Let your next glamping adventure begin at this woodsy two-story cabin right on the Sandy River. You'll love waking up to the gentle sounds of rushing water while brewing your morning coffee in the well-equipped full kitchen. Traverse the excellent nearby hiking trails. If you want to venture back into civilization, you're only about 13 miles from Mt. Hood's fantastic dining selections. - and, of course, the ski slopes! When you head back for the evening, your group can reflect on the day's excursions around the outdoor fire pit or curl up on the sofa in front of the wood-burning fireplace. This home even provides board games ready for friendly competition around the dining table. Enjoy immersing in nature without sacrificing the comforts of home.

Perfect Getaway

We loved staying here! The property was immaculate, had everything we needed, was private, and cozy. You can get to the river in about a two minute walk! Would absolutely stay here again.

Loved the cabin. And loved having chairs by the river. Outdoor area very nice. Would have liked thicker towels in the kitchen and also hotpads would be nice. Almost burned my fingers. Hair dryer would be perfect. Will stay again but will bring those items.

4th time we stayed here!

everything was great as usual, comfortable beds, well stock kitchen but they installed a heat pump that would come on every 15 minutes throughout the night plus the frig was also loud running, Just don't sleep in the bedroom next to kitchen.

Mountain getaway dreams fulfilled

We were looking for a few days in the mountains. Hoping to see stars, be surrounded by woods, and lulled into relaxation with a rushing river. This cabin checked those boxes. It is tucked away in a residential neighborhood. Even with neighbors close by, it felt like we were in the woods by ourselves. The cabin had that old-cabin smell to it, but that aired out quickly. The house was stocked with all the kitchen supplies we needed. the layout was conducive to us hanging together. Would love to stay here again.

We could have done without the ants dropping from the ceiling, we suggest exterminating. Nice spot though.

This was an awesome place. We had so much fun. The weathere was nice. There was a fire pit outside. We stayed outside alot. There was a path down to the river. The house was awesome. Very clean and spacious.i would recommend this place to anyone. We wanted to come back but the dates were already taken.

Lovely and cozy

Our family of 3 had (me, my husband and our 4yo) a wonderful time! Quite unassuming from the outside, this cabin provided us a wonderful post-holiday reprieve. This house was exceptionally clean and cozy. The property is amazing, next to a river and a short 5 min drive to thriftway for any needs. Though the kitchen was fully stocked We had dinner just 20 minutes away at government camp. And one night from Koya food truck (3 min drive). Though the weather was unseasonably warm and sunny, we kept a fire burning almost all day. The beds and couch were all Super comfy. We will be back!

The best vacation in a while. Close to mount Hood, hiking, some kayaking but don’t overlook grocery store close by and beautiful golf courses at The Courses down from shopping. Reasonable prices for food. The cabin looks great as pictured, clean, and suppled well. Bridge over Creek gets you to rocky river where there are 2 comfortable chairs. We loved it.

cozy cabin in the woods!

I had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin in the woods! Check-in and check-out were super simple, and everything went smoothly. The cabin is nestled in a beautiful, secluded spot surrounded by trees, with a lovely path and little bridge that leads to a small beach on the riverfront—complete with two chairs to relax and take it all in. The cabin was very clean and had a well-stocked kitchen, which made it easy to cook meals during my stay. I’d recommend bringing your own coffee grounds and filters—there were just enough filters left for me to use, which was a lucky bonus! The WiFi and TV worked just fine for what I needed. I was attending a 3-day Animal Reiki class just across the highway (about 1/4 mile away) at the Wildwood Recreation Center. It’s an absolutely beautiful park with forested trails, peaceful picnic areas, and a swimming spot on the Salmon River. Overall, this place was a peaceful retreat and had everything I needed. I’ll definitely be returning!

A great glamping cabin

5/5 for the cabin itself. Kids loved it and it was well stocked. Fire pit out back was great for roasting marshmallows and walk by the stream was an adventure. Water , however, had a strong metallic smell and taste---we were very concerned about that. Vacasa absolutely needs to address that. The exterior could have been better maintained--cushions needed dusting and wiping, driveway was overgrown in parts. Aside from these, it was as the description stated, roomy and charming.

Amazing!

This cabin was more than amazing- beautiful in every way. The trail to the river was our favorite hidden surprise. The backyard is a stunning Oregon oasis. We loved visiting the Wildwood Recreation Site just across the highway. The place was clean and spacious for our family of 4 including two young adults. We loved it!

Cabin getaway

Great place, tucked away near the river but within a ten minute drive to grocery stores and other amenities. It was quiet, clean, peaceful and relaxed. Would recommend. Plenty of things to keep you occupied with family or just to have a quiet getaway to relax.
