Comfortable, clean, cozy cabin nestled in the woods of FDR state park. Roomy master bedroom downstairs, upstairs queen bedroom with attached bathroom and loft area with double bottom/single top. Large front porch with swings; 700 sq ft back porch with single bed, rockers and swing. Side yard has enclosed doggy area. Wood fireplace, park grill, Keurig with K-cup pods provided as well as welcome drinks and basic spices.

Located eight miles from Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain and FDR’s Little White House in Warm Springs, GA. Mountain lookouts, picnic area and FDR State Park Pool are within 3 miles. Entertainment for the entire family available at Butts Mill Farm and Wild Life Safari and fish hatchery. Explore the surrounding areas to find Red Oak Creek Covered Bridge and Fitzgerald Fruit Farm (homemade ice cream- Yum!). Wine tasting and blueberry farm also within 30 minutes drive.

Like being in a treehouse among the maples

The cabin had a wrap around back porch where the view of the green forest was fantastic. Downstairs the cabin had games and streaming, the kitchen, bedroom and a bath. Upstairs was a bunk bed in a loft as well as a private bedroom and bath. Host was kind and left coffee fixings and a bottle of wine. Lovely stay.

Wonderful time - exactly what we wanted! Only suggestion would be to clean the upholstery in the living room and the easy chair in the downstairs bedroom (subtle urine and body odor smell - not inviting for those spaces). A note

Comfortable Woodsy Cabin

Centrally located cabin that had everything we needed. The back porch was a lovely place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and watch lightening bugs at night.

Fantasy in Lights

Beautiful cabin close to Callaway Gardens. We went to Fantasy in Lights. Pet friendly cabin with a fenced in area for the dog was great. We had an unexpected death in our family and had to cut our trip short so the owner let us check in early which was so nice. Beautiful viewing areas close to the cabin for views and hiking trails. Plenty of picnic areas close by. This place is perfect if you’re looking to be away from busy, city life. Would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful Getaway

Nice quiet area which was in driving distance of restaurants, grocery stores, and gas stations. Ideal cabin for pets because of the fenced in area for potty breaks. Back porch was comfortable with nice futon, table and chairs to eat outside. Weather was nice and we'll definitely come back!

Cute and comfortable

We came for the lights at Callaway Gardens. This was the perfect spot. Close to the gardens and a really cute and comfortable place. We had everything we needed to cook our meals. It’s a very relaxing place. Very quiet and peaceful.

Great weekend getaway

This property was perfect for a quick weekend retreat! The cabin was very inviting and clean upon arrival. It had everything needed to prepare a great dinner and breakfast. Sitting on the back deck was quite peaceful!
