Snowmobile and orv trail cross the driveway of this
fantastic property.
Located at 15400 s 3566 rd Eckerman mi - just outside of trout lake .
We do have WiFi
Cabin is 1/2 mile off the main road with full power and facilities which sleep 7.
King bed in bedroom 1 and twin over full bunk bed in the other .. there is also a queen futon in the living room.
Full kitchen: stove fridge coffee pot and microwave
Tub and shower unit , sink, and toilet in bathroom

BBQ grill and fire pit
Tv and DVD player
Wii / board games / card games
Horseshoes and corn hole boards

Deer partridge and many other wildlife abound on the property

This cabin is a pocket of paradise, wonderfully secluded and it had everything we could need. We especially enjoyed the deck where we had coffee in the morning and watched the birds. Our only problem was that the person ahead of us messed up the tv and although we contacted our host, we weren't told how to fix it. So we couldn't watch anything all week.

Perfect place to sleep! Hotels in the area are way more expensive & this gives you the “Michigan” experience. We couldn’t enjoy the fire pit & make s’mores like we wanted because the mosquitoes were insanely bad but other than that our trip was great! The house is equipped with more than plenty of supplies which was nice too! I know this area is mainly used by people who go for snowmobiling & trail riding which we would’ve loved to have been doing if we still had our toys but we were just visiting family & an extra mirror or two would’ve been handy for us girls getting around but we made do! Would definitely recommend and/or stay again! Also adding that I loved the kiddo friendly outside stuff considering we had my two year old son with us!

Bird hunting trip

The rental unit was great for our small group to use for a bird hunting trip. Very clean and great looking property. Close drive to several bird covers. Great to find a rental that is pet friendly and well maintained near good hunting area. Cell service and wi-fi are hit and miss, but that’s the UP in general. Would definitely recommend.

Great Place

Lovely property, cabin has everything needed. Remote so felt private but tons of places around if you don’t mind a little driving. Great value.

I was amazed with the isolation of the cabin, It wasn't something I was looking for, but when I saw the way it was advertised, I thought I would give it a try. It was a really good experience.

Piece and Quiet

This little house is in the middle of nowhere. If your looking for somewhere quiet, this is a great little place. Loved sitting out on the deck watching the hummingbirds and grilling. There is a town within 10 minutes with good restaurants. ATV/snowmobile trails just down the lane. I would book again.

Wonderful family stay

There was 5 of us. 2 seniors, 2 younger adults and a 2 year old child. We were very comfortable there. The cabin was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Lovely views of huge wooded yard. The Host was extremely accommodating and very responsive. It all made our experience really relaxing and pleasure able. We will definitely be back!

Cozy Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay at Deerfoot Cabin. The cabin was very comfortable, clean, and well stocked. The location and large wooded property were what drew us to this cabin. It's fairly centrally located to Taquamenon Falls, Whitefish Point, and Sault Ste. Marie, all of which we visited. We also really enjoyed the hosts beautiful property, with access to trails. We were able to bring our dog along with us, stretch our legs, and explore nature simply by walking out the door of the cabin and down the long, secluded driveway to the trails. Would definitely stay here again!

Had a great time Cabin had everything you would need including kitchen essentials flour sugar zipper bags the listing says no air conditioning but there was a window unit kept the place perfectly cool I would give it a 10 out of 10

Secluded hideaway

Snowmobilers dream - Our driveway goes 1/2 mile back into the woods.. secluded from everything and the trail is off the driveway !

Private and secluded. We have the only 2 cabins back in that stretch of woods :)
