Birthday weekend

Exceptional location. Nice house and porches were a welcome addition to the stay. Would recommend property manager to speak to her cleaning service and have them do a better job. By doing so, I feel it would enhance any guest stay. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

LUVA MY LAVALLETTE

Lucretia made us so feel so welcome in their beautiful seashore cottage. House was immaculate, all the comforts of home, made a wonderful connection and enjoyed our time there tremendously. Walking distance to stores, church, easy access to beach. Been vacationing in Lavallette since the 60s when I was a young girl and I must say, never in all my years have I had such a relaxing and enjoyable vacation thanks to our superb hosts. Our kiddieboppers (grandkids) had a blast & cried when it was time to go. They loved hanging out on the porch playing games. Will definitely return. Thank you for making our stay most memorable!! Looking forward to 2024!

Nice Place To Stay

Nice place to stay. Enough room for family to sleep, watch tv & to just hang out and chat. Close to beach & stores. Owners live behind house, so convenient if you need to communicate with them. Would recommend this house.

We LOVE Lavallette!

We really enjoyed this house. The location is amazing … a minute walk to the beautiful beach. Our teenagers loved walking to the close by shops and restaurants. We spent a lot of time on the roomy porch and grilling in the back yard. The owner is super attentive and worked very hard to make our vacation perfect!

Memorial Day Weekend

Lucretia was such a pleasant host. The property was a few houses from the beach and had plenty of room. Outdoor shower was a bonus and the front porch was so comfortable and relaxing! We would definitely come again.

Excellent Location! Close to the Beach! Nice Neighborhood!

Thanks so much for renting this cute quaint house in beautiful Lavalette! The location can't be beat. You can walk to restaurants, shops, and more! The beach is right there and so clean. People are so friendly. There is plenty of space and areas to enjoy with loved ones in this house. I love the birds and gardens. The neat outdoor shower reminds me of the old days down the shore with family. We had a good time. Lucretia is a great host and her husbsnd is a very nice man. They are close by but they don't over watch your stay. Nice people!

Perfect for a family get away

This is the perfect beach cottage for our family of 3 adults, 2 teens, and 1 infant. The location made it easy to go back and forth to the beach for lunch and baby naps. We also enjoyed being able to walk to shops and restaurants. The house has multiple eating areas, multiple lounging areas, and plenty of room for all the extra stuff that infants require. The enclosed porch is the perfect drop spot for the stroller, beach chairs, and boogie boards. We spent so much time on the front porch enjoying the breeze and the flowers. This is a home we would happily return to.

Great house and location

It’s super close to the beach which was great with my small children. The indoor and outdoor porches were also great features and there are multiple eating areas.

Great get away

House is cute with walking distance to beach and restaurants. We didn't know we needed bed linens as our previous rental provided, but that was handled quickly. Would return again :)

Lavalette stay, June 2021

We cannot say enough how much we enjoyed our stay. The property was clean, the location was top notch ( Lavalette is arguable the best beachside community in the Shore), and the owner was available for any questions we had. Our family of 5 suited the property perfectly, and we will most definitely be reserving this location again!

Wonderful for kids and families

The house is very clean and beautiful. It is a close walk to the beach, to get ice cream or a coffee shop. The kids had room to run around and still be safe. We would love to come back and stay here again! The renters were very sweet and quick to respond when needed : )

After some initial cleanliness issues which the landlord addressed all was fine. The landlord is a gracious host and she lives in an adjacent dwelling . She is discrete but always available .

The place hasn't been properly cleaned in years - DIRTY!

I was appalled at how dirty this property was and was embarrassed that I had booked it for my friends and me. I got there first and the floors were sticky and disgusting, cobwebs in the corner of the living room ceiling. I assume dog hair all over the place. The place clearly had not been cleaned except for perhaps the kitchen sink and dishes and the bathroom sink and shower. Adorable old house but filthy and the owner lives right behind the house so there is was a creepy feeling that she was going into the house when we were not there.... Simply the worst place I have ever rented on VRBO. I spent the first night cleaning and contacted the owner for a credit and she said no problem. In the end she had the nerve to withhold part of my deposit for a made up damage on an dryer that was already broken before we got there. STEER CLEAR OF THIS PROPERTY.

Amazing location in Lavallette!

My family just returned from a long weekend in Lavallette. It was a great trip and the house perfectly fit our needs. The location cannot be beat. It was a two minute walk to the beach with a liquor store and Megs Grill on the corner. The pictures are a little outdated on the listing, so I was pleasantly surprised to see some updated furniture when we arrived. My favorite part of the house was the incredible front porch and the outdoor shower.

Wonderful stay!

This home - just a block from the beach - is lovely and well maintained. Between the front patio, porch, and backyard there's so much beautiful outdoor space. We loved our stay! Lucretia was also a very accommodating and responsive host.
