Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was well appointed with everything we needed. We enjoyed the pool and ocean views on the deck. We also appreciated the location-a quick walk to the ocean.

Amazing location and close to beach

Gorgeous home, clean and fits 9 adults very comfortable! We loved you can see and hear the ocean from the balcony being 2 blocks from it. The walk to the beach was about 9 mins. The ad on vrbo says 2 mins. Home was clean but had a centipede problem all over outside of house and some in pool. Also found several in house as well.

Great Trip!!

We really liked this house. But we had a 1 year old so all the steps was not ideal for our families. It was a 7 minute walk to the beach which was not to bad but not ideal. I would not stay in the house again with our small children. But might consider staying again with older children. The pool was great. I do recommend Vacasa as a rental company… In a past trip our booked house flooded and became unavailable last minute they were beyond accommodating to find a new place to stay. So I purposefully used them again for this booking and had no issues.

Great house and location

We loved the house, the pool was perfect and the location was in walking distance to the beach. The washer and dryers on both levels were so handy and so great to use! There are lots of kitchen items available to use. Hair dryers were available. There were only a couple of negative things - during our stay, there was black mold coming out of the vents onto the ceiling on the third floor. There also are not shades present in the bathroom windows and at night they could be seen in if someone was looking that was in the house close by. Overall, we absolutely loved the house, pool and location!

Renters Beware

Mold in all bathrooms. Broken outdoor furniture. Nothing to grill on. Pictures are old on website. Ants are horrible. If I could download pictures I would but can't figure it out. They are more about the $$ than anything else. Answer back all of the time was, sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Ft Morgan

Enjoyed the laid back week at Ft Morgan. The house worked out very nicely for our family. Loved the pool. And 6-7 min walk to the beach. Wifi and cell service were good all week. All in all a great week. With that being said : The house could use some TLC. Several of the cables in the stair railings were broken, and loose. Which could be a problem with toddlers or young children. There wasn’t a stopper for the kitchen sink or the bathtub on the 2nd level. The grass needed to be cut and there were weeds growing in the cracks around the pool. The pool lights actually came on a couple of nights. Latches on the window in the upstairs bedroom were broken. Nails protruding on the decks and steps had to be hammered down so we didn’t cut our feet. The grills needed to be cleaned the big red egg one had mold growing on it. Some information about when trash would be picked up would have been nice.

Overall good stay!

Overall, the house was great! We stayed with two families, 5 kids Toto’s. There was plenty of room for everyone. We were a little disappointed that we never got a resolution for the grill. There is not a gas grill like the listing says, rather a charcoal grill that appeared to be so old and burned that the entire bottom had fallen through before our arrival. With so many little kids we were depending on eating a home, most items of which we would have preferred to grill. I’m not sure if it’s stated in the listing but the pool is not heated. There are a lot of stairs, which wasn’t a problem at all for us but I think it would be important to know for older or multigenerational families visiting. The house was clean, beds were clean and sand free (always seems to be a problem) and the walk to the beach wasn’t bad! Overall it was a good week!

Beautiful House!

This is a beautiful house with beautiful decor. We shared the house with our older son, his wife & 3 grandchildren and our 17yr old & his girlfriend. There was plenty of room for everyone and we turned the sunroom with the sofa bed into a 5th bedroom. We loved the top deck with beautiful views and you can hear the ocean from there at night. The pool was wonderful and we had a lot of night swims. There was some pool tools but we also used our own. It would have been nice to have a wagon at the house for the 2 block walk to the beach. Also, there is ALOT of steps! The kitchen, living room & master bedroom are on the 3rd floor so you will get your steps in! There was not a gas grill which was advertised in the listing and I even emailed a week before we were there asking for one to replace the missing one (saw there wasn’t one in prior reviews) and we only had a not very good charcoal grill that we had to buy charcoal etc. We grilled out a lot so it was a big deal to us. Anyone staying here needs to know that it is 20 mins to the main road to Gulf Shores but nice it isn’t crowded etc. There are a few Dollar General’s on the road and if you keep going towards Fort Morgan we definitely recommend Tacky Jacks 2 for food & ice cream but there is not much else out there.

House needs work - check to be sure there is internet as well

Arrived and found numerous issues including the main one of ABSOLUTELY NO INTERNET SERVICE. This house is located in a cell phone dead zone so we were without any type of internet service while on the property. This would not have been a big deal if: a) there hadn't been 2 separate days of severe weather in the area during which we received ZERO warnings; b) my brother had to leave days early because he was unable to work due to no service; or c) this was not advertised as being present. This issue was reported within the first hour of being at the property, and local representative contact was not received until almost 24 hours later after having sent 2 additional messages to the national representative at Vacasa. The local rep stated the internet company could not make a service call until the day we were leaving, This issue along with the numerous others should have been corrected/checked prior to our check in. It was obvious that this house had not been rented recently or checked by maintenance personnel.

Great house!

My family and I spent the week between Christmas and New Years at this property and it was perfect for myself and my husband, as well as my two adult children and their partners. The private bathrooms were a huge draw for our family. We had plenty of room to spread out, and come together in the common areas to play games. The outdoor decks were the perfect space to view the thunderstorms that roared across the gulf. The amenity that would have made this the perfect stay would be a bit more attention to the level of dry goods stocked. We ended up purchasing items such as trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels dishwasher and laundry pods, coffee filters, and salt and pepper. For a beautiful property that sleeps 8+ comfortably, it would be nice to have more than two trash bags.

Perfect Spot for our Large Family

We chose this house because we thought our large group would fit comfortably. We had three couples and 2 young children. It was the perfect house for our trip. We were close enough to the beach for the kids to walk and we had enough room in the house where we never felt like we were on top of each other. It was great having the pool and there were lots of extras we weren't expecting (beach toys and floaties for the pool!). The layout worked perfectly for our group and we would definitely come back!

Family vacation

Loved the entire house AND the pool for the 4 grandchildren. Great place except for the stairs . Grandparents really worn out from multiple trips up and down the 33 steps , whew! 😊🥴😉. Not VACASAS fault.

Beautiful Location

The house is beautiful in a peaceful location. It was well stocked with plenty of room. My only concern is it took them 2 days to get to the house to fix the pool filter. We rented this just for the private pool, other than slow service I would stay here again.

Family Vacation

Overall the house was great for our family. The deck was wonderful to relax. The pump on the pool was out most of the week. The lights didn't work on the pool. The internet did not work at all. Call management company daily. They said they would call me back with update. Only called back once. Pool pump was fixed on Thursday and Internet was fixed on Friday the day before we left. The offered a very small credit. Emailed about my concerns when returned and still have not heard back.

Perfect, Peaceful Retreat

This home was everything and more! We loved the multiple balconies, to be away from the hustle and bustle, and the private pool. The kitchen was amazing & the rooms were kept up beautifully. Truly a perfect retreat! If you don’t mind a 20 minute drive to Gulf Shores & you want your own private oasis, this is it!

The perfect getaway

Beautiful Home!

Our stay was absolutely amazing! This home had everything that we could possibly need for our family trip. The pool was surely a bonus! We are definitely planning to stay here again in the future. Great host!
