Great Big Family Stay!

Had a big family stay here and the amenities were great! Plenty of rooms and we loved that there was a bathroom for each room. Also super close to new river gorge NP for great hiking!

Great Place

My family stayed the weekend and went rafting. Great location. The place is huge with plenty of room for everyone and the hosts were the best. Will stay again.

Fourth of July getaway

The Lodge was perfect for our group of 30. Everyone had their own space, there was plenty of seating, and loved the homestead with the animals, fire pit, fishing pond, and play area for the kids. Would recommend!

Outstanding

This is a very nice place to stay and is close to The New River Gorge National Park also close to Babcock State Park. The Toney's are great host and will take care of your needs.

We had a really enjoyable stay and overall thought the property was great. The house was clean, comfortable, spacious, and well equipped for our group. The kitchen was excellent to cook in and the bedrooms were cozy. Ken was very friendly and welcoming, and we really appreciated that he gave us our space throughout the stay while still being available if we needed anything.The only thing we would mention is that we had expected the property to be a little more secluded based on the listing. At various points we could hear the dog barking and some violin playing through the walls. Neither was a major issue, and the hosts themselves were very nice, it was simply something we weren't expecting going into the stay.Overall, we had a great weekend and really enjoyed our stay. We'd happily stay here again and appreciate Ken's hospitality.

Wonderful place for a family reunion.

The property was perfect. The owners are very accommodating and delightful. There are many activities available for the young and old. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone looking for a place that is peaceful, has various activities on site, and has many adventures nearby.

Great stay

Great property , meant all our needs touring the area and National Scout Jamboree. Is pretty isolated from stores and restaurants. Kids wish they had Wi-Fi but we did have cell service with both At+t and Verizon. The hosts were on site and very helpful and friendly.

Great location & wonderful hosts.

We had a 20 member family vacation & chose this location for something new and different. We were not disappointed. Our Hosts were friendly, courteous and helpful. The property is located near many outdoor activities which we took full advantage of. Some of our group suffered withdrawal symptoms because there wad no Wi-Fi or internet, and the cell phone reception was in & out. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the farm animals and feeding them. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a big house to accommodate a large group. Fun for all!

“Perfect for our family “.

Our family of 24 from 22 months to 74 years old had plenty of room. Lots to do there at the lodge before and after our excursions. Many memories were made! Thank you Ken and family. You were excellent host’s and made us feel at home.

Awesome place for a large group!

We stayed at this place for 3 nights and had a wonderful with family and friends. It was blissful to watch the sunset from the front porch of this property. Rooms were clean and as advertised. Great place to hangout for a large group. Kitchen was fully equipped to cook for a large group. Highly recommend this place for family reunions or other large group gatherings.

The property actually looks better in person than online photos.

I enjoyed my stay here. I visit WV 1-2 times a year to go whitewater rafting and this was my first time staying here. I like the accommodations- beds were soft and the water was hot even with 22 ppl staying there. The location was a little farther away from town than I’d like but other than that we enjoyed our weekend get away.

Great place for a large group!

A wonderful place to stay. The pictures don’t do justice to how gorgeous and spacious the place is! It makes you feel right at home. There is plenty of room and all the accommodations that you need for a large group. The kitchen is amazing for cooking for all the people too. We stayed two nights for my friend’s 30th birthday. One night was family night and all of our friends were able to stay the second night. It was perfect for either! Two gorgeous summer nights. The large covered porch still made it possible to enjoy the evening outside when it rained. We had so much fun and won’t forget how generous our hosts were for providing a wonderful, private place like this to celebrate.

Wonderful family reunion

We had a fantastic family reunion with 27 people and this place was perfect! Plenty of room, large kitchen for all our group meals, fire pit for camp fires, and great location near Babcock and the New River Gorge. Ken was very helpful and friendly. Thanks for the memories.

Our family reunion was a huge success. The cabin indeed matches the photos & Mr. Toney is extremely cordial & helpful, the cabin was spotless & grounds were neat and clean. We were at full capacity & still were not at all crowded. I would HIGHLY recommend renting this for large gatherings.
