The Plantations at Princeville Resort is a gem on Kauai’s North Shore! Within walking distance to beaches, restaurants, shopping, and world-class golf, it’s just a short drive to picturesque Hanalei Bay. This peaceful complex features beautifully landscaped grounds with vibrant flora!

Plantations at Princeville #821 is a lovely top-floor condominium among swaying palm trees, overlooking the resort-style pool. You’ll enjoy the large, covered lanai with oversized patio furniture, perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails. This desirable top floor offers cooling trade-winds and stunning sunset views!

Step inside to a large, inviting common area that connects all spaces seamlessly. The open floor plan is ideal for entertaining, with a clean and refreshing bright white palette and ocean blue accents. Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors and abundant windows illuminate the home and allow for excellent circulation of Kauai’s cooling tradewinds, along with central air conditioning.

The comfortable living area features island-style wood furniture and modern decor for a tropical vibe. Enjoy cozy movie nights with an ideally placed corner entertainment system. The adjacent dining area has a large wood table set for six.

The fully-equipped kitchen includes a side-by-side refrigerator, updated appliances, oven, microwave, coffee maker, and utensils. The bright, white tile counter offers generous prep space and serves as a breakfast bar with four comfortable chairs.

Three spacious bedrooms provide luxury and comfort for every guest! Each features ceiling fans and plenty of natural light. Bedroom one has a king-size bed with a carved wooden frame, double bedside tables, and a TV. The ensuite bathroom includes bright, white tile, a large soaking tub, and a sliding glass door to the lanai.

Bedroom two features a unique queen-sized bed, side table, and dresser. Large windows bring in natural light, with an ensuite bathroom that includes a tiled vanity and combined shower/tub. Bedroom three has two single beds, a bedside table, large windows, generous closet space, and island decor. Its ensuite bathroom offers a long tiled vanity and shower/tub combo.

Also included is a washer and dryer tucked into a side closet. Guests have access to beach gear, including chairs, a cooler, bicycles, and umbrellas. The resort-style pool area features a large community pool, hot tub, lounge chairs, shade umbrellas, and BBQs. The clubhouse offers a full spa and gym with weights, machines, and cardio equipment.

this condo was perfect four of us and a two year old kitchen had everything we need lots of extras for our toddler toys pack& play and high chair and stroller left us needing nothingbeach supplies were great the chairs ,cooler and other water stuff was greatwould love to stay again

Great Place To Stay

We really enjoyed our stay here. There were 5 of us and it was perfect…plenty of space, plenty of amenities, etc. We loved sitting out on the lanai and being able to access the pool so easily.

The condo was a great. Loved the location and the 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms worked out perfectly for adults staying together.

Very comfortable and pleasurable experience

The property was comfortable and spacious for a family of 5. The onsite pool and available grills were excellent for dinners. A great location for the adventures that abound around Princeville.

Wonderful!

This is a great place for a family vacation! Our kids livd the pool and the lanai. We lived the wide open space of the great room and the simple decor-it was all lovely.

Beautiful Clean and Comfortable

The property was better than I expected. Very clean and comfortable. The community is beautiful. The boogie boards, beach chairs, and umbrellas made the time at the beach so much better. I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful and classy

My mom and I enjoyed our stay here immensely. Our mornings were spent on the covered deck listening to the birds and the pool waterfall while sipping hot tea. The property is spacious, impeccably clean, and very classy with the touches of blue everywhere. The location gave us close access to the Hanalei Bay area and an enjoyable drive to the south shore and the Waimea Canyon. We would not hesitate to return to this lovely property!

Clean, kid friendly condo

Wonderful condo in great area of Princeville. Each bedroom has its own bath and plenty of room for everyone. It is so close to Hanalei and Queens Bath as well as beaches and fun outings for the whole family. I highly suggest this Condo for anyone with kids because they have a lot of kids toys, etc. The pool is right outside the condo and so is the workout room.

Sept Stay

I had the pleasure of staying in Alanna's Kauai condo in early September with my family. The photo's do not do this unit justice. This unit shows even better in person. It has a refreshing Pottery Barn feel, no island kitsch here! The 3bed 3bath configuration was perfect for our group. The location and amenities exceeded expectations. We look forward to visiting again soon!

We were here with my 3 friends for 1 week. Beautiful cozy house and well equipped kitchen. Community pool and jacuzzi were well maintained and clean. We feel the location was great, we had a car so we toured around the island. The only minus was we couldn’t get a hold of the contact person when we checked in (tried phone or whatsapp) and she didn’t return to us during the entire stay. We had questions about some outdated instructions and a fire alarm that was out of battery and beeping when we arrived. Despite of this would stay again here, we loved the house and felt very fast like at home.

Great vacation spot, wonderful rental,definitely recommend it

My daughter in law and two teen granddaughters joined me for 8 nights in Kauai. we loved the condo, plenty of space for all.Alanna was very helpful and available to solve any problems that arose( nothing did) We had beach chairs, boogie boards, plenty of beach towels. The condo is in a terrific location, Hanalei for Paddle Boarding, Princeville foe Ziplining , restaurants and shopping nearby and when it rained we drove to Poipu and we were back in time for dinner. Highly recommend this rental for a terrific vacation

Great Condo!

I loved your place! Great location! The deck overlooking the pool area with a waterfall. I loved sitting on the deck listening to the waterfall. Your place is so well planned out. We needed a cooler..there it was in the closet. Ice packs....in the freezer, beach chairs, beach umbrella, and towels all there for a fun time at the beach. Thank you!

Perfect, Affordable Spot for Families

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The owner went above and beyond to accommodate all of our needs. Usually at the end of our vacation we are ready to get home. Not this time. We felt right at home, taking full advantage of the kitchen, lanai and local beaches. Everything was top-of-the-line. We particularly enjoyed the location and its proximity to paths, parks, groceries, etc. We hope to return some day in the future. Thanks again for a lovely stay! Grace

Upscale Tasteful Pool Front Princeville Condo

I love this place! It is tastefully designed and close to beaches, wonderful restaurants and shops. This is a perfect condo for families or two to three couples. The master suite is large and super comfortable. The bedrooms are far apart and each have their own bathroom. The living area is spacious with floor to ceiling sliding glass doors that open up to a fully furnished patio area that overlooks the pool. The Princeville area is absolutely the best location to stay in. And this condo is the perfect place for a wonderful vacation. The owner is gracious and has great ideas for a fun time! LB

Perfect kid friendly family vacation

This was our first trip to Kauai and it was perfect. Each bedroom has very comfortable beds and high end linens. There is a bathroom for each of the 3 bedrooms as well which makes this a perfect place for 1 or 2 families. The location is perfect. It's a short drive to Hanalei and there is a grocery store and shopping just a few minutes drive from the condo. You could even walk along the beautiful path to the market. The owner has decorated in a beautiful island theme of blue and white. The kitchen is fully stocked, making it easy to cook at home or go enjoy a night out. We will be back!

Would definitely stay here on my next Kauai trip

My husband and I visited Kauai along with my parents and sister and stayed at this condo for a week and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. It is in great condition with a lot of space with a great patio space and plenty of amenities (cooler for the beach, beach chairs, yoga mats, beach towels, grill on the patio). The only thing to keep in mind that the AC only reaches the master bedroom and the common areas (kitchen, living room, dining room). The other two bedrooms have ceiling fans so we were able to get enough cool air at night to sleep.

Amazing Stay

Have stayed in two many short term rentals to count over the years....... Alanna's home was by far the best! First, the location is perfect! Princeville is a lovely area with everything you need close by. Waterfalls, beaches, and quaint little towns like Hanalei just around the corner! Spent one night just staying in.....grabbed a few groceries in the store nearby and barbecued @ the pool. Very comfortable layout in the house with everything one needs to make dinner....oh, and nice patio outside to enjoy dinner. Most important.......very clean, and the beds, sooooo comfortable! We are for sure coming back. Lastly, what a great host you were Alanna! Thank you, Linda and Gary

Christmas in Paradise!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a fantastic stay over Christmas 2021. The three bedroom condo was perfect for our family including two young adult daughters and my mom. The place was very clean, the kitchen well-equipped, and we were all very comfortable. The management was responsive when we needed a couple of small items (extra blanket, coffee grinder). The condo does not have its own grill but we used the ones in the common area, which worked out great. The condo is close to everything we needed and wanted in Kauai. Would highly recommend and hope to be back!

Great location at Plantation

We really enjoyed the choice location away from the roads, and overlooking the pool from the large, airy lanai. Clean and bright unit with bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone, well stocked, including the beach gear in the garage - the sun umbrellas were very much appreciated! As with most rentals, some sharper knives would be nice....but a minor inconvenience. Alanna was very responsive and helpful before, during, and after the stay. The preparations and organization very thorough - including the security code for forgetful folks like me (I don't think that was a coincidence - thank you). Short walks to some hidden beaches and Queen's Bath. We look forward to returning and don't hesitate to recommend it to anyone heading to the Princeville area. Mahalo

Great property, but could have been much cleaner.

The location and property itself was fantastic. Plenty of room for our family of four, and the amenities, including the spa, pool and workout room were great. The downside was that nothing had been cleaned properly prior to our stay; the bath towels had stains on them, so we had to wash / bleach the towels prior to us, and the plates, cups, pans and cooking utensils had food still stuck on them, requiring a deep clean prior to use. We were ecstatic to find that there was a no shoes rule in the house, as we practice the same rules at home, but the carpet was stained and dirty - so we didn’t quite understand why we were asked to remove our shoes - not to mention the fact that we felt rather grossed out walking around the house barefoot. Would have been totally fine with the somewhat exorbitant cleaning fee, if the place had actually been cleaned fully prior to our arrival, but I feel like we got hosed so the house could be cleaned minimally for the next guests. Easily a 5 star VRBO property if the place were maintained, but I have to give it 3 stars overall given the price we paid for what we got.

A month in paradise with a 13 month old and a 3 year old

Absolutely the ideal place for myself, my 13 month old and 3 year old daughter. Safe, child friendly. And so many extras like, small chairs, toys, books, crib etc... The children LOVED the deck and eating their meals outside. My 3 year old would watch the pool for her 'friends' and then request to go swim. The condo was clean, the bedding and decor was simple and perfect. The location was ideal. We rented bikes and had them delivered and was able to ride to the local park, ride to the St. regis for sunsets, lunches by the pool etc... We explored almost all the beaches on the north shore. Tunnels was our favorite. The garage was stocked with ice chests, umbrella, chairs, sand toys and floaties for the kids. Hanalei bay is 10 minutes away and we our local favorite for lunch and dinners was the Hanalei Gourmet. They were great with the kids. Overall, brilliant condo but the icing on the cake was how proactive and helpful Alanna was. Always prompt with responses and proactive with great kid-friendly ideas. Thank you Alanna, your condo has enabled us to create so many amazing memories.

Plantation at Princeville 821 NEEDS at lot of WORK

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: (1) When we first showed up, I had to "clean" the inside of the dishwasher door panel. It had junk all over it. After two "washes", a lot of the blue detergent still stuck on the bottom & inside of the DW door! Even the handyman said it was dirty & does not work. We handwashed our dishes & pots & pans. Still waiting for appliance credit.(2) The two bottom drawers in the refrigerator were impossible to open & close. The "tracks" were broken. (3) Chest drawers in MBR would fall out when we tried to open them. There were no "tracks" to hold onto them. We left our clothes in our suitcases.(4) We took out the ice chest in the MBR closet. It was covered with sand top & bottom. We opened it & the inside was covered with wet sand. Smelly & gross.

A little slice of heaven

Great little space to come "home" to and relax after a great day adventuring out in Kauai. We also just enjoyed relaxing there in our spaces as there was just the right amount of room for the 6 of us. Having our own bathrooms was so nice too. No one hogging the bathroom while the rest of us waited our turn. Nice kitchen area to cook with everything you need. I have 3 boys and a husband and they all eat A LOT so it was nice not having to go out for every meal. The lanai was so nice and spacious and overlooked the pool so if our 12 year old was out there we could watch him and the pool area had two nice grills that were very clean and were available the two nights we did grill out. We didn't have to turn on our air the whole time. We were able to keep the windows open to enjoy the fresh air pretty much all day and night. The only suggestion would be to add a screened door to the front door as when we had that open during the day it helped cool the space immensely but at night the cockroaches would try and scurry in (not as big as I thought they would be so actually no biggie and I am a bug freak) so we had to keep the door closed as soon as the sun went down. The people across the way had a screen door and I have to admit I was a tiny bit jealous. I liked our location as it felt very safe and was in a good location in proximity to many activities that we did. I mean we did drive some but who cares when you get to have the views that come with driving around the island. I would highly suggest this rental and would do the whole trip over again in a minute if I could. Nothing but happy memories and missing the trip already. Aloha Kauai :)
