fantastic property.
Located at 15400 s 3566 rd Eckerman mi - just outside of trout lake .
We do have WiFi
Cabin is 1/2 mile off the main road with full power and facilities which sleep 7.
King bed in bedroom 1 and twin over full bunk bed in the other .. there is also a queen futon in the living room.

Great Place

Lovely property, cabin has everything needed. Remote so felt private but tons of places around if you don’t mind a little driving. Great value.

Up north getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great communication with the owners. Nice proximity to Mackinac Island, the Soo Locks and Whitefish Point. Great property!

Bird hunting trip

The rental unit was great for our small group to use for a bird hunting trip. Very clean and great looking property. Close drive to several bird covers. Great to find a rental that is pet friendly and well maintained near good hunting area. Cell service and wi-fi are hit and miss, but that’s the UP in general. Would definitely recommend.

Secluded hideaway

Nice property set back in the woods and perfect location to ride right onto snowmobile trail.

Property owner was easy to deal with and even offered early entry if we wanted. Nice location set back off the road and trail, and plenty of cleared space for multiple vehicles and trailers.

Piece and Quiet

This little house is in the middle of nowhere. If your looking for somewhere quiet, this is a great little place. Loved sitting out on the deck watching the hummingbirds and grilling. There is a town within 10 minutes with good restaurants. ATV/snowmobile trails just down the lane. I would book again.

Wonderful family stay

There was 5 of us. 2 seniors, 2 younger adults and a 2 year old child. We were very comfortable there. The cabin was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Lovely views of huge wooded yard. The Host was extremely accommodating and very responsive. It all made our experience really relaxing and pleasure able. We will definitely be back!

Great little place

Hosts were very communicative and helpful. The cabin is well stocked with necessities. Plenty of space for our family of 6. Lots of mosquitos, even with bug spray and citronella, which made it impossible to enjoy the outdoors. We used the location mainly for sleeping as we spent our days out exploring the UP! Centrally located to all the sites we wanted to see. We would definitely stay again.

Off the beaten path

Stayed a couple nights to go to Pictured Rocks and Tahquamenon Falls. Everything was as described in the listing. Would possibly be nice to have some type of curtains in the living room since you can use the couch as a bed.

Cozy Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay at Deerfoot Cabin. The cabin was very comfortable, clean, and well stocked. The location and large wooded property were what drew us to this cabin. It's fairly centrally located to Taquamenon Falls, Whitefish Point, and Sault Ste. Marie, all of which we visited. We also really enjoyed the hosts beautiful property, with access to trails. We were able to bring our dog along with us, stretch our legs, and explore nature simply by walking out the door of the cabin and down the long, secluded driveway to the trails. Would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing stay in the woods

Nice secluded property in the woods. Close to many/mowt recreational attractions in the areas (Falls, Pictured Rocks, scenic trails, etc) - all 1.5 or less away. There is another larger house next to this one but didnt have anyone there our first half of visit and even afterwards remained very peaceful and quiet. A great place to "get away from it all" and relax in nature. Be forewarned however, the mosquitos are everywhere and relentless so be sure to bring/buy plenty of bugspray! Overall we enjoyed our stay and thought it was a good value for the price paid.
