Unit 115 comfortably sleeps 4 - King size bed in bedroom and queen hide abed in living room. TV is located in the living room . Fully furnished unit including beach towels and beach chairs. Views of Haleakala and West Maui Mountains from your lanai - amazing sunsets nightly - ocean sounds 24/7. Walk the 7 miles of beach literally steps from the lanai of unit 115. Pool is heated - the hot tub and pool deck open until 10:00 PM. During the 2nd week of September every year the pool is closed for maintenance (starting the 2nd Monday in September). Also enjoy the sauna, gas barbeques and a putting green. Parking for unit115 is covered. Located in North Kihei - convenient to the airport, Wailea, and Lahaina. Grocery shopping and 100's of restaurants just minutes away.

Best stay ever

Everything was as advertised. The location itself is the best on the island. Would highly recommend anybody looking for a relaxing place not in the middle of everywhere. But very close to everywhere.

Pictures don’t do this place justice. It was STUNNING. Very clean, has everything you need to cook and stay a while. The bath towels are thick and so soft! Check in and check out was so easy! The pool was my kids favorite! And they even have a sauna which we loved!! 12/10 recommend. We will definitely be back!!!

Great condo

The condo is wonderful. Good location right on the beach. Clean. Well stocked kitchen. Comfortable bed. Quiet. Great sunsets.Walking distance to farmers market and 15 min drive to supermarket. this was our second year here and plan on coming back for 2026

30 wedding anniversary celebration

This was a wonderful location to spend our 30th wedding anniversary. Kehei is a great place for dining and adventure with lots of stuff to do.

Great Location

We loved the location and being on the ground floor for easy access to the beach. The place had everything we needed and we enjoyed the beach and pool in the late afternoon when the winds picked up. Sugar Beach is centrally located and was very easy to travel the the beaches on west Maui as well as south Maui. This will definitely be our first choice on our next trip to Maui.

This place was amazing. We arrived 4 hrs early. I would’ve booked the day before if I would have known the check in time was 4pm. The pull out couch needs a new mattress. All in all 💯😊❤️.

Great stay

Great communication! Very clean. Kitchen well stocked and clean. Nicely decorated. Could have used more than 1 roll of toilet paper for staying for a week for a family of 4, and also would have been nice to have some shampoo/conditioner more than the small trial size (just the cheap stuff!).

Great location

The place was just like the photos. The beach proximity is literally steps from the patio. The furnishings are comfortable including the bed. The central AC was very welcome as that is not the norm in Hawaii. It would be nice if there were beach chairs available but the beach towels provided worked.

What a view

Sugar Beach was just as I remembered from my childhood. We enjoyed the white sand beach, and pool area only steps from our lanai. The unit was well stocked for our cooking needs., and the bed was super comfy. The view from the lanai was amazing!

Perfect location central to all of Maui. Can’t beat the oceanfront view just steps away from the beach and also steps away from the pool for best of both worlds! Best bang for your buck here with all amenities included. Would 100% stay here again.

Great place to stay

This was our second time staying at this resort and this time we stayed in the bottom floor with the beach view. The condo was great, clean, easy to check in, and relaxing. Room that is right on the beach. It was great to just walk out of the room and be on the beach. We will be staying here in the future.

Great Stay

Loved the condo- bed was comfortable. More than enough linens Kitchen well stocked Furniture in living room was nice We have been coming to Hawaii for 49 years. Will come back to sugar beach next year!

Second time staying here!

Our second visit was much like the first, magical! The condo sits maybe 20 feet away from the water. I highly suggest staying here if you’re looking for beach front, it doesn’t get much better. We will stay here again the next time we come visit!

Paradise

right on the beach with a sliding door. quiet property with a good amount of privacy. no loud nuisances - just the beauty of waves crashing. First VRBO experience. Chris communicated about property access and time parameters clearly. Lots of comforts of home as far as cooking supplies and sunblock and any little thing you might imagine. Way better than a hotel. Very comfortable bed. Nice shower. Newer remodel done and appliances.

family vacation

Unit met expectations. Has useful utensils (tongs, knives, spatulas, etc) and good selection of pots/pans. Has enough dishware to cover a few days before dishwasher. Bedroom mattress was terrific! We used internet TV to watch local news. The cable TV box didn't work (wouldn't turn on, tried with working electric outlets). We appreciated the first floor unit for easy access to beach and pool.

Family Vacation

My husband and I took our daughter to Maui for a senior graduation trip. We loved the first floor walk out condo steps from the beach, view, and amenities. Sugar Beach is a beautiful location and we had a great vacation.

Beautiful spot

This place is wonderful and a great location to the beach and pool. The king size bed is comfortable, but the pullout couch isn’t great. We had to buy our own beach chairs, sand toys, and floaties, as well as some plastic plates and bowls so we wouldn’t be fearful of our kids breaking dishes at meal time. Be advised, Kihei, and sugar beach specifically is very windy. If you want to swim at the beach, do so in the mornings before the wind kicks up. We did not receive much communication from Chris, but it all worked out. Probably wouldn’t stay here again, but that isn’t because of the unit, we would just prefer a less windy part of the island.

Excellent waterfront property!

I snorkeled in the beach outside the condo and it was fantastic! Swimming with turtles every time. I would advise to have water shoes or snorkel right away so as to avoid cutting your feet on the coral.
