Enjoy a getaway on the quiet and peaceful Mesa in Pueblo CO. Small cottage, cute kitchen, and cozy living room with a full shower and bathroom. It is located behind our household , off backyard patio. With secured parking off of street and and safe access to cottage, you can settle in with peace of mind and security. You will see some of our farm animals , to include some turkeys , and small goats in our yard.Enjoy the quiet of the country living with bright stars at night, and the occasional soft bellow of an animal in the distance! Feel free to enjoy a stroll around the property's three acres, and fire up the grill for an evening meal. Did I mention the Mesa's delicious dining opportunities, all while you are just minutes from the downtown area? Sit outside on the the porch swing to enjoy the serene outdoors, or cozy up and watch a movie on the big screen tv, complete cable and fire stick connections , if you have a fire-stick to bring :) .. you are welcome to park along our back fence line or in drive way by our back garage, or further out if you prefer.The designated parking area is located away from the animals, but if you feel it's not far enough, there are extra parking options outside the fenced area and further into our property. Please keep in mind that we cannot take responsibility for your vehicle. Thank you!

Would love to stay here again. Quiet neighborhood and you get to wake up to animals. Doesn't get much better in the city.

Surprising challenges

While the host was extremely pleasant and kind there was a challenge in locating cottage. It sits completely behind host’s home. Was unable to find it until host saw us. Drove into farm, had to get out of car to move gate to pull in. Needed to park in muddy area next to fenced area with turkeys, goats & chickens roaming. Walked through barnyard to cottage. Plastic covered Twin bed crinkled when I moved.

Overall this was a very nice stay! The host is incredibly friendly and kind, and waking up to animals out back was really a treat. If you're booking in Colorado with the hopes of having a space to enjoy the local legal recreational smoke, then this might not be the place for you. The cottage is located in the host’s backyard, (which is decently sized) but they have young kids and the property is smoke free. For us this was a minor inconvenience, but it’s good to know beforehand. There were definitely ants in the cottage, so we kept all of our snacks in the fridge.

Best soul healing

I had an absolutely fabulous time. I came to Pueblo to reconnect with an old friend and heal my soul. This small family farm is excellent. The hostess and host are very kind, polite, helpful. I definitely have plans to return. Ilove waking up to all the animals and the amazing beauty around. I highly recommend!!!

Unsatisfactory

Dealing with the host was a pleasant experience. Cleanliness was questionable, and many things were in poor condition. After an early departure the morning after I arrived, I returned to find all my food covered in ants. Ants had gotten into and ruined all my perishable items, even into a peanut butter jar sealed tight. This was a massive disappointment, I cannot recommend staying here.

Perfect in Pueblo

Great communication with owner. Private small building on piece of land with fenced in chickens, turkeys, goats - all amusing to watch. Bed very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped for us to make breakfast. Generous owner shared fresh eggs for our breakfast. We would love to stay at this property again.

The owner's were amazing. We had a little problem when we showed up (I didn't read the Vrbo info correctly on pets) but they worked with us on everything, provided all we needed, and really made us feel at home. THANK YOU!!!!

Perfect little getaway us hostess

My daughter and I went to the state fair and just needed somewhere to lay our heads for the night. This was perfect! Tiny but comfy. All the basic amenities were covered. The only suggestion would be to have the inside cooled off (or heated) when expecting guests. Otherwise, no negatives. Lynn was wonderful from initial booking through our stay. We even got some fresh eggs to take home! Highly recommend. Should we have occasion to visit Pueblo again we would definitely stay here.

Cute Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay and we’re impressed with the cute decorating. It was charming. The hostess was very responsive and a joy to work with. I personally would have preferred a firmer queen bed but I had a good night’s sleep. If you like getting up early, the local rooster will help you with that.

Lovely Private Cottage!

My son and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Lynn’s property! She is incredibly welcoming and friendly — and was kind enough to give us some fresh eggs from her chickens! The cottage on her property is very much as advertised. It is tastefully decorated and has many conveniences that made our stay enjoyable. The property is located in an area with many amenities as well. I had no problem finding multiple grocery stores, retail stores, etc. all within a short driving distance. I highly recommend staying at Lynn’s property!

Very Nice!

Came down to Pueblo for some fishing with my son, we very much enjoyed our 2 day stay! Hosts were very nice we enjoyed our talks with them. Gave us some fresh eggs! 30 Mins from the north shore boat ramp for Lake Pueblo

Great Stay

Perfect little cottage for an extended weekend in Colorado. The nice owner greeted us upon arrival to let us know if we needed anything to let them know. Close to town and the Riverwalk.

Country Charm

Lynn and her family were very nice and the rural setting was beautiful! It was amazing to get to stay in the area I grew up in. The cottage was super clean, Lynn was very responsive, and the decor was great! Only downfall was the wifi kept kicking off, but she tried multiple times to get it fixed and was so apologetic.

Just perfect for our needs!

Lynn is an exceptional host. Exceptional communication and she made sure to check in on us several times during our stay. She even gave us farm fresh eggs! Huge fenced in area for the dogs and they even made friends with the turkey! Very clean, full bathroom and kitchen. Grocery store 2 minutes away and Target, King Scooper and more just 12 minutes in highway. Thanks again Lynn!!

High quality experience - Great Location

This was a nice family mini-house in a great farm location. The host had everything prepared and communication was great before, during and after our stay. The shower, kitchen, climate and entertainment controls were spot on.

Greetings from the turkeys!

This property is out in the country but easy to get to and so much better then being in the middle of the city---quiet and cute. The turkeys belonged to the owners and were roaming free....fun to watch!

sweet cottage get away

The property and host family are all lovely. Our kids are grown, but I liked how kid friendly the cottage is right down to dishes for little ones. We were in need of a sweet get away, and were so very pleased with our choice. Wish our stay could have been longer. Maybe next time!
