Paradise awaits! Karen’s Beach House is a lovely, Mediterranean-inspired vacation rental in the heart of Destin’s Miramar Beach. Located in the gated Caribe neighborhood, the home offers privacy, convenient beach access, and great amenities. This stately home features four bedrooms and can accommodate up to eight beachgoers.

Upon arrival, guests are immediately transported a tropical escape that many daydream about. Everything from the multi-level roof design with terra cotta tiles, covered veranda and breezy balcony, paver drive, and immaculate setting curated with palms and tropical plants breathes life and relaxation into the soul. Inside, the first floor’s open great room is characterized by travertine marble floors, high ceilings, and beachy décor. The living area sits on the right side of the entryway. It features a white sofa and two matching, oversized white armchairs. The comfortable seating ensemble faces a chic, built-in entertainment center with a flatscreen TV and shelves adorned with coastal accents. On the other side of the entrance, the sunlit dining area boasts multiple glass-paned doors that let in warm, ambient light. The glass-topped dining table is surrounded by eight straw-woven chairs and sits beneath an elegant chandelier. Adjacent to the dining area is an open kitchen. The kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, spacious counters, a pantry, and a raised breakfast bar with leather director-style chairs.

Two of the home’s cozy bedrooms are located on the first floor. One is a master bedroom with a king-size bed, handsome furnishings, patio access, and a luxury bath with a walk-in shower and soaking tub. The other is a spacious master suite with a queen-size, tropically patterned sofa, patio access, a bedside kitchenette and café table, and an en-suite bath. The remaining sleeping quarters are upstairs. There is a large guest suite with a queen-size bed and a private bath, which also has access to a private lake view balcony. The other bedroom features two twin beds and sunny windows. An extra den on this level offers additional sleeping accommodations in the form of a burgundy sofa that doubles as a queen-size sleeper sofa. Ascend a set of stairs to access the bonus loft, which includes a wet bar and access to a breezy observation deck.

In addition to the comforts provided by this home, guests can also take advantage of the gated community’s top-notch amenities. These include two sparkling swimming pools, tennis courts, and private beach access. The walk to the shimmering Gulf is short and picturesque, complete with tree-lined streets, tropical landscaping, and a glassy lake with a geyser. Another benefit of booking a stay at this beautiful home is its convenient Miramar Beach location. Guests are near an abundance of coastal amusements, including popular restaurants and shops, as well as the enchanting Village of Baytowne Wharf, Silver Sands Premium Outlets, and Grand Boulevard of Sandestin.

*This home only allows for eight people of all ages to stay the night and only permits weekly reservations per community association regulations.

*Tents and canopies are not allowed on the beach. Large umbrellas can be rented through the onsite beach service.
