part about this location is the view for sure. However if you’re going to stay here bring your own pillows there’s two paperthin pillows and there’s no pillows for the pull out bed I would also recommend bringing extra towels for yourself as we are only given three shower towels for our stay. I would also recommend bringing some extra toilet paper also. Unfortunately the indoor pool sauna and restaurant/bar we’re all closed.

Very disappointed

The unit was clean but overall we were very disappointed. Our customer service was horrible. We contacted Vacasa twice through vrbo messaging during our trip and never got a response. When we arrived, which we knew we were there a couple hours early, the resort had no record of us staying there. We were told by the front desk that if we could contact Vacasa and have our booking info sent over then they could give us keys and we could at least access the pool and beach. I called twice asking for this information and was told it would not be sent until 4PM. We were not asking to get into our room early, we just wanted to access the pool and beach to relax with our two small children that had been in the vehicle for several hours. We decided we wanted to add another night to our stay. I had been emailed earlier in the week with a deal to get an extra night for $100. When I called I was told this was no longer valid. So you all would rather leave the night open and make no money they to let us book an extra night? After we did get checked in, we found out the parking garage was closed. We had to park in an offsite parking lot. There was not any luggage carts during check in or check out, which resulted in having to make multiple trips to our vehicle (off-site) and carry all our belongings through the lobby and to the elevators. This was extremely inconvenient. The splash pad at the resort was the best amenity for our kids and they did enjoy it. As far as our room, it was clean but the beds are wore out. Especially the couch bed. If you got too close to the end you would start to roll off. There is only one air unit, which was in the living room. The bedroom and bathroom stayed hot, especially the bathroom since it was the furthest from the air. The door to the balcony was very difficult to open, my wife could not get open it without help. Overall our experience with Vacasa was not good and we will not be using your services in the future.

Short stay

Layout of the room is great! Nice, decent furniture. The AC could not keep up with the room temp. We called but don’t know if anyone came or not. The air never got cool enough to really feel it in the bedroom so we slept on the pullout sofa. Also the water in the kitchen sink didn’t turn on. I feel like if we are paying this amount of money it should having working water and an AC that works (sounded like it was moaning a few times in our 3 days) Yes we would stay again if these items were fixed bc we enjoined the area and layout of room.

Loss of amenities

A/c broke the first morning we were there. Multiple communications with Vacasa reps. Local person never helped or offered any financial remuneration. We ended up needing to stay an extra day and we’re hoping they would offer it without charge to compensate. Local manager said he would only give us 20% off, which we had to do. Won’t work with that entity again. No customer service skills.

Condo feedback

Balcony was so nice. The room was clean , quiet and comfortable . Everything was very nice . The bathroom could use a update on the tile but other wise it was clean and I enjoyed my stay .
