Welcome to our renovated 1970’s park side cabin! This cute cabin is located in Cuiver River State Park and is close by many hiking trails. The cabin is a three bedroom and two bath, which is great for family trips or just a weekend getaway. The park itself consists of 6,400 acres in northeastern Missouri and is made up of limestone bluffs, forest hills and Lake Lincoln which spans 55 acres. We highly suggest; hiking, biking, running, kayaking, fishing, and taking pictures in the park. Make sure to bring your bike, kayak or fishing gear to have the best time possible while at our park side cabin. Our park side cabin has a simi stocked kitchen to help improve your stay.

Cozy cabin

The cabin was super cute and perfectly roomy for our group! The only thing that docks this rating from a 5 to a 4 is the lack of a dishwasher, so we had to wash all our dishes. Also, the upstairs queen/full bed was not very comfortable.

Great Location

My family and I enjoyed our stay. Location is great. We were going to the St. Louis but wanted a quieter area to stay and this place did not disappoint. Serene locale yet mere minutes away from Troy and its numerous amenities. No issues, would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

Quaint semi rural area perfect for a quiet time, amenities perfect, very clean, inside was clean and beautiful scenery. The only problem was the Vrbo app made it very difficult to communicate with the owner....0 points for the app.

Great location, great home.

A group of us stayed here to attend a co-workers wedding. The house was a perfect fit for our group. Quite and serene location, close to Troy, and plenty of amenities to enjoy.

Just what we needed

Had a wonderful stay after doing the hotel route for this trip too many times it was nice to spread out in this spacious home. It was close to where we were visiting, so it was very convenient. Too cold for the river but might have to try that at a warmer time

Cute house/cabin

Great place to rent for a few days. It was very clean, the hosts provided us with delicious muffins. They also provided all the basics including everything you could need in the kitchen, a washer/dryer and a charcoal grill outside. A few things to note, which are more of a heads up, nothing against the hosts or the cabin. There is only one tv, the cabin is very close to the road which was busy (guessing that was due to it being Memorial Day weekend) and the thermostat was set to where it couldn't go below 70 degrees, this left the house a little warmer than we are used to, especially upstairs. The large ceiling fans helped create a nice breeze.

Perfect getaway

Went for a New Years getaway with our daughter and friends Everything was like walking into home from the first step into the property. It was clean, comfy and the added touches from the host topped it all off......from the slippers, we'll stocked kitchen and the added New Years treats our host left!

Cute & Comfy Home

This cute and comfy home was perfect for our stay near Cuivre River State Park. Everything we needed was provided for us. Super clean and very nicely decorated. Three big bedrooms and two full baths were awesome! The kitchen was so cute and clean as well. Madeline was great and got right back to us when we had a question. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great Experience

This house was just as described………clean and comfortable. The hosts were quick to answer questions both before booking and during our stay. I would not hesitate to stay here again if our travels ever take us back!

Spacious and Close to State Park

Our stay here was really nice. The park was super close by so we drove there for the scenery and hiking. The house was clean and had more than enough room and space for my parents and I. We could easily have had more people comfortably staying here. There is a child gate at the top of the stairs which could be helpful for those with young children or dogs. There is no dishwasher, but the kitchen came with cleaning items and cleanup was simple. There is a helpful binder with things to do and how to check out, etc. The hosts really put in effort to make sure you feel welcome. Also, the location is quiet, but there are some nice restaurants nearby. We would recommend the lasagna for Taormina's.

Wonderful for Cousins' Weekend

This property is wonderful. Clean, Amenities, Cute. 1) It is immaculate! 2) Well appointed--Sheets and towels ("luxurious"-cousin quote) stocked with kitchen, bathroom, laundry room essentials. 3) Décor is cute, updated, tasteful and comfy--nice small deck outside. We were able to gather, talk, eat in this relaxing, welcoming space. It was perfect--highly recommend. THANK YOU to our hosts for everything and providing this space for Cousins Weekend 2022!

The 70's Park Side cabin is great for a weekend getaway or family vacations. It offers the "glamping" experience. Cuiver River State Park is a wonderful place to go hiking, camping, kayaking, and have pictures taken. We love the park so much we even had our wedding photos taken here.
