Vår Sea Lodge ligger direkt på stranden längs norra sidan av Grand Cayman i vackra Cayman Kai, ett avskilt lugnt, vänligt och säkert område.
Det är stranden fastighet med en vacker havsutsikt som går från turkos till djup safir. Den är skyddad av ett korallrev 200 meter ut och ger oss bra snorkling om du är nybörjare eller en ivrig snorkeler. Simning är bra i det mousserande kristallklara vattnet. Vår orörda strand har vacker sand och lockar att ta en trevlig promenad, koppla av i den underbara solen eller bygga stora sandslott. Det är aldrig trångt och är väldigt privat och fredligt, vilket ger den avskilda ön känslan.

Trendig möblerad, två sovrums enhet med king size-sängar i varje sovrum, alla med eget nyrenoverat kök och bad. Vår havsboende sover 4 men 2 luftmadrasser med pumpar tillhandahålls om det behövs för två barn eller annan gäst. Också bra för att sova ute under stjärnorna på den skärmade strandpromenaden.
Det finns ett fullt utrustat modernt kök och utomhus Weber grill.
Netflix, DVD-spelare med filmer (ingen kabel-TV), WIFI Internet-anslutning, och betala när du går mobiltelefon för användning var som helst.

Sovrummen har luftkonditionering, men det behövs inte ofta med de trevliga tropiska vindarna och de underbara spjälldörrarna i varje sovrum och i vardagsrummet som öppnar sig vid strandpromenaden. Lyssna och koppla av till de lapping vågorna och njut av havsluften; De öppna dörrarna gör stora nätter.

Strandpromenaden är perfekt för att äta ute under stjärnorna eller titta på månen stiga över vattnet. Det är också avkopplande bara för att luta dig tillbaka och titta på Karibiska havet.
Star stirra och leta efter satelliter högt uppe i himmelen, eller hitta konstellationer, eftersom himlen är så tydliga. Kikare tillhandahålls.

We enjoyed the snorkeling in the area behind the cottage better than the rest of the island spots. Very peaceful location with great views of the water, reef, wind, sand, palms, coconuts, etc.We cooked every day and the kitchen and cottage were well stocked for our needs during a 2 week stay.

This place is amazing! The views are spectacular, it is quiet and well maintained, landscaping very nicely kept. The best part of all was the amazing ocean breeze that came through the entire condo, it was lovely!

August 2022 stay

Stayed here with my wife and three teenagers - we all loved it. Right on the beach, quiet, private - really nice feel to the place. We stayed at a more up-scale condo with a pool, etc. for our second week, and we all liked this place better.

Updated traditional beach house in fantastic location

This unit is in a fantastic location right on the beach. It is more traditional style beach condo in comparison to much of the glitzy new construction on Cayman beaches but it has been thoughtfully updated inside and was spotlessly clean and very very well appointed (when have you last seen a melon baller in a rental) We definitely preferred the vibe of this place to something super-modern and the price was very reasonable for being right on the beach. With a breeze during our whole stay we turned off the air conditioning and just appreciated the sea air blowing through the hurricane blinds. Rum point was a great place to hang out with good food and service. Lots to explore using this location as a base including the botanic gardens, East End (frigate bird feeding at Tukka and Parrot sanctuary were fun for kids). Also the kids spent hours playing outside in the sand. Snorkeling out front (and doing drift toward rum point) was great although we got unlucky with strong winds during much of our stay so did not do as much of this as we would have liked. Google Testudo’s Cayman Snorkel Blog for details of snorkelling this area. Overall a terrific experience and highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay. Barbara was kind to help us with one small issue we had and was very prompt. House was clean and had everything you need. It’s your home away from home. I would recommend staying in condo 23 and if/when I come again I will also stay again! Thanks for the wonderful home and we are sad to have to leave.

Island Bliss at SeaRendipity Sea Lodge

Our month-long stay (February 1-28, 2025) at the “SeaRendipity” Sea Lodge was absolutely fabulous. The location is definitely out of the hustle and bustle of Georgetown and Seven Mile Beach, exactly what we were looking for (relaxation and family time!). The sea lodge was right next to the beach for easy access for snorkeling and just plain lollygagging on the beach! In general, the accommodations were very clean and comfortable and the air conditioning in the bedrooms a plus on windless, hot nights. SeaRendipity was fully equipped with every necessity that we needed and desired. The kitchen had all the cooking supplies and essentials for preparing and serving meals. The BBQ grill certainly came in handy and we used it many times during our stay. Be aware, eating out on Grand Cayman is very expensive, so we elected to prepare many of our own meals at SeaRendipity. The snorkeling just off the beach, on the barrier reef was very good. Swimming was not ideal though, but manageable (due to rocks and sea grass).That said, better swimmable beaches are close by at Rum Point or Starfish Point. The location of the SeaRendipity was perfect for accessing Rum Point, Kaibo Beach, Northside and Eastside restaurants and local attractions. On windy days, we traveled to Seven Mile Beach (Cemetery Beach!) for a day of swimming, snorkeling and beachcombing in the placid, blue waters of the Caribbean Sea. All in all, we were fully satisfied with our fabulous stay at the SeaRendipity Sea Lodge!

We enjoyed the screened patio, peacefulness and panoramic view. The owner responded quickly to concerns regarding television. We appreciated detailed local information supplied by the owner. Unfortunately, one the wives experienced a slight stroke and had to leave early. Hospital care on the island was very good. Thank you for the good part of out trip.

Great beachy property

We’ve stayed in another unit here previously and love the location. Snorkeling out front to the reef is always amazing and you are very close to Rum Point and Kaibo. We prefer the quieter side of the island. The unit does get hot in the main areas, but we left the AC on low in the bedrooms with the doors closed so we could cool down between outdoor activities or cooking. We did already know this about these condos so it was expected. Plenty of kitchen needs were available to us, actually had soap for the washer and dryer which was great. Would absolutely stay here again. 100% as expected.

Perfect location near Rum Point

Had a great stay at SeaRendipity. The location can't be beat. The property has a large sandy beach and snorkeling from the shore was great! It's an older complex, but this unit has added A/C units in the bedrooms. This was truly needed and appreciated in July! Units are set up to let the almost always present wind come in, which helps in the living area. Unit had everything you could need for cooking and also a lot of beach towels and toys. Water pressure in the shower was great. This unit is the closest in a line to the beach. Direct sea views from the living areas and the amazing screened in back patio. This area was fantastic. Large enough for a 6 person dining table and 4 loungers. Screened on sides and top! Layed out one night and watched the stars from the patio. Great stay that I hope to repeat. Soft sand, tropical breezes, beautiful view and easy snorkeling!

Old time Caribbean beach cottage!!

Just spent a week at SeaRendipity and it was way better than I hoped. Right on the beach with warm sea breezes and fabulous sunrises. We snorkeled every day. Lots of beautiful reef fish, stingrays, turtles, coral, fans, and even a spotted eagle ray! The cottage was clean and very well equipped. It felt like the Caribbean of 50 years ago. If your looking for a peaceful, quiet, and romantic destination, this is it. Watching the stars is so much better than watching screens. Dining on the seaside lanai was terrific! Ed made the entire process easy and was always accessible. I definitely recommend this property for your beach vacation!

Amazing Experience

My family of four had a great experience at this rental property. It was a very relaxing vacation due to the fact that we almost had the ocean to ourselves. The rental was very well equipped and my boys loved reading the reef coral, reef fish, and the reef creature's books that were left for us on the table. We were able to find almost every single fish in the book! We snorkeled the Rum Point reef drift route almost every day and managed to see different types of rays, a green moray eel, lobsters, turtles and even a nurse shark! We loved the location, privacy, and cooking at the property which saved us a lot of money. It is definitely a little piece of paradise! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!

We loved this place

Only issues were we had no house key (it’s a safe island) and one of the bathrooms had a sink and shower that didn’t drain so we used the other. Snorkeling was tremendous as was the closeness to run point. We didn’t need to bring our stuff, this place has masks, flippers, life jackets, snorkels, sand toys....FANTASTIC! You have everything you need and can get food/coffee at Chisolms if you don’t want to eat out every night. Beds are king side, there is AC if you need it but ocean breeze is better, games and books too. Cleaning lady was great! Thank you! The Mahon’s!

Nice place

Nice place in a beautiful spot. The issues we had surrounded the tiny tv with no channels and it not pulling up Netflix. We called the property manager and she was not helpful. We called the owner and he tried to help but that didn’t work either. The AC in one of the rooms also did not work very well

Great location!

We loved the closeness to the beach, the view of the water and sky, the breeze... On days we stayed around Rum Point there were restaurants and activities nearby. When we went to George Town or Seven Mile Beach, the drive wasn't as bad as we thought it might be, but we were very glad our cottage was far away from the cruise ships and the traffic. For snorkelers, SeaRendipity has plenty of room to dry out your gear, and the washer & dryer is a great bonus too. Overall, a very relaxing 12 days with plenty of access to lots of good snorkel beaches. After seeing most of the island we remained quite happy we picked this unit. The owners are very responsive to their guests' questions and comments. The kitchen isn't huge and the unit is not luxurious, but the location is why you're there. We'd rent it again if we return to Grand Cayman.

A Place of Pure Relaxation

If you are looking for a place with pure relaxation, you found it in this hidden gem. From the road, it doesn’t look like much but once you get inside, you find efficiency, a full kitchen, very comfortable bedrooms, and a screened in porch to die for. The owners have done a great job of supplying the things you need for a comfortable stay, they have even created a book of all the restaurants on the island with ratings, price ranges and menus. This unit is right on the corner only 40 feet from the beach. On this side of the island, a lot of the beaches are rocky, but in front of this group of condos it’s pure white sand with cabanas to lounge under during the day. We found ourselves waking each morning to sit out on the screened in porch to watch the waves and soak up some sun while drinking our morning tea. During the day, I never saw more than four or five people out on the beach so it’s very secluded. The snorkeling in front of the condo is pretty good, there are other places that might be better but it’s a drive to get to them. The condo is very close to Rum Point where there’s a great little bar and restaurant, and if you need a beach with lots of people, that the place. You can walk to it from the condo along the beach in about 15 minutes or it’s a three minute drive in your car. There’s a great little grocery that carries the essentials only a five minute drive away but if you need a large grocery store, it’s a 30 minute drive. All in all, this was a great find.

Great little beach house

If you’re expecting a house on the beach, this is not it, this is a beach house. This was a great little beach house, but you need to know what you want to fully appreciate it. I was expecting AC in the rooms, which it has. But I didn’t realize all the doors have slats, so there is no insulation. The rooms get cooler than the rest of the house, but still warm all the time. The living room area was unbearably hot while the sun was out, even with the cross breeze. The screened porches were great, the location on the beach was great. The beach is great if you plan on just laying out on the beach, you can’t play in the water, too much seaweed. If you get pass the seaweed, there’s one of the best snorkeling spots that we found on the island. Just have to get pass all the seaweed. Rum Point is under construction, so the location was a little disappointing. Overall it was everything it was advertised to be, I just didn’t realize how much coming back to a cool room would mean to me. We left 2 days early to book a stay in a hotel for the last couple days we stayed there. If I had to do it again, I would have shorten our stay, but I would have still booked this beach house. It was a great experience

We had spent many years traveling to Mexico, but after having a child, we wanted a safer place. We fell in love with the Cayman people, the beautiful water, snorkeling, and diving. The pristine beach and quiet location make for a great getaway that is just an hour from Miami and under three hours from Houston. The English-speaking island is very clean with a low crime rate, no poverty, and currency fixed to the US Dollar. The weather is great all year.

Our unit is the only 2 bedroom Sea Lodge that is directly beachfront. We're on the corner of the small complex, so the beach feels very private!

Often times, you will find a place on a great beach. Commonly you will find a great snorkeling spot, but the shoreline is rocky. Here you have the privilege of enjoying both.
