Tillbringa din semester i år i våra fyra sovrum, fyra och en halv bad, Luxury Home. Huset har också två familjerum, ett loft som kan användas som 5: e sovrum, uteplats med stor bubbelpool med utsikt över sjön, veranda och stor däck där du kan njuta av utsikt över sjön, poolen, golfbanan, och berg.

Allt du behöver för att njuta av din tid på Big Canoe är tillgängliga för dig i vårt hem ligger vid sjön Disharoon. Du kan vakna upp till ljudet av kanadensiska gäss flyger ovanför och somna lyssna på låtar av grodor. Vårt hem har central värme och luft samt takfläktar i alla rum, men ibland behöver du inte ens behöver dem!

Ställ vid foten av den natursköna North Georgia Mountains med höjder som överstiger 3000 fot lägger förtrollat land som kallas Big Canoe. Var beredd att bromsa för rådjur eller vilda kalkon vid varje given tur på vägen.

Du kan gå ut bakvägen i vårt hus och ner för backen till sjön (strand), pool, vattnet, och fitnesscenter med inomhuspool. Inget behov av att komma in i bilen om du inte vill.

Almost Heaven

This vacation rental was fabulous! The access to amenities was amazing. It was convenient and easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. The home was perfect for our family. It had space for work, play, and relaxation. I can’t find enough words to express how much we enjoyed the stay!!

Excellent Home

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was as stated. We enjoyed the hot tub and found some really nice hiking trails. A short walk down to the beach. Our dog really enjoyed it as well.

Nice relaxing vacation

Property was just as described. It was perfect for a set of parents, their 2 grown children, and 6 grandchildren. They even had a pack-n-play for the infant. Owner was easy to contact, and even alerted us once when there was a bear sited near the house. One of the lakes/pool areas was able to be accessed by walking down a hill from behind the house, which the kids took full advantage of. There were lifeguards, so the older kids were able to come and go to the pool. We will definitely stay there again.

Family Reunion Fun

We rented two homes overlooking the beach club for our large family. It was wonderful being able to walk down to the beach club. The home was very well appointed. Tom was very helpful before our stay - even letting us know that the local store had a refrigeration problem the day before our stay began.

Perfect Spot in Big Canoe

We’ve been to Big Canoe numerous times, and Almost Heaven is our favorite rental there. The house had everything we needed, and the hot tub was a fun bonus. The location so close to the Beach Club cannot be beat, especially when you have kids and are there in the summer. Tom is a fantastic host, responsive and kept us up to speed on everything we needed to know.

Rustic, homey, amazing location

Beautiful house perched in the woods above the lake; the view from the living room window is like a picture postcard. The steep path behind the house takes you to the little beach (for boating, wading, volleyball) and to the hiking trails. It was somehow both spacious and snug, with autumnal decor, and with more rooms than we could even take advantage of.

Great house

We enjoyed our extended family stay at this house, and another up the road. This house had plenty of sleeping area, was well clean and well maintained, great location where you could walk down to the beach club, and a communicative and helpful owner. Highly recommended.

Great home for a family of nine.

Great home for a family of nine. this house was perfect for a family of nine with four bedrooms and a loft and 4 1/2 baths. The kitchen was well stocked and the pantry had a lot of what we needed. The owner was a great communicator and particularly helpful when we found out that we left a backpack in the house

Great stay with private owned facility

Great spot - loved the hot tub after pickleball session (yes really!) Tom was great to work with and very responsive. Much better than two other properties we worked with that had management companies. Properties were similar and I would pick working with Tom 100% over others.

Tom, Judi and Stephanie - We were the first home owners in the Laurel Ridge section of Big Canoe 19 years ago. We live in metro Atlanta in the town of Smyrna Georgia, 65 miles from Big Canoe. Judi is a retired elementary school teacher and Tom was a Sr. Project manager working projects in 27 countries and retired March 2016. Stephanie is our lovely special needs daughter and along with working is very active in a number of sports in Special Olympics.

This house will be like taking your own home on vacation with you. This house is not a small mountain cabin, It has room for the entire family to have their own space or bond together in the living room. From the lower level of the house it is only a 50 yard walk down the hill to the swim club and the start of the hiking trails through the woods. After a swim, hike or run in the woods you can relax in our 8 person hot tub.

You can sit in the living room and have a view of the mountains, beach and the golf course. In the morning. In the evening you can see wild life outside the windows. Unlike many homes in the area our parking pad will accommodate 4 cars.
