This was the best place to stay, room was perfect, bed is comfortable, plenty of space in room and throughout the home. Very clean and has washer and dryer available for laundry. Definitely will be our go to next time we are back in town. Easy check in. Glacier is close by, downtown is easy to get to, bus stop close by. Recommend sandpiper for breakfast or Donna’s.

My favorite place to stay

This was my 4th stay at Grandma's House and I will definitely be booking it for my 5th and all subsequent stays. It's comfortable, homey, conveniently located, and has all the necessary amenities at a reasonable price.

My stay was amazing! Close by to everything and the property was phenomenal! Highly recommend this location to anyone traveling to the area for short or long term stay!

Homey and enjoyable!

Booking and check in were very easy! Grandmas private room was amazing and Kelli was so accommodating and helpful! I would highly recommend if you’re going to be staying in Juneau! So close and convenient to everything!

I had a great experience staying here! This was a more affordable option compared to other rentals in the downtown Juneau area. The house was very clean, the owners are easy to communicate with, the check in & check out process was easy, and the location in Mendenhall Valley is absolutely stunning.

Close to Mendenhall

Easy access to the attraction, shopping and the airport. Excellent communications with the host. A good place to stay while visiting Juneau.

Honeymoon

We stayed here 2 different times while on our Honeymoon. Quite an interesting experience with learning to know people from other countries. We really enjoyed our stay!

Honeymoon

We stayed here 2 different times while on our honeymoon in AK. It was interesting to have the opportunity to visit people from different places around the world. Very comfortable accommodations!

A peaceful stay in Mendenhaul Glacier valley.

There was a small glitch with my reservation, but the property manager immediately corrected it to my satisfaction and earned a 5 star rating. A lovely stay close to the glacier and bus line ($2) to downtown Juneau. Stay is very clean and well equipped. Highly recommended!

Grandma's Bedroom was quaint and exactly as advertised. Great value. Very clean and perfect for a person or couple on the cheap visiting Juneau. Close to the glacier and bus line. Best part was communication from host.

Would recommend

Very conveniently located, close to Mendenhall Glacier, downtown Juneau, the airport, Auke Bay, and the National Shrine of St. Therese (which is a beautiful place to visit). Kelli was very communicative and responded promptly to all my questions. Our unit and the common areas of the house were clean and homey. Our room was large and the bed was very comfortable. As others have said, the shower is tight, but there was a full bathroom on the second floor that could easily be used.

I want to start off by saying this property was calm and chill.this property was gives family vibes to me it like has a washer and dryer and everything. The host is great.they will go out of their way to make sure you have what you need here in juneau.while your here you will be be ok.this proberty is very comfortable and clean.

Good location

My friend and I stayed here for a few days of vacation in Juneau. We had a vehicle so that made our stay super convenient as we were near the airport and ferry terminal, and could easily make the drive into downtown when we wanted. The house was super clean and tidy, room was comfortable and check in was very easy. Only note was there was a massive wasp nest outside of the bedroom window which was interesting to watch but meant we couldn’t open the windows! I passed this on to the host who sounded like they would deal with it as soon as they could. Overall great stay.

Comfortable and welcoming stay

GrandmasBedroom is an awesome place to stay while visiting Juneau. We stayed in grandma's bedroom. It is a large and beautiful room with a very comfortable bed. There's a coffee pot and coffee for your use. The bathroom is adequate although the shower space is a bit small. If you are tall, you can just use the shower down the hall. The shared kitchen and dining area is perfect. There's plenty of space and plenty of cooking utensils. There's even a freezer which we used for storing some fish we were bringing home. There's a washer and dryer for your use. The house is located about 1.5 miles from the Mendenhall glacier and a couple of miles from the airport. Grandma's house feels like home. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend it. 5 stars!!
