Grandson treat

The place was amazing. Our grandson loved the pool so much that he only wanted to go to the beach a few times. Sandestin area is beautiful..

Downtown Greenville

We were in town for a wedding and this was the perfect location between downtown and the wedding venue. Lois met us upon our arrival and told us all of the good spots to go. We really enjoyed our weekend in Greenville and this was the perfect location.

Beautiful, spacious condo in nice location

We loved everything about our stay. Location and views were beautiful. Nicely decorated condo was the perfect size for our family of five. Walk to the beach was a short stroll down the sidewalk. We hope to stay again in the future.

This condo was everything we hoped for and more! Beautifully decorated with elegant touches that made it feel luxurious and cozy at the same time. It was spotless and thoughtfully organized. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to the beach and right in the heart of the stunning Sandestin resort. We loved starting our mornings with coffee on the balcony and ending our days exploring the nearby shops and restaurants. Truly a perfect getaway—we can’t wait to come back!

We had not been to the Luau since 2019. Boy, has it changed! We were never sent our check-in information by the host to get into the room. When we tried to contact the host, she would not respond. We had to actually get a hold of Vrbo. They told us that she would not respond to them either. Thank goodness she finally responded as we were walking up to the condo door several hours later. When entering the room, we found sand on the floor and in the pullout bed. There was a child’s shovel toy under the pullout couch. We also found several black hairs throughout the condo. The dryer destroyed a pair of my son’s Lululemon shorts. The elevator took forever, therefore we took the stairs several times. The beach was overly crowded. We were only allowed to sit in one small specific area on the beach. We were constantly asked to show our Luau bracelets at the pool and on the beach. Although the property next to us was a Sandestin Resort property, we were not allowed to even sit in our own beach chairs on that part of the beach. I would not recommend the Luau to anyone and we will not be back.

Very nice and clean but communication is lacking

The property itself was very nice as pictured and kept very clean. The beds were comfortable and pool is nice. One of the bedrooms only had sheer curtains and faces a building and parking lot with lots of lights. (We bought some blackout curtains to hang temporarily to be able to sleep during our stay.) The walk wasn't bad to the beach, just bring a wagon or cart if you plan on taking much to the beach with you. There were comfortable chairs provided in storage you can take to the beach. The beach was more crowded than any beach I have ever been to though. The communication with the host was very poor. We didn't hear anything at all, not even a confirmation of booking until about 24 hrs before check-in. Once we arrived the wrong condo number and floor were provided so we were trying to use the door code provided at the wrong door. A person was already occupying the condo number we were given so we were fortunately able to get it figured out since the host did not answer messages or phone call for a couple hours from that time. Overall a very nice, comfortable, and clean place to stay once we arrived at the right door!

It was an excellent location! Amazing condo. Amazing views. I did feel like it was hard to communicate with anyone about amenities and if I had Questions. But couldn’t have asked for a better location and spot! 10/10

The condo was clean, aesthetically pleasing, & spacious. We cooked most nights and the kitchen had everything we needed-basic things-pots, pans, etc. the beds were very comfortable, the shower heads were great, and even though Luau was busy this week you can’t hear all the people around you in their condo. Also, the walk to the beach is so convenient. We even used the pool this time and it was clean, so pretty, & relaxing. We did have a little hiccup in the beginning of our trip and realized we never received a code to get in. The host did get back to us within 2 hours so I would definitely make sure you have received the code a week before like most Vrbo places and reach out then- not when you are already at the beach. The host sent the information and we got in. This condo is really beautiful and in such a great spot. Publix is up the street, a nice outlet mall as well. Our family would definitely recommend this condo and host!

If your looking for a quiet place that’s very comfortable and enjoyable this is the place and not to forget it’s close to food and shopping and also close to the beach the beach view from the room is so so but the beach in person is wonderful.

Perfect for a family!

We enjoyed our stay at this Luau unit! It was perfect for our family to spread out in, cook breakfast, eat, and hang out together. The furniture is new and the decor is cute! It’s a short pleasant walk to the beach. We loved the pool too. Shelley is great with communicating & always got right back with me! Thank you Shelley for everything! We hope to be back next summer!

Much needed vacation

First time staying here, and it definitely won’t be our last. Everything was great. Very spacious and the beds were comfortable. The pool, and kiddie pool was nice, and the walk to the beach wasn’t bad at all. The view of the gulf and property was very nice. My only complaint is the elevator, only one was working and we had to take the stairs, luckily we were on the 5th floor. Making plans now for our next stay.

BEAUTIFUL Property!

I have been coming to Miramar beach and staying at the Luau for years.. and I must say that Shelly's property is the most beautiful rental I have stayed at! It was very clean, so beautifully decorated, had all the amenities that we needed for our stay. Shelly was very sweet and always answered any questions I had. And once again Miramar beach did not disappoint! We will definitely be back again next year and hope to stay at Shelly's property again!
