Cabin #3 is a stand alone cabin right on the beach with sunrise views and the sound of waves crashing you to sleep at night. It boast two bedrooms a full bathroom with shower, a complete kitchen with appliances and a living area with a sleeper sofa. Nothing between your front door and Lake Huron but a few footprints in the sand! This nicely appointed cabin with a million dollar view will not disappoint.

Beautiful View/Needs Updating

Beautiful lake view and beach, however, the mattresses and sofa were terribly uncomfortable. Mattresses and sofa need to be replaced! The pull out sofa blocked the only door, (fire hazard). Not enough room/chairs for 4 to sit and eat inside. No can opener, no colander, not enough utensils for 6 people. This would never sleep 6 adults comfortably.

Excellent Location

We enjoyed our visit. The cabins were exactly what we expected. We had some Internet issues the first two days of our visit, but the host was quick to respond and helped resolve the issues. The beds were comfortable. The cabin sleeps 6, but the pullout couch was not the most comfortable. I’d say the pullout couch is best for small children. And once the pullout bed is down, there is no space to get out the door. Just some things to consider. Overall it’s hard to beat the location and beach right on Lake Huron. We will definitely be coming back.

Great time

We had a great time. Look forward to visiting again. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the grounds were torn up. I understand that was because there were repairs being done. I doubt I would want to stay in cabin 3 again. Felt like I was stuck in a corner. But cabin was clean and nice. Beds were comfortable.

Not our first stay

Would have liked to meet the owners. We have been coming to this location for close to 30 years. I would like to see availability and pricing online to plan out future stays.

Nice getaway on the lake

The place was just perfect for 4 guests. Great location being right on the beach. The kayaks were a great amenity. The notes and board with instructions were helpful. Would recommend for a weekend stay.

Excellent resort with friendly staff that go above and beyond. Always making sure all items are in place, towels provided, and the hospitality is as amazing. Also to the owners working tirelessly to always listen and make improvements. I will definitely be coming back.

Northern Retreat

The beach and cabins were very comfortable. Outstanding response from everyone associated with this property. Tim and Nancy went out of there way too insure everyone’s comfort.
