Great place to stay

Clean, lovely property. Boat rental was inexpensive and appreciated. We loved being right on the water and a brief visit from Diesel, the local patrol dog, was delightful.

Cozy & Comfortable

Check in was a breeze. We were greeted by a snack basket when we walked in the door and the kids couldn't wait to pop the popcorn and relax after our travel. The weather outside never got over 32 degrees for our entire stay so we weren't able to take advantage of the lake and boat, but the cabin was cozy and never had any issues with pipes freezing or anything like that even when the temperature dipped down to 9 degrees. Thanks for the great stay!

Home away from home

My family and I came into town for my little brother's graduation from Texas A&M. The house was the perfect, cozy home for us to rest in. And the property manager was soooo nice and accommodating. It is greatly appreciated!

Quiet-Small-Clean-Comfortable

This small place is just like shown. We checked in for an overnight, and the checkin process was flawless. The main bed was very comfortable, and my sons said the bunkbeds were too. Can't say the same for the pull out couch, but those things are never comfortable. We immediately started catching fish, and continued too into the night. No record catches, but the boys loved it. Overall the place was very nice, with the only complaint being very weak water pressure in the bathroom, and the main bedroom wasn't as cool as the rest of the house. I spoke with the owner, and he plans to address the water issue. Excellent communication with the owner, and he was very responsive. Outside the water pressure, I'd definitely stay there again, and I'd recommend to friends. Still giving it 5 stars, because I as able to get a good night sleep, and although it took a little longer to rinse off in the shower, it worked. Thanks again to the owner, and keep up the good work.

Can’t wait to go back

We absolutely loved staying here! The fishing was amazing! The kids loved going out on the Jon Boat to fish. The house was very clean and the queen bed was very comfortable. If you’re looking for a little get away and you love the outdoors I would definitely recommend staying here. We can’t wait to plan another trip to stay here.

Perfect

My wife and I were in Commerce for a wedding and wanted a place in Commerce to stay for the weekend. Found this little gem and couldnt be happier. It was clean and cozy. Welcome snacks and bottled water. Very easy check in and out instructions. Host was excellent at communication. If going to Commerce again, we will definitely be booking here.

We had a lovely time!

We were there over New Year's weekend, had a lovely time. Near Commerce, where there is a Walmart and a Brookshires and lots of eating places. Had a fire in the firepit each night, made s'mores, really nice. Just a note, you do need to bring your own drinking water. Would definitely stay there again!

Nice property!

This was a nice property! (We had trouble finding the turn off in the dark though!) It was nice to wake up to the pretty water view and sit on the front porch to drink our coffee. We had a tiny issue while we were there and James responded very promptly with a solution to take care of it.

Relaxing Getaway!! Exactly what this mother & daughters needed!!

What a cozy little getaway! Close to home yet felt like we were a world away. Great place to unplug and unwind. Everything we needed was right there. The hosts were super sweet & accommodating! We left feeling refreshed. We definitely recommend a stay at any of the 3 properties. We are already planning our next visit!!!

Lakefront

Although we had no luck catching any fish the view was amazing. Sitting by a fire by the lake was beautiful. Definitely not a complaint but no washer or dryer so if you are there for a week or longer there is also not a lot of storage room for clothes. 3 of us we made it work but I wondered how 7 would do. Again no complaints I would definitely come back if going through Texas again.

Fishing getaway

Great fishing in the private lake. Conviently located, very clean and had most everything we needed. My 4 year old loved playing with the toys there and of course fishing. My 14 year old and uncle loved the many large bass they caught and spent hours daily fishing. We actually caught more fish and larger fish there than the fishing charter for Lake Fork. My mom read and entire book from the collection there. Thank you for sharing your private lake with us. If we are ever back in the area we would gladly stay again.

Great for a short stay!

This property was about 2 minutes from the family we were visiting so it was very convenient for us. There were 3 of us and we had no issues. There was a second basket of snacks and a little jar of flowers which were a nice touch. My son loved the lightening McQueen toy. We did some fishing off the deck and saw the folks next door with a boat doing the same. The only things I’d note are that the bedroom with the bunk bed gets very hot if you close the door. We borrowed a tower fan from family so it could stay cooler until my son fell asleep and then opened the door when we went to bed. Also, early check in was not an option. Wouldn’t prevent us from staying again, just good to know to prepare accordingly!

Visitation to Bonham Texas VA.

Everything was awesome. I am a veteran so I really enjoyed the peace and quit. I was greeted by Diesel. He was very sweet and made me feel welcomed and safe. Btw I love animals. My son really enjoyed the ROKU TV. Was very accommodating.
