While not directly on the lake, this idyllic, lake view property is just across the lake road with a commanding view of Cuba Lake. Conveniently located within easy walking distance to Cuba Lake Marina, Carpies restaurant (less than 5 minutes walking), yacht club, and public boat put-in (.7 miles). There is plentiful parking in a circular driveway for all of your cars, boats and toys.

The upper patio has a picnic table for outdoor dining that comfortably sits 8 people. The gorgeous, large yard backs up to a lush forest and features a lovely firepit area with Adirondack chairs. There's an open lawn great for cornhole or other fun games, or just laying in the sun looking out over the lake.

This romantic, comfortable, and recently updated cottage features 2 bedrooms downstairs and 2 bedrooms upstairs. Upstairs bedrooms include one queen room, and one kids' room with 1 full bed and a twin bed. There is also a cozy upstairs loft/nook with bean bag chairs and a smart TV.

This home has brand new paint, fixtures, plumbing, water system, furniture and decor. We are a family-owned and operated rental with a few other properties on the lake-- don't hesitate to ask us about Cottages 18 & 50. If you've got a large group coming into town, we'd love to bundle the cottage rentals for a discount.

This pet-friendly property is ideal for existing lake homeowners and renters that need more bedrooms during the high season.

Charming rustic cottage by the lake

The cottage was stocked well for larger families. Also was very clean and comfortable. plenty of parking available.would highly recommend this cottage.

Lovely house overlooking Cuba Lake

This property was as described - quaint, cozy and conveniently located. We had a family reunion over the long weekend and found that the property included almost everything we needed. We did have a problem connecting to the WIFI. The password would not work and we had to reboot the nest and the router which meant changing to the factory password. We reached out to the host through text, phone and through the VRBO app and it took many hours for her to respond. By then, our son had figured it out but that was 36 hours into the visit. Sounds like no big deal - it was nice not to have TV - but it severely limited our ability to connect with the outside world. We have T-mobile and there was zero cell service in the house. We stood on the porch to talk or text and without WIFI our communication was very limited. But - we enjoyed our stay. Cuba is a cute community and we had a fabulous breakfast at the Kopper Keg on Main Street. All in all, a wonderful experience.

Family vacation

The property was beautiful the view was amazing..we loved being on the lake..very easy to rent pantoon boat for the day...only downside is there is no central AC only fans to some that may not matter but it made for uncomfortable sleeping.. overall I would stay again.. very clean home..the fire at night was wonderful!

Perfect for us!

We had the best week enjoying all aspects of the guest house from the outdoor swing, fire pit, big backyard, front porch chairs with great view to family dinners around the big table with a kitchen equipped with everything we needed to prepare those meals! Relaxing conversations in the comfy living room! Our host Aimee was quick to return any messages we sent or questions we asked! In everyone’s opinion it was a great experience!!

Cute house, nice location

The good; the house is cute and an earshot to the lAke. Weather is good in even winter months so you can walk around easily. It is fast to get to olean and Cuba to shop and walk around, get food, etc. House is laid out well, the upstairs is huge and the living space is good. It was clean, and the yard is a good size. The kitchen had everything needed ans the bathrooms had so many towels. The oven worked really nice. There are ladybugs EVERYWHERE they were not bothersome but there are sure a lot of them. My kids loved it. The bad: The water does not smell great, maybe we’ll water, I am not sure but it was sulfuric smelling “eggs”. There is no phone service. I have ATT and when my family members who live in the area visited they also did not have phone service. This was not a huge deal for me, but I can see how it could be for someone else staying here. The heat: is hard to work The check out time; different on the posted info on the refrigerator than what is emailed and advertised (not a huge deal) This WILL be the house I now stay in when I go to olean.

Nostalgic for us. We visited Cuba Lake19 years ago and stayed in a family cottage very similar to the Guest House. The perfect cottage feel and two full bathrooms was a treat.

Weekend at Cuba Lake

This property was more than enough space for my family of four. We came up from Florida to celebrate my grandfather’s 100th birthday. This place was super convenient to Cuba with a beautiful view of the Lake each morning. My kids loved the little loft area and my husband and I enjoyed the old fashioned charm of this place, especially the canvas prints from around old Cuba. We will 100% stay here again!!!

Great family lake house

Communication with property owners was great, check in & out process was easy to follow. The house itself was beautiful, roomy, and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again, also considering one of their lake front properties for future stays at the lake.

Lake view guest house

We had a great week visiting family and really appreciated the location of the the Lake view guest house. A large 4 bedroom house, 2 full bathrooms, and extremely clean. The owner Aimee reached out several times to ask if we needed anything. There was an air conditioner in one upstairs bedroom was greatly appreciated as our week had very high temperatures. Thank you for a great stay Aimee!

We're the Phillips Family...some of us grew up in Wellsville, New York and spent our summers at Cuba Lake, and some of us are out-of-towners who share a love for the history, community and beauty of the lake and Western New York. We love to travel the world, meet new people, and drink good whiskey with friends and family.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

After spending so much time at the lake, we realized there's never enough space for our whole family to be here all at once. We love this property because it supports a lot of people, plus their pets, and is walking distance to the fantastic Carpies and the Marina. It may not be right on the lake, but it's easy to bring your boats and trailers and get on the lake every day. It has a gorgeous yard that backs up to forest, with fire-pit, outdoor fireplaces and an adorable swing overlooking the lake. It's just a great place to make memories at Cuba Lake.
