Overall good property but somewhat dated. Clean, close in, quiet but in need of attention to some repairs. When we arrived a couple of men were working on the outside metal sheathing on the walls which had apparently been damaged a few weeks earlier (we were told by the workers) during a hailstorm Was not a problem for us but we wondered why it took weeks to get repaired. Overall it was a good place and we would consider using again when back in Canyon.

Pet friendly

House was adequate, clean. Neighborhood was a bit sketchy. Our dog is perfectly fine to go on a leash but there was not a spot you could let your dog out.

Very easy

Great place to stay. Very comfortable and close to downtown Canyon. Host was great and super easy check in and out. Will definitely stay there again.

Cute House Great Location

This house was too cute! Super clean and had lots of extras in the kitchen and plenty of towels, pillows and blankets! Love that it had a dining room table! Location was great! Extra parking too! Host was easy to communicate with and helpful! Highly recommend!

Spring Break in Palo Duro

We really enjoyed our stay here during our time visiting Palo Duro Canyon. The house was a convenient and short distance from the state park, and it gave us a great base to go back and forth with our kids. The house was really nice, and the owners very helpful and responsive. We were really happy with the house and would definitely recommend for those visiting Palo Duro Canyon

Great location and comfortable stay

Overall, we enjoyed our 3 night stay at this STR. The house was great for my elderly parents with 1 bedroom downstairs and the other 2 bedrooms upstairs. The house was clean, and decorated nicely, has a good outdoor space, and we loved the location- it was easy access to the campus of West Texas A&M, grocery stores and other local restaurants. The park across the street was convenient as well. We unfortunately had a few hiccups that weren’t able to be resolved during our stay (the downstairs toilet wasn’t working properly, there was no ice or water from the fridge, and the living room fan wasn’t working). The owner was very apologetic for these inconveniences and was very responsive to inquiries and that was much appreciated. If these things would have all been working properly (mainly the toilet), then definitely would give this property a five-star review. With that in mind, if you’re needing a 3 bedroom 2 bath rental near the campus that sleeps 6 comfortably, then this house is otherwise a great option!

Close to everything!

We spent a girl's weekend here (we are all in our 60's). This was just the place for us. Clean, nice decor, and close to Palo Duro Canyon, Walmart Supercenter, restaurants, museum, etc. There was a farmer's market on the square on summer Saturdays, so we visited that as well. Good a/c, all kitchen items provided, and thanks for the complimentary bottle of wine!

Just Right for My Group

Came with friends to see Texas! Musical and do some hiking in Palo Duro Canyon. Location is about 20 min from the park entrance and very close to the grocery store and the museum in town. Kitchen had what we needed, and I especially appreciated the Amazon Echo Dots in the bedrooms to dial up my favorite radio stations.
