Lakeview Lodge

My wife and I are local to the area and enjoy all the typical outdoor activities. We enjoy snow sports, rafting, paddle boarding, fishing, lake days, hiking, mountain biking and days at the shooting range. We are a family that enjoys hunting, whether that be for big game, wild turkeys or mushrooms. We are down to earth people that want to give other people an experience of the paradise that we call home.

The property is nestled in the tall pine trees of a subdivision called Forest Lakes. In the summer afternoons, the trees can be heard sending good vibes down through the neighborhood. When in the neighborhood, it feels as though each house is a distance away, since most lots are 1/2 acre to a full acre in lot size. Lakeview Lodge has a beautiful view of the Lake Simpatico, which local residents fish and paddle board on. This property has an abundance of wildlife that meanders and coexists with property owners. One can expect to see an abundance of deer, turkey's, racoons and the occasional bear (not quiet Yogi, but still looking for some snacks). It is about a 25-30 minute drive to Durango, which is the epicenter of fun in the area. This house has the locality of having fun in Durango, mixed with the games and entertainment of a full size house. This house has a fooseball table, a pool table, a outside shuffle board table, a golf putting game, corn hole boards and an old style arcade game unit with 60 games. This is no ordinary house and your hosts are determined to make this an adventure you will always remember.

As stated before, the house has some great benefits to explore. The house has a 7.5ft pool table to stretch out and enjoy yourselves with. The basement, also known as Wild Turkey's Pub, has a seating area and a bar to gather around. The bar will be stocked with some wine and spirits (for additional charges). The house also is home to a 55" fooseball table, which is easy to play and is always loads of fun for people of all ages. The house has an arcade game unit that hosts 60 of the traditional games on it, including: Pacman, Mrs. Pacman, Donkey Kong, Gallaga, Asteroids and Centipede. We also have a table top shuffle board game with sliding pucks, that is always a great outdoor activity for the porch. Lastly, golf enthusiasts can play Golf Pong, or just practice your putting skills by playing this golf game inside or out on the porch. Our beautiful view of the lake makes for quiet and relaxing evenings. One can unwind from hectic life stresses and soak up the views of the lake, mountain backdrop, wild life and the peaceful serenity that we (hosts) call home!
